I got these PMs about deleting 3 of my posts because of spam. I have no idea what spam is so can someone tell me so it doesn't happen again? I never intended to but I guess someone reported my posts because of spamming. I'm really confused so can somebody please tell me!


Ps. The FAQs didn't help so I can't search there.

Spam is posting pointless things, that may be off topic or
have nothing to do with the thread.

Oh. But other people do that and they don't have their posts deleted. Can you get banned because of it?

if you continue spamming i think you can be banned.
i think it has happened before......
but anyways spam is just posting things that dont really have anything to do with the topic.
like for say, in the chat thread, that we were talking about school life and you just say randomly:
mooses are for ducks.
or...
i went to the mall today.

so anything like that is spam.

Okay. Why did it have to be me when in the thread about Miley and Tish at a fashion show they were talking about Santa and I asked why they were and I got reported for that! It makes me sick because I know who started that but it wouldn't be fair to report her just to be happy.

no we get our posts deleted too

i believe i have had like 50 posts deleted due to spam

so you are not being singled out

well i don't know if you're banned from it, I'd guess you would be eventually.
but in the chat thread you can basically say anything
because i say random things all the time and never got a post deleted
so yeah just don't post things that arn't with the topic
if you see someone posting spamming just report there post.
you shouldn't reply because then you would be spamming also.

if you feel someone else is spamming and not getting in trouble for it, feel free to report that post so it can be deleted. we can't like stalk every thread in the forum looking for spam, so if you see any please report it ;) we want to keep these threads on topic
