A few drops of sweat fell from Miley's head and hit the stage as she bowed. Roxy watched over her from backstage. Miley raised her head, "Do you like my new look?"

The crowd screamed.

"Thank you so much. I love you all. You were a great audience." She waved and bounced back toward Roxy.

Roxy hugged her. "You were great girl but you need to slow down."

"I'll be fine."

Michael Knight turned his Mustang toward the concert center. The globe in the dash lit up and a red dot shifted to Mike. "What exactly are we doing here Mike?"

"A favor for my old friend Roxy. We served in the military together. She wanted a little extra security for the Hannah Montana concert tonight."

"Hannah Montana." Mike's windshield flicked and up popped images of Hannah singing and dancing. "She's a female pop star and quite popular. Mike why does it sound like a jet engine inside the concert center?"

"That's just the girls. They're excited to see her in person."

"Couldn't they just listen to her CDs at home?"

"It's not the same thing KITT. It's cool to see a singer you like in person."

"This Hannah Montana is quite talented and she's very pretty. I wonder what she's like?"

"You can ask her yourself. I'm pulling up to the exit now. Keep your scanners peeled for any trouble."

Mike opened the door and walked to Roxy. "You look good."

"It's nice to see you again Mike. Hannah's coming out shortly. "

Mike smiled at Miley as she sneaked out. He looked around to see most of the fans had gone.

Miley grinned and giggled at Mike, "Hi there. I'm Hannah Montana what's your name?"

"Um Michael Knight."

"That's a nice name. Knight is an odd last name but it's lovely."

"Well Montana is an odd last name too."

Miley noticed the red scanner flashing on the hood of the Mustang. "Hey is this your car? It's so cool."

"Yeah go ahead and check it out."

Miley walked beside KITT and placed her palm on the hood. The motor reved up and the headlights flickered.

Mike shook his head, "Show off."

The car door popped open. Miley stuck her head inside to see The Best of Both Worlds video playing on the windshield. She sat in the seat, "Hey how does this work?"

The door slammed as KITT drove off.

Mike yelled, "KITT what are you doing. KITT, KITT come back here!"

Roxy folded her arms. "You are in so much trouble."

"Look Roxy I don't know what's going on but Hannah is safe." He pulled his cell phone from his pocket. "Sarah get to the SSC now. KITT's gone nuts."

Roxy frowned. "Will you mind telling me what's going on?"

Mike sighed. "I know I can trust you. Roxy this is beyond top secret. In the 80's my father worked for the Foundation for Law andd Government. It was a subdivision of the Knight Foundation. Charles Graiman and a group of scientists built an ultimate car. It had a mocular bonded shell making it almost indestructable. They installed an AI into the car. It drove itself and was fully computerized. My father drove that car. Well Charles built another car and I was recruited to drive it. I work for Knight Research and we help out the FBI."

"Will Hannah be okay?"

"Yes the AI, KITT's priminary order is to protect human life. Hannah won't be harmed. But he's programmed to respond to my orders. I don't know what's going on."

Sarah Graiman ran into the Satellite Surveillance Center. "What KITT kidnapped Hannah Montana?"

Zoe tapped on her keyboard, "KITT's shut off all contact from the SSC."

Sarah said, "Try to get him back online. " Sarah sifted through KITT's recent memory files. She threw the files onto the sister screen with her hand. "KITT downloaded all of our files on Hannah Montana. What was he looking for?"

Hannah grabbed the seat as KITT sped down the highway. "I really like you Hannah."

"Who said that?"

"Me I'm the Knight Industries Three Thousand or KITT if you prefer. You really gun my motor Hannah. I think we'll make a handsome couple."

"Talking car say what?"

Michael folded up his cell phone. "I'm going to the SSC. Don't worry Roxy we will get Hannah back."

Sarah studied several screens as they flashed information in front of her. "KITT is acting irrationally."

Her father entered the complex. "What going on?"

Zoe spoke up. "Dr. Graiman KITT has kidnapped Hannah Montana for some unknown reason. He's cut off contact with the SSC. I'm working on a plan."

Sarah threw her arms up. "Its like there's something wrong with his AI. He's ignoring us. KITT is a logical machine and now he's acting odd."

Charles Graiman asked, "Have you activated the recall signal?"

Zoe answered, "Yes but he's not responding."

Charles studied the data. "Well KITT's artifical intelligence was programmed to minic human thought patterns. He was designed to grow and learn like a human. He's rebelling."

Sarah scratched her head. "Like a teenager?"

