Vanessa Hudgens Talks Teen Image

Though she became a household name thanks to her Disney contract, Vanessa Hudgens is now desperately trying to shed her teen idol image. The "High School Musical" babe told press that she's ready to move on to a more adult career with new and challenging roles.
"People think of me as the High School Musical girl. There's nothing wrong with that. My character was a great role model, but I get so bored doing the same thing. I want to grow like everybody else."
Vanessa also explained how frustrating it is when people continually bring up her nude photo scandal. "It's just really unfortunate, and to this day people hate me for it, but it's not like I chose to put that out there in the world. It's so aggravating and frustrating, and whenever anybody asks me, would I do nudity in a film, if I say that it's something I'm not comfortable with, they're like, 'Bulls**t, you've already done it.' If anything it makes it more embarrassing, because that was a private thing. It's screwed up that someone screwed me over like that. At least some people are learning from my mistakes."

Private Concert!

Me and my friends got tickets to Selena's private concert that was today. It was at the Roxy in Hollywood. She sang 5 songs (in order), Kiss & Tell, Crush, As A Blonde, Tell Me Something I Don't Know, and Falling Down. Selena did absolutely amazing and I really can't wait for her album! I uploaded over 70 pictures to the gallery. If you want to use them for your site you can but please credit us!

Maiara has joined the cast of the ABC hit tv drama/comedy Desperate Housewives where she plays the spoilled and super gorgeous niece of Eva Longoria's character Gabrielle Solis. Maiara (Ana) is staying at the Solis and will cause quite a fuzz.
Be sure to tune in Sundays @ 9 PM, the new season premieres September 27th.

Sonny hunk Sterling Knight is getting his own DCOM! The 20-year-old actor will star as Christopher Wilder in the upcoming Starstruck. The flick follows Jessica Olson (newcomer Danielle Campbell), a down-to-earth girl from the Midwest who collides (literally) with Hollywood’s teen heartthrob, pop star Christopher Wilder (Knight). They wind up on a love-struck adventure in Southern California, but their bond is tested when she returns home and he publicly denies their relationship. Starstruck also stars Brandon Smith and Maggie Castle and is set for a 2010 release.

CW's The Beautiful Life Axed after 2 Episodes

NEW YORK – The CW network's "The Beautiful Life: TBL" has become the first television series from the new fall crop to be canceled.
The network says it's being pulled after only two episodes aired.
The drama starred Mischa Barton and Sara Paxton and was executive produced by Ashton Kutcher. It was set in the glamorous modeling world of New York City.
It premiered Sept. 16 to just 1.5 million viewers. The audience dropped for this week's episode.
In its place on Wednesdays at 9 p.m. Eastern the CW will repeat episodes of its promising new "Melrose Place" revival, one day after their original airing.

Ashley becomes a blonde again. After almost a year as a brunette, over the weekend, the High School Musical 3 star traded her edgier dark brown hair for a flaxen-haired look, and Tweeted about the experience. “Finishing my hair! Just wait till you see it. Aaahhhh!!!,” she told fans. After revealing the finished look, she explained, “I loved being my natural color but Its for an upcoming project which I’m really excited to share with you soon. I love you all! Xoxo”

The former Friends star dished to ET, saying, "Zac Efron would be perfect, but Zac probably has too much confidence to be real prey for a cougar.
