do you ski or snowboard?

kay so i'm wondering, how many of you ski or snowboard?
if you have, where have you been, which was best, and where would you like to go?
do you do it often? you do really like it?
if you haven't, would you like to try?


as for me, i've been skiing for 10 years and i flooove it.
i've been skiing in canada, montana, switzerland, pennsylvania, new york, california, vermont, new hampshire, and france.
my favorite has probably been the mountain Big Sky, in montana, or Lake Taho, in California.
my family went to Chile in the summer (winter there) while i was at camp because my dad had to go there for business and they skiid there and said it was awesome, so that's something i'd like to try.
and i also want to go to buttermilk mountain on colorado and ski near salt lake city in Utah

I've never been skiing or snowboarding.
I figure that since I'm horrible at any sport in the world (even including sledding), that
going fast down a hill on slippery things would not be a good idea.

What places have you been to in upstate New York?
Because I live in upstate New York, and places around here are the only places I've been skiing. I absolutely LOVE to ski, I go every week during the winter.

do you do it often? you do really like it? every saturday, or whenever we want to. i love it there.

I ski too, but I do my skiing in the rocky mountains. Winter park, keystone, breckinridge, utah, and oregon.

you know what i kinda hated? cross-country skiing
i did it in Yellowstone National Park so of course it was beautiful and the overall experience was totally worth it but the "skiing" itself sucked

I snowboard, ive been doing it for about 8 years.
I usually go in Vermont, sometimes in Mass, New York, or Montreal
I like going to Butternut in Vermont, but i would love to go out west somewhere
I go every weekend with my 2 friends, and i loooovee it

I do cross-country skiing andd slalom :)

I love it, and its like only 20 min. to drive to ski
in the mountains : D

i just came back from state finals in marquette cuz im on my school's ski team.
ive been skiing for 9 years and before this year i had only been to small places around here.
So far I've skiied Marquette Mountain, Boyne Mountain, Boyne Highlands, and Nub's Nob, which are amazing in comparison to the small places you find around here.
its like one of my favorite things...minus the tuning my skis part. and since im on the ski team i ski pretty much everyday for 2 and a half months until the seasons over.
