View Full Version : Bruce Springsteen in Hershey, PA last night ..
To preface; Bruce usually plays about 26 songs. Usually just short of 3 hours. He'll take signs from the audience somewhere in the middle of the set and play a few of them, and he does this every show.
Anyway, I just found this from the Hershey, PA show last night. After I think 5, he pulled this out of the crowd and played this song Twist N Shout for the first time in YEARS. Anyway; the sign ..

When and where did you see him? I saw him 4/3/09 and 5/12/09 in Glendale, AZ and Chicago, respectively, and the band was in top form both times.

the steelers had such an awesome game...beat the stuffing out of the cardinals. :P
although the commericals were the best ever <3 haha

2008 Magic Tour : Was a staple for the European leg of the tour. Europe gets it better, remember. Played 12 times in total, 3 by request.
Not played 2007-2000. 2001 is the end of Bruce's setlist record, but it was a staple in the 70's then disappeared pretty much.
If you want to get technical; it hasn't been played stateside all decade until yesterday.

BRUCE SPRINGSTEEN IS GOD. lol, seriously people, don't judge him only on the Superbowl. It's like trying to cram a 3 hour concert in 12 minutes. It doesn't work. I've seen him live 5 times and I can tell you his shows are MUCH better than that. But a bunch of people told me they loved it and thought it was the best halftime show they had seen. Listen to the album Born to Run to get a sense of old Bruce, and the album Magic for the new Bruce. Both are epic. And hooray for Dylan starting the Bruce revolution on MMW.
