Okay, so I'm just curious. I write SOME of my own songs.
I enjoy writing, though I'm not that good at it. Although, you
don't have to write songs to post here. Just say who inspires you.
It can be a movie too.

I am always extremely inspired when I hear Demi Lovato or watch Camp Rock, especially.
In Demi's songs, you can here the passion and love in her voice. I think she has an amazing
voice, and her song 'Don't Forget' is truly amazing!

A lot of people, from a lot of different backgrounds, and in a lot of different ways.

Lyrically? Panic at the Disco and The Academy Is..., and The Rocket Summer (Bryce Avary).
My god, they have such good lyrics. Just the way they phrase their words is brilliant.

Musically? Jack's Mannequin and Relient K. Their melodies are absolutely lovely and diverse, and the key and rhythym changes in their songs show such musical maturity. I wish I could write like that.

Energy? Paramore. I've seen them live, and the energy that Hayley has on stage is freaking fantastic. She's just a little firecracker of energy that never dies out one bit. It's like, impossible to go to one of their shows and be bored. Seriously.

As people? Demi Lovato, Selena Gomez, and Jonas Brothers circa 2006. As cheesy as those all sound, I guess it's mostly because they're all around my age and watching the way they've become successful at this age and still stay grounded is amazing to me. And notice I said "circa 2006." Who the Jonas Brothers USED to be inspires me - they had so much life, so much energy, and were having so much fun without trying to be brilliant musicians or deep or anything like that. Things have changed now but, yeah.

the academy is... - they're pro-obama, they're insanely funny, their music is absolutely phenomenal, william's voice is fantastic, and their lyrics are amazing and witty.
panic at the disco - they're pro-obama, they're hysterical, really down-to-earth, the music is fantabulous, brendon's voice is really unique, and ryan's lyrics are great and very big-wordy.
fall out boy - they're pro-obama, pete writes great lyrics, patrick's voice is f***ing awesome, and they're all really great musicians. plus they support charities which is awesome.
jack's mannequin - their lyrics and music are really amazing. and it's really inspirational how andrew kept going, even when he had cancer.
cobra starship - they're really funny (especially gabe), they're crazy (especially gabe), they've got awesome music, and they're really sweet people.
my brother - he's got the best bad luck ever. he's doing what he loves and he's good at it, even if he's had many experiences where he could've died from it.

Reese Roper (dude in my avitar) is a huge inspiration in my life. All four major bands that he has been in are my favorite bands ever. He has the ability to write songs that make you cry and songs that make you die laughing. Patrick Stump + Pete Wentz (like someone above me said they're inspiring for more that their music.......Pete's lyrics DO inspire me and so does Patrick's voice, but pretty much everything about them makes me want to go do something amazing. :P I know that was cliche.)

I get inspired by a lot of people. Like I think how Demi sings and the way she acts in camp rock is amazing, and it helps me write. Also Taylor swift's songs are so easy to relate to.
