lol ITILY wasn't harmonized on her part. take away john and it would sound okay. take away miley and it wouldn't sound right..because john's harmonizing. same with RSDG. there's nothing wrong with not being able to harmonize. maybe they just haven't given her the chance to yet. but everytime she sings with someone else, they harmonize to her voice. if you take away their vocals, miley's part would sound like a normal song.

i hope they do harmonize though. it would be cool to hear it.

actually Miley did do a little bit of harmoney on ITILY, which was surprising because the girl usually doesn't do the harmony in a boy-girl duet.
as for this song, if they harmonize it will be Miley and not Taylor. Miley's got the lower voice and the lower voice usually does the harmony in a duet.

yep. not on RSDG but ITILY definately. Also on Just Stand Up. Miley was the harmony. She many have overpowered the other girls because of the kid of voice she has but she was doing harmony. Miley can definately harmonize.

there isnt any harmonies. the natural blending of voices in JSU isn't harmony. it's like church. everyone sounds good. because they aren't harmonizing. it's just a bunch of different voices. there is no harmony in ITILY.

Just Stand up is not just blending of the voices, they're not hitting the same notes just in different octaves(thats what your talking about, right?). It may not be easy to hear but JSU has harmonies and Miley is one of the ones singing is.

well considering the song was written about Taylor's freshman year of HS, it fits Taylor quiet well too, lol.

even when Miley's having a bad night, shes still better vocally then an average Taylor vocal performance. if they're both great Miley will still kick her vocally. thats my concern. Miley so much more signifigantly better then Taylor that I just hope Taylor has a great performance. Miley's a lot more conisistant then Taylor though so I just hope Taylor has a fablous night.

actually Taylor has this rep for being horrible live and everytime i've heard her sing live shes flat. Miley is much more consistant. as long as Taylor's on key I think we'll be good.

I just rewatched Taylor's performances on Saturday Night Live, they do sound good but there is a lack of volume. I still can't imagine how the two would sound together. Using tricks like turning down micrphones would just make it sound bad honestly.

i have never really heard taylor sing live, cause im not a fan, but of what i have heard of her she doesn't sound that strong, Miley has a deeper voice and a much more fuller voice and i think Miley will already sing louder just because she has a deeper voice and she can hold it very long

Taylor has a real problem with breath control. I hear it every time. She's a shallow breather. I'm thinking she's breathing from the throat. Miley breathes from the diaphragm. She can hold notes and creates some really nice phrasing. Taylor, shallow breather. That's why she goes flat so much I think. Miley can go flat too, but that's because she runs around like a chicken with her head cut off. lol. Taylor has no such excuse. I think if someone teachers her how to breathe better, she could get better.
