Ok some of you know I'm in my school choir. Well for assembly we had to sing for our ex-prime minister's daughter most people don't know is that her daughter is one of my friends. So, anyways we had to sing Heal the World by Michael Jackson and We are the World. So our choir director gave me the first 4 lines of the first verse as a solo part;
"There's a place in your heart,
And I know that it is love.
And the place could be,
Much brighter than tomorrow."
So I was kind of the first Form 1 (first year of Secondary) to get a solo part for choir. So anyways, two other girls who are my 'friends' one of them we hated each other since we were 5 who stole my best friend and is kinda nice to me and the another girl who is a female dog and is only nice to my face. Well they were both really jealous (no kidding, they said it to my face). So, they started complaining to all the other members of the choir saying things like, "Its not fair, Erina gets all the solo's" (Not true, this is only the 2nd time and the first was even really considered a solo) and "Erina is a horrible singer, I deserve that solo" (Yeah, she thinks she deserves it when she skips so many of the practices) but let me tell you its just 4 LINES, not a big deal. But I kicked but on those 4 lines (seriously everyone who knew me said I was great, even the crazy History teacher who hates me) , thanks to the support of the president of the choir (my friends older sister) , one of the 3rd form choir members and of course our choir director and Head of Performing Arts. So yeah, can you believe all this drama happened over 4 lines? ; )
