You're Christian, but not like Protestant or Baptist or Lutheran or something.
You're just a Christian.

It's a Christian that isn't a specific denomination...like they aren't Baptist, Catholic, etc.
They're just Christian.

i go to an episcopalian church but i don't neccesarily associate myself with every single one of their beliefs

I'd say agnostic is probably the best way to explain what I am.
Like I honestly do believe that there's some kind of higher power out there, just none of the Gods or things like that that most common religions refer to.

Protestantism just refers to a group of Churches that formed in the 16th Century after the seperation from the Roman Catholic Church. Lutheranism is probably the most common Protestant church because it was Martin Luther who led the opposition. I've gone to a Lutheran church my whole life.

My mum is roman catholic and my dad is Jewish, and they wanted me to decide for myself but I never really saw the need too.

my family is pretty chill with our beliefs. we celebrate christian holidays like easter and
christmas, but we don't go to church or are religious in any other form.
my brother however, is a raging atheist. (for all the wrong reasons, imo, though)

lol Yes, I'm allowed to dance... and go to DisneyWorld! xD (which is
another Baptist thing I heard of).
My church isn't as strict as other Southern Baptist churches.
Like... I don't have to wear dresses or skirts to go there, or anything like
that. It's personal choice. I know a girl who wears skirts all the time,
though.
But that's hilarious. I was talking about that with my mom today. :P
Our church actually kind of makes fun of that... I love my church.

So...you're an agnostic?
That would be more atheist, but just a commemoration to holidays. Agnosticism is based around fundamental lack of evidence as per God's existence, believe or not believe. It's an objective viewpoint.

Yeah, I was contemplating which one it would be. Atheists usually affirm that there is no God, instead of just saying "I don't believe in one". Though I see how an argument could be made either way.

Oh, not the skirt thing. The dancing thing.
I get the skirt thing, I tried doing that but realized it wasn't the thing for
me. I think it's really cool people do it. (:
I was talking about the dancing and the Disney thing.
I guess it could be kind of offensive, but we're just joking. And we respect
their choice.
