First Tutorial - Mary Kate/Ashley Olsen. =)

Going from this (http://i252.photobucket.com/albums/hh5/lostinspace_x/errawrtut-1-base.png) -> to this (http://i252.photobucket.com/albums/hh5/lostinspace_x/errawrtut-1-outcome.png)

oo1 - Take your base. I always copy it and set it to screen, adjusting the opacity. Sometimes I even sharpen it. (You can sharpen it now or just wait to sharpen it later/at the end). But this time, I just copied my base, set it to screen and left it at 100% opacity. ;)

oo2 - Copy your base again, desaturate it and set it to softlight, again at 100% opacity.

oo3 - To add a little more color to it, I opened a new Hue/Saturation layer and followed these settings:

Master: 0, +13, 0

And then clicked OK. =)

So far, so good? Okay, then. =D Let's continue, shall we? =]

oo4 - Cooling the coloring down a little bit, I added a new Selective Color layer and followed these settings:
(make sure the method is set on RELATIVE before you continue, okay? =])

Reds: -20, -20, -20, +30
Yellows: -20, +5, 0, +10
Neutrals: +9, -9, -19, +20

And then clicked OK. =)

oo5 - Happy with my now cool yet vibrant and colorful coloring, I moved on to the next layer, which was another Hue/Saturation layer. The settings were:

Yellows: 0, +20, 0

And then I clicked OK. =)

oo6 - I made this step a Curves layer. It's too tricky for even me to understand, so I'll just give you the .PSD file for you to drag onto your picture/icon/graphic. =] [link (http://www.mediafire.com/download.php?dmmmqklohzy)]

oo7 - Okay, this is the end! D: Just stamp it and you're done! :D
I also copied the stamp [to stamp, just type and hold all of the letters together. First, you have to select all of the file, just type and hold "CTRL + A" on your keyboard and then type and hold "CTRL + SHIFT + ALT + E". It's really kind of hard at the beginning, but if you get used to it and use Photoshop and stamp your stuff at the end A LOTTTTTTTTTTTT (I would usually say A LOAD, but it's not necessary. Just "A LOTTTTTTTTTTTT" is okay for this tutorial. :P)] and sharpened it, keeping it set on Normal at 10% opacity. =]

AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAND YOU'RE DONE! =D
It's a simple, easy, natural-looking 7-step tutorial and you can use it anytime. =]

OK, this is simpler. Because I don't want to make it all fancy :P
I'll edit it later like tomorrow to make in fancier (:
;)

From this (http://i252.photobucket.com/albums/hh5/lostinspace_x/shinebycupcake-base.png) to this (http://i252.photobucket.com/albums/hh5/lostinspace_x/shinebycupcake-outcome.png).

I Prep your base. I didn't do anything to it.

II Since Selective Coloring, CURVESSS & Levels are my life, make a new Levels layer with the following settings [and set it to Soft Light @ 100% opacity]:

Settings I
RGB: Input: 16, 1.15, 255. Output: 0, 255.
Red: Input: 35, 1.68, 255. Output: 0, 255.
Green: Input: 0, 1.00, 255. Output: 0, 255.
Blue: Input: 34, 1.65, 255. Output: 0, 255.

& click OK.

III Make a new Hue & Saturation layer, and set it to Saturation, @ 100% opacity. Settings:

Settings II
Reds: 0, -7, 0.
Yellows: 0, +9, 0.
Cyans: 0, +23, 0.

& click OK.

IV Make a new Fill Layer and fill it with a really dark brown. Any brown will do, if your image looks OK. I used #271a0b, and set it to Soft Light @ 57% opacity.

V Create a new Color Balance layer & keep it to Normal @ 100% opacity. :P Settings:

Settings III
Midtones: -28, +1, +4.
Shadows: 0, 0, 0.
Highlights: -1, +20, +34.

& click OK.

VI Make a new Channel Mixer layer and adjust the layer to these settings:

Settings IV
Red: +102, -12, +9.
Green: 0, 0, 0.
Blue: +1, +4, +96.

& click OK.

VII Make another Fill Layer and fill it with another dark brown. Again, according to your base, the dark brown color varies. I used #241605, and set it to Exclusion @ 100% opacity.

VIII Now, make yet ANOTHER Fill Layer and this time, fill it with a light pink-y color. Once AGAIN, according to your base, the light pink-y color varies. I used #fde6e6 and set it to Multiply @ 100% opacity.

IX Okay, so, now comes the tricky part. Stamp your image (Ctrl + Shift + Alt + E) and set it to Screen @ 50% opacity. Stamp your image again (once again, Ctrl + Shift + Alt +E) and this time, set it to Soft Light @ 26% opacity.

X Make the (I swear. wait for itttt...) LASTTT Fill Layer with the LASTTT dark brown color. Again again, it depends on your image and blah blah blah. I used #0f0000 and set it to Exclusion @ 100% opacity. Her face is blue. Oh yay. I erased the blue off of her face and neck.

XI I stamped it again, and that's the end of this tutorial[:

I'll upload the .PSD tomorrow, I promise. ;]
