The coverage of Miley lately has been overwhelming to me. After seeing the over the top crush of humanity on her at the Americana I'm having issues with her life in a fishbowl. It's hard to explain. A lot of famous people have snapped with even less paparazzi, Miley has been followed by this many people before and she never snapped. I don't think that's the motivation for them at all. Paps don't want to hurt Miley. It is not their intent at all. Trust me, I've met them and talked to them. They get very hyped up and whoop and holler at her, but it's not with malicious intent. Video paps, like TMZ might throw out some incongruous statements or questions, but all she has to do is ignore them.
As hard as it is, the best thing to do is ignore them.
We want to throw punches to protect her -but remember - they are only wielding cameras. They aren't the ones to be running from.
Mob mentality comes into play here. What are the odds that many Miley fans happen to be there at Americana? I think most just see this as an opportunity to act out by following her around and shouting things.

Those paps in the vid were in violation of the rules, especially when she was already in the car or about to get in. At all times there is supposed to be a certain amount of distance, I can't remember what it is. When they are in motion I can understand how it would be hard to keep the correct distance, but when she's already in the car or not moving they need to get back. That was about as bad as I've seen it in a long time and a lot of those faces were new. The problem I have is when there is that many and they are new, you don't know who is legit and who isn't.
The freelancers are dangerous to me - the newcomers are dangerous cause they don't know the rules. That's what happens when you get newbie paps, they get too close.
And there's always the thought in the back of my mind that one could just be posing as a pap to get close.

Some stores don't have mirrors or good lightling in the dressing rooms which makes you go out to see the clothes. I'm hoping she didn't realize she was showing. We've seen it at the nail salon, we've seen it at other stores. Even if there was legislation it couldn't be enforced all the time. It's not true that there was a pap in the dressing room! How would this commenter even know - they weren't there. We saw it on the pap vid, she came out to look for few seconds and the shot was taken from outside through the window. It's nothing new. I think other stores are fine but clothing stores, dressing rooms are not.

yeah that would be the case if the gossip sites were actually reporting this as her trying on clothes, but some of them are not.
