Prolouge;
White fluff shined outside, as inside the Christmas tree was being decorated. Jacob Forest picked up an ortament, and just as soon, Emily Gibson snatched it. "You have to be careful with that!" She giggled, and carefully placed it on the tree. "It was my momma's." She sighed, thinking about her mother, and how they would always put the Christmas Tree up, and decorate it together. This year, she couldn't, since her mom died on New Year's Eve. She snapped out of her trance, and smiled as her twin sister Tracey, stepped in, hand in hand with Micheal Forest, Jacob's brother. She looked over at Jacob, then looked back at her love-enhanced sister. She rolled her eyes, and placed another ornament on the large bristled tree. Jacob placed his strong hands on her shoulders, and squeezed them. "It'll be ok," He smiled a reassuring smile, talking about what had happened just this year. At that moment she knew, he was right.

Chapter 1. Blushing


He removed his hands, and Emily began to carefully pick up ornaments again.
Her body jumped when she heard the bell ring, and she slowly put the decoration down, swiftly moving towards the door.
"Merry Christmas!" Kelly and Virginia Forest yelled when she opened the door.
"Your back from vacation!" Emily replied to their merriment.
"Yeah! I mean, how could we leave all our friends behind for Christmas?" Kelly asked.
"Very easily. You do it every year," Tracey said, stepping in.
"Yes, but...our flight was cancelled because of the big blizzard in Denver," Virginia stepped into the house, hanging her coat up.
Tracey smiled, satisfacally, and walked back over to Michael.
Kelly stepped inside then, and hung her coat and hat on the hook, then walked into the living room with her sister.
"Wow, it's so... festive!" She lauged, and plopped on the couch.
She grabbed the remote, and flipped on the TV.
"Warm and Fuzzy? I haven't heard that song in years!" Emily squealed, and Jacob came up behind her.
"Well then, Care to dance?" Emily lips formed into a smile, and her cheeks turned brighter than a cherry.
Kelly stood up, and walked by her. As she walked by, she whispered in her ear.
"You're blushing," and she walked out of the room.
The red dissappeared, and she nodded gracefully.
He put out his hand, and she placed hers in his.
They started to twirl, and at the end of the song, he dipped her as low as he could.
He pecked her on the lips, then brought her back up.
The red started to grow on her face, and this time she didn't have Kelly to walk by.

Chapter 2. In Which Everything Went Blank

She quit blushing, but still smiled.
He smiled back at her, then told her he would be back.
He walked over to Michael, and pulled him away from his new attachment.
"Mike, dude, did I just-"
"Yes, can I go back now?"
"No! I want to know what I do now!"
"Just, talk to her, just talk, like you normally do, Can I go back now?"
He sighed. "Go,"
"Thanks dude," Michael said, and walked back into the living room.
"Just talk," He repeated to himself, until he got back over to Emily.
"Hey," He said, "Can we talk?"
