and disney owns the company releasing this, its just not the walt disney studio thats releasing this. they have as much of a hand in it as they would have in anything. disney doesn't have to equal a G or PG rating. Pirates of the Carribeen was actually release on walt disney, and the note book was released by the same company thats releasing this. 90% of all media is owned by 6 companies, one of those being disney. there are a lot of things that are disney and you don't even know it

im sure though when the movie comes out it'll be like what hilary said about when she was trying to get away from her disney image. like everybody was trying to hold her back (fans and such) and they always looked at her as somebody their kids could look up to and always as lizzie mcguire. i think some parents will take their kids to this movie regardless of rating (im pretty sure it'll be like PG 13 or something like that) because miley's in it and think that it must be okay for that reason, because people have done that in the past with child stars who tried to break away from their younger roles and tried to reach out to a broader and more mature audience, and then be pretty shocked about what the film is actually like.
