So I know many of us members here have either created a website, have a website, or are looking into making one.


PURPOSE| The purpose of this thread is to get all the information you need about creating your own website whether it be about a fansite, bussiness, or just a personal or graphics site.Also, to get comments about what services are best to help your site.


So I'll start off;
For a fansite what free host do you think is particularly best.I've been researching into this because I am making a Tim Burton Fansite.I was originally planning to sign up with fan-sites.org but found the rules and regulations a bit much, I think is the word I'm looking for.But I decided to go with fansitehost.org because it seemed more friendly and allowing.Now I'm just waiting to be accepted.

So how do you determine which sites are good hosts, and which are scams.

Another question, Cutenews or Wordpress?

well e-fans.net is easy to get
and it has active forums you can use for help and such

im making a gfx design site with them now...and use to have an emma roberts fan site there

hmm..well i have a graphics website, but im not hosted. so i'd suggest for people who dont wanna be hosted right away, make one on freewebs.com

i use e-fans.net too. haha. starszz.com....or .net i forgot is another one.

I have fan-sites.org for my host. Gertie is an amazzzzing host :D

i didnt like gertie when she hosted me, she was very rude and extremely pushy but she has the best deals i guess you could say :P but yeah, she wasnt the nicest person to me

i liked e-fans.net but they run out of space and then once you do theres no one in charge to give you more bw and such
