I have elements 2.0. i can't do selective coloring:( boo hoo
this tut is really straight forward so

remeber this tut won't work with all pictures
STEPS
----------
step 1 : resize your picture i resized mine 149x100
Step 2: move the picture onto a 100x100(new) (making the base)
step3: sharpen(not neccesary but it will look better(not always))
step4: open a new 100x100
step5: fill it in with the bucket (color: F7D5A5) its like a peach
step 6: move the F7D5A5 onto the base.where it says layers in the right hand corner click it and then the drop down box and click softlight. the opacity should be : 100%
Step7:pick a dark blue (close to black ) color:010E1B
step8: move 010E1B onto the base. set to exclusion in the drop down box. opacity: 100%
step 9 : then go to layer<newadjustmentlayer<hue and saturation. where it says mode put screen. the click ok
step 10: it should say edit: master on the top. change the saturation and lightness. lightess should be : -61. saturation should be: +40
step11:apply a dark purple color: 190325
step 12: move onto the base. set it to screen. 100%opacity
step13: go to layer<newadjustmentlayer<hueandsat<mode:softlight<lightness+11
step14:add any textures,brushes,text, etc. (i added one texture)
