where do you want to live?

well lately i've been thinking about the future.
i mean i'm still young and have time to plan these things out.
but i've been thinking about where i want to go when i'm older. because really i hate my home and my life here so much and i can't wait to get away. college is something i am looking forward to with all my heart for so many reasons. you really have no idea. but something i've noticed is that *most* (not all) people want the oppisite of what they have now. i live in a small suburban town on the east coast. and i want nothing more than to leave. i have no idea where yet but a lot of the places i've seriously thought about living in are definitely not small towns on the east coast. ;) i think i might be one of those people who are always moving. because frankly, change likes me and i like it back. and i don't think i am meant to be in the same place for too long. so i won't. but one of the places i REALLY want to live in is chicago for so many reasons. a lot of the best bands come from chicago haha. and i am very much attracted to cities. i also want to live in new york city for a while. again with the cities. i might go to boston for a while but i'm not sure about that because i really don't like massachusetts. another place (east coast) i want to live in is maine or new hampshire because it's really beautiful there. my dad had a waterfall obsession for a while (after sailing obsession) and dragged us around to all the waterfalls in new england and it was really beautiful and i might want to be in a place like that for a while. i also really want to go to california (WEST COAST, YEAH!) in both a beachy area and a more urban area. i would love living in australia but that's just dreaming, really. i want to live somewhere warm for a while. i want to live somewhere "naturey" and really beautiful. i want to live near the sea. i want to live in cities. i want to leave massachusetts. also i want to travel and visit places all over the world like my mom's cousin does. i want a lot of things. if anyone actually read this i love you.

Well my parents and I have decided that when I am famous, we will still have our house
in Vermont, because Vermont>anywhere else, and frankly I hate the heat so I'd either
want a portable air conditioner with me at all times, or I wouldn't be able to live in a
warm area.
That nixes LA as our permanent residence. :P

But yea, I think I'll always stay on the east coast. I already know where I'm going to
college, and the job I'll have (if I choose not to pursue singing) means I can do what
I want from anywhere, as long as there is internet.

Plus I am super paranoid so I can't live in big cities.

I've always felt a real attraction to New York City, and I know that I DEFINITELY want to live there.
I need seasons, I couldn't handle it being just hot or just cold all the time. I absolutely love winter, but I wouldn't want it to be winter all year long.

I feel the need to live in the east coast, it's just where I belong. Though it would be cool to travel to the west coast, maybe live there for a year or two. My dad loves Portland, Oregon and says that it's one of his favorite cities, so I've always wanted to go there.

fortunately for me, my family is very close and tight-knit, so when i go to college is probably the only time i'll be away from my family, even the extended ones [cousins, aunts, uncles, grandparents]. we always meet every sunday at my grandparents house just to visit.
and when i get my own house, it'll probably be around here. [unless my crazy dream of being a country singer comes true, but thats only just a crazy dream ive had since i was like, 2]

New York City is amazing! I used to live in NY (not in the city) and it always had something going on! People sell purses and stuff on the sidewalks and newspapers and food (YUM food!). :P One bad thing, there's alot of smoke because, there's always construction and street fixings and thus, lots of smoke. That is the only I don't like. And the traffic and bad driving. It's sometimes really hard to get to places so, it's easier to walk.
