idk how ppl are affording it. I did the package to see how much it would cost, and it was almost $4,000 for 3 nights/2 people.

If you've got a daughter between the age of eight and 18, then the best thing you could do for her this weekend is take her to the Miley Cyrus concert this weekend!

Yes, I can hear it now, the screams of thousands of young children reverberating across the Imperial Ballroom at Atlantis when Miley takes the stage. And nine-year-old Chelsea Tynes, a huge fan of Miley, would love to be one of them.

"I like Miley Cyrus very much, because I like her music, and her songs are interesting," she said adding that her favorite is 'Let's Get Crazy.'" Chelsea has a schoolmate who will definitely be at the show, and wishes she was going.

After speaking with The Nassau Guardian, her mother, Tonya said Chelsea pouted for hours because she wanted to attend the concert. "She kept saying she wanted to go to the Miley Cyrus concert. I told her I thought she'd forgotten it was this weekend and she said no she didn't forget because every time her friend talks about going, it reminds her that she wants to go to."

Unbeknownst to Chelsea, her mother had already purchased tickets to take her to the concert, along with her little brother Christopher.

Chelsea had a few choice words for parents, and that is to take their children to the show, because she says that most of her peers love Miley, and know who she is. "She has a show on the Disney Channel called Hannah Montana, and games on Disney.com," she said.

It's the work that Miley has done that has garnered her legions of young female fans. Miley herself may be young, but it's obvious she loves what she does,and fearlessly embraces new creative directions, as is obvious in her new album.

With "Breakout" she declares her artistic independence, unlike her previous CD, half of which featured her performing as Hannah Montana. This time this project is 100 percent Miley, having co-wrote eight of the album's 13 songs.

She has a debut single in "7 Things," which establishes her rock roots. Co-written with Antonina Armato and Tim James, the song is a pounding rebuke of faithless love, seen through the eyes of an angst ridden teen, something teenagers can relate to. Miley can also take the tempo fast and furious, heartbreaking and upbeat, gently pulsing and fun and freaky.

Miley is the daughter of country music superstar/actor Billy Ray Cyrus. As a 12-year-old, she auditioned for the title role of "Hannah Montana." At the time she was considered too young for the part, but she pressed ahead and two years later won the part, and her ascent to super-stardom began.

In November 2006, the first "Hannah Montana" soundtrack came out on Walt Disney Records featuring eight songs performed by Miley as Hannah Montana, and with young fans like Chelsea Tynes, the album shot to the top of the charts and became the first television soundtrack to debut at number one on the Billboard Top 200, and she hasn't looked back. In 2007 it was her two-disc set "Hannah Montana 2: Meet Miley Cyrus", and she has filmed "Hannah Montana: The Movie." All projects which Miley's young fans have eagerly supported.

With Miley coming to town, young fans want their parents to shell out the bucks for them to see her live. There is a special block for locals for this affair, and non-hotel residents can purchase tickets from the box office in the convention center between the Coral and Beach Towers. Tickets are $225 for all ages with box hours from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. today and 10 a.m. to 10 p.m. on the day of the concert.

Atlantis also has Cyndi Lauper booked for Saturday, May 23, with ticket prices yet to be announced. Reba McEntire is on the schedule for Friday, July 3 with tickets priced at $125

Anyway... AMAZING show. She has so much energy :) The place was packed, mostly teenagers but there were also a lot of older people from the hotel. Setlist included songs from HM2 and Breakout and a couple from HMTM. Great time!"
