i'll summarize what i felt when i watched the movie: its like an extended episode of the Hannah Montana TV show with a lot more heart, new songs, higher picture & audio quality (i gotta shoe this in, MAKE HANNAH IN HD!) and unbelievable scenarios which i'll touch upon the spoiler laden part of this post. Miley/Hannah fans should definitely see this movie!

And now to the spoiler laden part of the post. in order to protect the people who have not seen this must-see movie, i'll be using the spoiler tag.

I gotta put this before anything else, would you think the hundreds of people at the fundraiser will keep the Hannah Secret after she pulls her wig off and explains she is Miley? What, pay them all money and/or let them all sign NDAs (Non-Disclosure Agreements) legally and they can chase that person down if they determine he/she told the rest what happened? In the age of text/picture messaging, twitter, mobile web, justjarred, ET, E! news, would you think it will be possible? And the pap news reporter is the only one with a cameraphone, C'mon! That was the only part of the movie i did not like, but i liked the part where he quits being the pap reporter on the spot, infront of her daughters who (naturally) don't know Hannah is Miley. It symbolizes media not feeding negative info to the sleezeballs to people/websites which recently should not be mentioned ;)

The Legend of Hannah lives on! And yes, i'm aware its a movie. We can exaggerate.

Storywise, its is of discovering yourself and because "Hannah" became Big-headed in some way in Los Angeles, she was "exiled" back to Tennessee where she met her childhood friend, learned farming again and almost quit being hannah.

My favorite scenes were the rapid switching of Miley/Hannah at the Mayor's reception dinner & date at the restaurant with Lucas' character because the following scene at the revolving doors, it should have been heartbreaking for all the characters involved, amazing! I was waiting to see what is the aftermath of that scene.

Then, the song number of "The Climb" at the end of the film, Amazing!

And Then, the scene where she ponders in her room, looking at a picture of young Miley Stewart and Mom. I felt sad inside too.

And finally the numerous close-ups of Miley Herself. Likey-Likey

Look out for Brandi & Noah at the "Hoedown Throwdown" dance scene, and i think i saw mammie too, not sure. When Will Brandi have a speaking line in Hannah Montana, she has a nice voice BTW :)

The scene were Miley And Billy Ray's were signing BFA, that was cute and touching.

Technically speaking, sound mixing and the placement of the surround sounds were excellent, dialog was clear and the music scenes sounded fantastic. The cinematography in TN could use a little more town shots and it felt like you are lost if you were there, if not, failed to capture the essence of the place IMHO or the projection at the movie theater i went to was out of whack since i think my HDTV with a DVD is better than the presentation they had!

Little tidbits, How did Rascal flatts and Taylor Swift show up in the movie? The school Miley and Lilly went in the movie was better than the one on TV, The lady editor who wishes to find out Miley's secret felt like it was perez (whoops! can't resist!). The "fight" scene between Miley and tyra were epic! And a lot of times in the Los Angeles Scenes, it felt real with the concert and the music video shoot down to the paps and fans.

after all of this, i highly recommend this movie to All Miley fans! Again a must see and this movie is not an end to the series unlike the Lizzie Mcguire did, in "style" (went to Rome? C'mon!)

Discuss!

Addenum: I need to mention the crowd at the local theater. It was eerie silent. There was not sing-along or dancing in the songs, but laughs are abundant. The audience consists of mostly young girls with parents.

And most of the movies that will come out this summer are in 3D, based on the previews they previewed before. Nice way for us to go back to the theaters since we don't have that tech at home to display full color 3D like the BOBW concert movie did. Yet.

i just saw the movie on the web and.....

where is Mitchel? you only saw him at that birtday party for Liley. He is a big charachter in Miley's secret life? He was the second person Miley told about her Hannah Secret.
He should be there at the end of movie, but also between the movie ( relation ship problems, helping out in a few situations )
Thats so far what sucked.
But the for the rest is was awsome! Loved the BFF part, very touching. And the part where Travis found out the secret.

Thanks for pointing that out!

If Oliver is to be in the movie, i would like to remove the publicist. There is no Publicist in the TV show! Its only Robby Ray Stewart who manages her, nobody else. That's Why Miley Stewart got into trouble in the story in the first place, because of the publicist, she should be the villain!
