Hey! Decided to make a tutorials thread and put
some stuff in here. You can request something by replying
with one of my graphics and saying what it is about that
graphic you would like to learn.
I use Corel PSP XI, so my tutorials will work best with
that program or other versions of that program. Some
may be transferable to Photoshop or other programs, but
I wouldn't know.
Enjoy!

Demi Lovato Coloring Tutorial
Just some coloring I came up with. If you have any questions,
feel free to ask ;)
Step One;
Paste this (http://i172.photobucket.com/albums/w38/SupaStaRrMiley92/MORE%20GRAPHIXX/demicoloringb4.png) image into your program. I
already duplicated the base and set it to hard light at a low opacity so if you're trying
with a different picture then keep this in mind ;) Time for new layers!
Color Balance-
midtones: -27 8 8
shadows: -24 -39 -18
Step Two;
Channel Mixer
Red:
red 130 green 0 blue 0
Blue:
blue 112 green 0 red 0
Step Three;
Curves-
input 110
output 158
Step Four;
Duplicate the base layer and drag it to
the top. Set it to burn at 5 opacity.
Step Five;
Fill new raster layer with #000080. Set to
Hard Light at 15 opacity.
Step Six;
Hue/Saturation/Lightness-
Hue: 9
Saturation: -2
Step Seven;
Duplicate the base layer and drag
to the top. Go to effects>photo effects>black&white film.
Set the opacity to 24.
Step Eight;
Channel Mixer-
Red:
red 110 green -21 blue 0
Now you're done! The
final product should look like this:

Requested Blend Tutorial 01
Here's a request! Hope you all like it ;)
Step One;
Start with a blank canvas 500x300 (or something around that size).
Paste this picture (http://www.taylorpictures.net/albums/userpics/10001/taylorweb02%7E30.jpg) into the canvas and use the pick tool (2nd down on the left
toolbar) to center it. Color it the way you like it.
Step Two;
Go to layers>new raster layer. Then use the fill tool (7th up from bottom and
looks like a paint can) to fill the layer with black. Use your rectangular
selection tool (feather=100) and make a selection like so (http://i172.photobucket.com/albums/w38/SupaStaRrMiley92/Tutorialzz/taylor1.png). Hit delete about 2
or 3 times. Lower the opacity of the layer just a tad (to about 95).
Step Three; Put on these brushes along the edges.
http://i172.photobucket.com/albums/w38/SupaStaRrMiley92/brushes/brush7.png
http://i172.photobucket.com/albums/w38/SupaStaRrMiley92/brushes/brush6.png
http://i172.photobucket.com/albums/w38/SupaStaRrMiley92/brushes/brush1-1.png
Step Four;
Put on some text. Then go to effects>3D effects>drop shadow.
Set both of the offsets to 0 and adjust the opacity to however
you want it. Hit enter. Place the text wherever you want.
Step Five;
Go to image>add borders. Set the border to 3 (on all sides)
with a white color. Hit enter.
Step Six;
Repeat step five but with a border of 1 (and black).
You're done!
Final Product;;

Glad you all like it! and that one turned out good, FairyTale92!
I'm not sure how to do the borders on Photoshop cuz I haven't really used it that much. You could probably look at other tutorial threads by people who use photoshop, but I wouldn't be the person to ask. sorry about that =/
if any of you have other questions, feel free to ask ;)

^thats not bad at all! all i can add that i think might make a difference is that theres too much black on it so you can lower the feather just a tad or hit delete a few more times.

http://i172.photobucket.com/albums/w38/SupaStaRrMiley92/MORE%20GRAPHIXX/demicoloring2.png
This is a pretty easy coloring to do on Corel PSP XI, but I'm sure
it can be transferred to other programs. So anyways let's get started.
--Step One--
Paste this (http://i172.photobucket.com/albums/w38/SupaStaRrMiley92/MORE%20GRAPHIXX/demicoloring2before.png) picture into your program.
--Step Two--
Go to layers>new raster layer. Get the fill tool (looks like a paint
bucket) and fill the new layer with #bfe8f5. Set to soft light
100% opacity.
--Step Three--
Go to layers>new adjustment layer>color balance.
Put in these numbers:
-21 -7 -5
--Step Four--
Go to layers>new adjustment layer>hue/saturation/lightness.
Hue: 0
Saturation: 39
Lightness: 0
--Step Five--
Right click on the last layer you made and go to duplicate.
--Step Six--
Go to layers>new adjustment layer>color balance.
Put in these numbers:
50 -13 -5
--Step Seven--
Go to layers>new adjustment layer>hue/saturation/lightness.
Hue: 0
Saturation: 13
Lightness: 0
--Step Eight--
Merge all the layers (right click on any layer then go to
merge>merge all (flatten)
--Step Nine--
Duplicate the base layer. Set the duplicated layer to burn
at 20 opacity. Merge the layers.
--Step Ten--
Duplicate the base layer. Set the duplicated layer to
exclusion at 21 opacity. merge the layers and you're done!
Hope this helped! Please post your results :D I'd love to see them.

http://i172.photobucket.com/albums/w38/SupaStaRrMiley92/MORE%20GRAPHIXX/mileycoloring01.png
Once again another pretty easy coloring to figure out. I really
like this coloring on pictures that have turquoises and tans, it
really brings out the colors.
--Step One--
Paste this (http://i172.photobucket.com/albums/w38/SupaStaRrMiley92/MORE%20GRAPHIXX/mileycoloringbefore.png) picture into your program. Right click and
duplicate the base layer. Set the new layer to screen at 50 opacity.
--Step Two--
Go to layers>new adjustment layer>hue/saturation/lightness.
Hue: 0
Saturation: 41
Lightness: 0
--Step Three--
Go to layers>new adjustment layer>color balance.
Put in these numbers:
-35 1 10
--Step Four--
Go to layers>new raster layer. Fill the new layer with #f6e5d0.
Set the layer to multiply at 100 opacity.
--Step Five--
Go to layers>new adjustment layer>color balance.
Put in these numbers:
-49 -10 10
--Step Six--
Go to layers>new adjustment layer>hue/saturation/lightness.
Hue: 0
Saturation: 26
Lightness: 0
--Step Seven--
Duplicate the base layer (the very first layer) and drag it to the top.
Set to normal at 40 opacity. Now you're done!
Please post your results! If you have any questions, feel free to ask.

