Were Miley and Selena ever really "friends" when Nick started dating Selena? They worked together and saw each other at Disney events, but I don't recall hearing about them hanging out at each other's houses and stuff.

no. literally everyone entertainment site and news program siad they were. personallly I think they were. there were some adorable pics of the two of them from august. they genuinely seemed like they were dating. it probably didn't last more then 3 or 4 weeks but they were cute.
