and I get your point flute and I kind of agree but wanting or not using or not Miley was the one that pointed this direction for Mandy... she is the one who heard of this project and thought Mandy was perfect for it, so ever since the beginning Miley was involved in this wanting or not... I do understand your opinion though, but even before the beach girls began Miley was 'advertising' them on the Miley and Mandy Show and stuff so yeah they're gonna be linked to Miley anyways and will have a part on her fanbase...
I think the reason people posted it here is because some people like Mandy and The Beach Girls too here so for the ones that like them is their chance to vote... for the ones who don't then oh well they won't vote anyways, Mandy didn't ask for votes and neither did Miley.

Flute... like I said I understand your point of view and I realize it's off topic too, I never said anything against that.

I know what you mean yes... and you want Mandy to do this on her own, and I agree with some other stuff that she is advertised by Miley but not this... Mandy didn't tell people to vote for her for this particular thing, she didn't do a video or anything.. the fans are the people that post this stuff, and it makes Mandy seem like is using Miley. I know that applies sometimes to what she herself does.. but not this time I don't think, she didn't ask for votes for this or anything.
See a lot of Miley fans like Mandy too, and some fans like her not only because of Miley but also like Mandy the person, that's why they want to support the beach girls I guess... and since the project kinda has Miley involved people want to share with Miley fans, therefore in the Miley forum.
I don't think it's right, I also think it's off topic and not Miley related and shouldn't be posted in this particular section but I hope I could get my point accross about the using Miley thing.
But yeah I guess this is the place people find to talk about Mandy too because she's Miley's best friend, Idk.

some of us like mandy because of the person she is. sure, miley "introduced" us to her or whatever..but we can make our own judgments. i love mandy because of her personality. she seems really sweet and funny. not to mention crazy. plus, she's been with miley (and i'm not speaking professionally) for 2-3 years now. miley has expressed many many times that mandy means a lot to her. she was there for her during all the crap. so yeah, we do like her because she's "miley's friend". sure, we're getting to see more of her because of the videos of miley. but that's because they're friends. but she's not just that. we can make our own judgments of her and decide for ourselves. no one is pushing this on us.

but with that said, i understand everyone else's viewpoints. i don't really see a problem with it posted here, honestly. maybe didn't deserve it's own thread, but maybe in the Miley and Mandy video threads we've been having recently. it's still in the miley forums because, whether anyone likes it or not (including mandy), she's going to be connected to miley for a long time. but the thing is..she's proven herself to be a true and genuine friend. she hasn't sold stories to magazines. miley wrote about their strong relationship in her book. she's proven herself over and over again that she's not just using miley. and that takes times to prove. it's not immediate. she hasn't gone around telling people "hey i'm mileys best friend!". sure, the topic comes up, but she doesn't initiate it. same with trace. he's doing his own thing..but people always group him with miley. where's the "this doesn't belong here!" to the thread about trace being a on a tv show? it didn't have anything to do with miey, but no one had a problem with it.

Um yes I started being a Mandy fan after seeing her being best friends with Miley for years, that got me to like her and I saw that she has an awesome personality and she's funny and most of all she has always been there for Miley when she needed and when she didn't need as well, she has helped Miley through a lot... but no, if they stop being friends I won't stop being a Mandy fan, because I like Mandy the person too, not just Mandy Miley's best friend... I doubt that's going to happen anyways.
Unless Mandy did something for me to not like her anymore, then that's a different thing.

and well being completely honest, I find it unfair and almost hypocritical that because Mandy isn't famous we can't like her because "she is nothing but Miley Cyrus' best friend" and that applies to other people as well.
Miley wasn't famous one day and she got where she wanted by fighting for it... that also happens with other people that want to get in this business, but no because they're not famous we can't like them too... unfair to be comparing, they're all people. to be honest things about her myspace (which are only updates by the way) are only posted when it has to do with Miley. It's always about them both going to eat out or go shopping or something.. it always has to do with both of them because we'll get candids of them. I have never seen stuff about her myspace posted here that's only about her.

well I have. its not like there own threads but Mandy will say something on her myspace that had nothing to do with Miley and people post them in already exisiting thread that had nothing to even do with Mandy to begin with.
its just I think people need to keep in mind that not everyone on here is a huge Mandy fan. I don't mind her either way, and I love the Miley and Mandy show but if it doesn't have to do with that a lot of people on here could careless about Mandy. as mean as that sounds.
