how old do u have 2 b 2 go onto american idol?if u have 2 b over 16 cum to the united kingdom at 16 and join the X Factor (its the same as american idol)

It's 16 fro american idol. I'll have to beg my mom to let me go on the one for ten through 16. I would just have to say I'm ten (because I'm nine) but I'm turning ten on Dec. this year!

Hmmmm, Rebecca. That's tough. Don't waste your time on American Idol. Sing a local baseball games and such. Sing in public locally. Take singing lessons. Don't hope for too much at once, you're only 9, but if you dream big what you really want will happen.

wat hav u bin doin so far? hav u done an audition? do u sing in public? u hav to get used to that b4 u get on american idol. like if ther's a skool talent show then go for that.start with small stuff b4 u start goin for american idol.not unless they will hav another season of american juniors maybe u can go ther u kno start small then u will gradually get through

Well I enter my school talent show and my day camp(day camp is over the summer my brothers work their so theres no one to watch me at home so I have to go but I get spoiled there!) I may start singing in public soon and not just talent shows and at home. I loved to sing ever since I could remember! I could remember when I was 3 at the youngest!

I love to sing, and I want to be famous too. But there are sooo many people with great voices that never get to be famous. My grandma had the opportunity to be a big star, she already performed all over Ohio, but her parents wouldn't let her. My life could be way different if she'd become more famous, but she didn't. My mom could have too, she had her own tape she made in a real recording studio. And my uncle...he is really good. I mean it. I heard a CD of his old band. Maybe when I'm older I'll get lucky like they did. I'm lucky to come from a musical family.