Miley Cyrus Blend Tutorial
Today we'll be learning how to make this blend.
http://i172.photobucket.com/albums/w38/SupaStaRrMiley92/MORE%20GRAPHIXX/mileyblendie60.png
Remember if you don't use the pictures i provide, the
pictures have to have a white background.
--Step One--
First, open a blank canvas 600x400 pixels. Paste this (http://mileyfansgallery.com/displayimage.php?album=1386&pos=4)
picture onto your canvas. It should be perfectly centered
once it's pasted. After you paste the image on, take the
dropper tool (looks like an eye dropper) and select one of the
darker colors along the edge of the picture you just pasted
on. Select the bottom layer (the blank layer) and fill
it with the color you just got with the dropper tool. Take the
selection tool (feather tool) and set the feather to about 67
(a relatively low feather. they differentiate based on your
program) then delete the edges of your center picture to make
it look contiguous. Merge the layers. It should look like this (http://i172.photobucket.com/albums/w38/SupaStaRrMiley92/MORE%20GRAPHIXX/mileyblendtutorial1.png).
--Step Two--
Color the center picture. I used my first coloring tutorial
to color the picture. It should now look like this (http://i172.photobucket.com/albums/w38/SupaStaRrMiley92/MORE%20GRAPHIXX/mileyblendtutorial2edit.png).
If you do use that coloring tutorial, skip the 5th step
--Step Three--
Now that you've colored your pictures it's time to
start adding the black and white pictures. Paste this (http://mileyfansgallery.com/displayimage.php?album=1386&pos=8)
picture on and drag it over to the right. Go to effects>photo
effects>black and white film. Click okay when the box pops
up. Then right click on the black and white picture and go
to duplicate. Set the new layer to burn at about 11 opacity.
It shouldn't be too dark, just a little bit darker. Then erase all
the parts of the second picture that overlap the center
picture. Merge the layers. It should look like this (http://i172.photobucket.com/albums/w38/SupaStaRrMiley92/MORE%20GRAPHIXX/mileyblendtutorial3.png).
--Step Four--
Repeat step three but with this (http://mileyfansgallery.com/displayimage.php?album=1386&pos=5) picture.
Play with it a bit until the placement looks perfect to you.
Once your done merge the layers again. It should look
like this (http://i172.photobucket.com/albums/w38/SupaStaRrMiley92/MORE%20GRAPHIXX/mileyblendtutorial4.png).
--Step Five--
Now it's time for the starburst effect. Paste this (http://i172.photobucket.com/albums/w38/SupaStaRrMiley92/brushes/spiralbrush.png)
texture on and move it around until it looks right. Set
to darken at a very light opacity (mine was set to 7
opacity). Then use the feather tool with about a
feather of 100 and delete all the parts the cover miley.
It should look like this (http://i172.photobucket.com/albums/w38/SupaStaRrMiley92/MORE%20GRAPHIXX/mileyblendtutorial5.png).
--Step Six--
For the text, I used arial black. Make it relatively large.
To get the effect that i used, make the text white. Then
go to effects>3D effects>drop shadow. Set all the
offsets to 0 and set the opacity to 100. Once you've
put a drop shadow on the text set the text layer to
multiply. You can then adjust the opacity of the layer
until it looks best to you. Then erase the parts of the
text that overlap miley.
--Step Seven--
To top off the picture, go to image>add borders.
Set all the numbers to 1 and make the borders black.
Click okay and you're done!
Please post your results! I'd love to see how they turn out.
If you have any questions, feel free to ask.

http://i172.photobucket.com/albums/w38/SupaStaRrMiley92/MORE%20GRAPHIXX/shoecoloring1.png
This is a pretty simple tutorial, but its an easy way to
change the color of pictures so that something
that was originally silver, like this (http://i172.photobucket.com/albums/w38/SupaStaRrMiley92/MORE%20GRAPHIXX/shoecoloring2.png)
shoe, can look pink (or any other color).
--Step One--
Paste this (http://demipictures.com/displayimage.php?album=707&pos=21) picture into your program. Crop, resize, etc.
--Step Two--
Color the picture however you want. I used this (http://www.mymostwanted.com/forum/showpost.php?p=2832864&postcount=24) coloring.
--Step Three--
Go to layers>new raster layer. Set the new layer to soft
light at about 57 opacity. Then go to the brush tool and
find a circle brush. Pick the color you want to make
the shoe (i used #ff00ff) and paint over the shoe.
You don't have to be too neat with it.
--Step Four--
Zoom in and use the erase tool (use about a size 11 eraser,
relatively small) to touch up the edges and fix mistakes
that you made. Now you're done!

--Step Four--
Duplicate the last layer. Set the opacity of the
duplicated layer to 53.
--Step Five--
