I was also thinking that fear of another Radiohead type controversy was the reason for their actions this morning. I can somewhat understand their concern, because she received so much flak from people who weren't familiar with her sense of humor and probably took her comments more seriously than I think they were intended. But cutting her off like they did almost shows a lack of confidence in her ability to handle the tough questions which I don't think is warranted. That is so disrespectful, you do not just hang up on someone in the middlf of a conversation. Her publicist, could have just butted in and said "Please do not ask that question" but hang up? This is sad. Miley is getting a bad rap due to the publicist and some DJ's. The publicist has his head in a very dark place. He should be fired. The DJ's are out of line. They are looking for their "you heard it here first" 15 seconds of fame. Miley is more than capable of handling the questions. She has handled tough questions in the past. She has even responded with "no comment" in the past. The publicist seems to be treating her as a 5 year old. One of the best things about Miley is her openness in interviews. Slamming the door shut, just puts her in a bad light. Now that this has started, it's not going to stop. More DJ's are going to do this for their moment in the spotlight. The gossip mongers will push this as far as they can. They will skew it so Miley is the villain. Everyone but Miley wins in this situation. I hope it doesn't last long, but deep down, I believe some DJ's will create this situation for their benefit; attention and publicity.

True. You don't time interviews to the second. It seems that the interviews were set up to close to each other. That is the fault of her handler, not Miley's. Just hanging up is the rudest way to terminate a phone interview. Her handler is at fault and should call the stations , apologize, and explain what happened. Leaving it to Miley to do damage control is totally wrong. Miley may of been aware of the time limits, but it appears that she did not know it would be handled this way. Me, I would fire the handler.
