That's just the way they take it. I don't really get it either, but sometimes past relationships can hurt and maybe they don't want to make it public.

Thats exactly why they won't last if thats the case. Kevin is already 21 what happens when he wants to settle down and get married. If they want to last they're going to have to make it about the music and not about the fangirls.

Kevin doesn't seem cool with the fact that he is the "other one" and all of a sudden they have changed the meaning of their purity rings. They said the media took it out of context....it took them a soild two years to clear that one up :33:. It just means that they are "gentlemen" and have "respect" for girls and want to make their mom proud. I think that was their exact words in the interview. They did another interview not long ago saying that the media took the whole purity ring thing out of context. What I gather from that is:
"we don't actually care about what the rings mean anymore we were just using them for our image and to seem like good role models. But now that we are the laughing stock of Hollywood and known for our lack of sex, we are going to make a press release blaming the media and saying that we are allowed to bang our girlfriends because we have respect for them"
