Im confused, it seems like everyone knows of the characters, [not just from the books]. I thought twilight was a book, turned show , turned movie.

Is it just a book and is becoming a movie?
As in ANYONE who hasnt read the books can watch the movie?

its a book.. which has a series.. lol well its one of the books of the series...and they made a movie from it and its coming out soon
its not a show
and u could watch it without reading the book... just like HP
but the movie wont be as good as the book :o cuz of the details and they changed some stuff

Its a series and its being made into a movie just the first book tought, dpeending on how good this movie does they are unsure if they will do the others. but for now its just twilight but they are preparing a script for New Moon.

and even if you cant understand the movie from the books just ask someone from here to sum up what happens in twilight :P

Book made into movie.
I'm sure there will be more movies to follow it too.
Many good movies are based on books, I wouldn't say it's necessary to read the book but you'll probably enjoy the movie more if you know what it's based on and read the book.

yeah i knew the characters' names before i even read the book :o
everywhere you turn its like EDWARD & BELLA FOREVER :P

and alan's right.. it's just like HP... well not the same story but you can watch the movie without reading the book
even though the movie's not gonna be half as good as the book
but you can still see it without reading it :P

Its a book turning into a movie. Just twilight.
Im not sure of the other ones like new moon, eclipse and breaking dawn.
I dont think they will be making movies of those.. and it wouldn't make
sense to be a show if there are only 4 books. Yeah sure, you can still
see the movie if you didn't read the books. But it probably would be better
if you read the books, just to see how well written it is. :P They change
stuff in movies. Its going to be the first movie I see that I have read the
book of. I have seen alot of movies that are from books, I just haven't
bothered to read them.
