Miley's voice is heavy, if shes they don't want her to over power the others then they're mics have to be higher then hers. its just how it is, like Taylor, her voice is not that strong at all(as much as I love her) so her mic would have to be higher then someone elses perhaps. This is always a problem when Miley sings with people and its not because of what shes doing, its because of her tone. There was a girl in my high school class, she has a heavy voice like Miley does and no matter what she did, she overpowered the rest of her section. she won competitions all the time though because she is a good singer, theres just nothing she can do about having a heavy tone. Either they have to lower Miley's mic or Higher Nick's because shes going to overpower him no matter what she herself does. even if she sings softer her tone is still very heavy and thats the problem, not her how loud she herself is singing.

Miley's actually one of the few teen stars right now who understands dynamics and knows how to use them in performance, its part of what makes her a better performer then people like Demi, even though Demi has better pure talent.

Yeah, lol. No offense to Taylor, I dont hate her at all, but I dont get why shes famous ad so poplular. She really cant sing. Lol. Her voice is so weak. That live performance of Should've Said No was horrible. Even my cant listen to it. Everybody says that Miley is a terrible singer and that she cant sing live worth a crap, but say Taylor's incredible singer. It makes so mad! Its the other way around. Again, I dont hate Taylor at all.:)

I totally agree with this.
I was listening to her cd when it first came out (downloaded...no way i'm gonna spend my money on her).. and you can hear her voice crack several times on many of the songs. I'm suprised the people in charge of editing didn't fix that... :21:

well i love taylor but i definately don't like how the critics act like shes the best singer ever and much better thne Miley, because anyone who know what they're talking about would definately disagree with that.

Taylors a very weak vocalist, which is actually fine for country music because country music isn't exactly know for powerhouses. Her songwriting is amazing though.
Miley's a powerhouse vocally, and the major thing with her is she really, really knows how to sing.