Her father agreed. "Yes that's it Sarah. There are seven ages of man and KITT's well a happy go lucky teen."

"All the world's a stage,
And all the men and women merely players:
They have their exists and their entrances:
And one man in his time plays many parts,
His acts being seven ages."

Zoe commented, "Impressive."

"Even an idiot can quote Shakespeare." Sarah threw some images to her father's HD screen. "He was recording all of this intel on Hannah. He isn't trying to hurt her he just is interested in her."

Charles shook his head. "He's going to make a fool out of himself."

"Why?"

"He doesn't know how to talk to women yet. He's going to try to impress her but he'll just end up saying some very stupid things. It's a guy thing. Zoe see if you can establish audio contact with KITT. When Mike gets back here we'll see if Mike can talk to him."

Miley asked as she sped down the road, "Where are we going?"

KITT replied, "Don't worry you're safe with me. I have a nanotech shell. I'm taking you to a nice romantic spot. It's called inspiration point."

"Um you need to slow down."

"I'm driving the speed limit. I have access to the latest satellite and GPS. I assure you our course is safe. I've been studying your videos and profile. You're a most interesting person. Might I say Hannah you're prettier than a new set of mud flaps."

"Huh?"

"You're very funny too. I enjoy watching the Hannah and Hilary show."

Michael Knight ran into the SSC. "Do you know what happened?"

Charles addressed him. "We think KITT has evolved into a teen type personality. He likes Hannah Montana."

Zoe explained, "We think he's crushing on her."

Mike sighed. "I had a thing for Pamela Anderson once."

Sarah snapped, "Pamela Anderson?"

Mike smiled. "Yeah I wanted to be a life guard but then I met you Sarah and I understood that CJ Parker was just a TV character Pamela Anderson played. You were a real person with feelings and a real personality. Pamela just didn't do it for me anymore."

Sarah giggled, "Thanks."

Zoe clapped. "I have an audio link. Yea smart me."

Miley heard a female voice, "Hannah are you there?"

She answered, "Yeah. Who are you?"

"My name is Sarah, Hannah. I know you're probably scared."

"Ya think?"

'Don't be scared. You're not in any danger. We're going to help you."

Miley heard another woman shouting on the loud speaker. "Oh my gosh, oh my gosh I'm talking to Hannah Montana, this is so cool!"

Sarah said, "Zoe chill. KITT you need to return to the SSC now. There's a malfunction with your AI."

KITT replied, "I don't dectect any malfunction."

Mike asked KITT, "Hey pal what are you doing?"

"I'm running away with Hannah Montana. She's the love of my life."

"You can't do that buddy. You need to come back here so we can check out your systems. Something isn't right here."

"You're just trying to keep us apart."

"That's not it. All we're asking is for you to come back to the base and bring Hannah with you."

Miley wiped her forehead. Her head drooped.

KITT stated, "Your body tempature is high."

"I'm not feeling well. I have hypoglycemia. I've been working so hard lately and the concert tonight wore me out."

The glove compartment popped open. KITT requested, "Please place your hand inside the analyzer. It won't hurt I promise. I want to help you."

"Okay." She slipped her hand inside the case which slid out of the dash.

KITT said, "Yes your blood sugar level is dangerously low. I have to get you back to the SSC ASAP. Switching to attack mode." Miley heard motors and gears spinning. The windshield flashed "Attack Mode" in red.

Charles ordered, "Get the medical team up here!"

Miley watched as steel doors sprung open allowing KITT to race down a tunnel. A black circle formed in her vision. The blackness closed in. She saw bright lights flash as the car drove down an incline. She could hear voices shouting. The motor along with the voices became faint. She looked at her hand but it vanished in the darkness.

She squinted as light poured into her eyes. Someone held her arm. She felt pain in her neck. Miley's legs shook.

Sarah supported her. "Hannah! Hey wake up!"

Several people stood near her. One held a syringe, another checked her pulse. KITT asked, "Hannah are you okay? Please help her."

Sarah said, "Don't be scared. You're going to be okay."

Miley's legs stopped shaking. She took a deep breath. "I feel much better now."

Michael Knight stod beside KITT. "You did the right thing bringing her here. I'm proud of you."

"Is she going to be all right?

"I think so pal."

Miley studied the wall of computer screens and looked at the various work stations. A number of yellow, robot arms scanned KITT with green lasers. She stretched. "Please give me some space." Those around her backed away. She walked beside the car. "I'm okay. Thank you." When Miley first saw KITT the car exterior was black with white racing stripes. Now he looked more like her tour bus. Her face was plastered on the hood and she saw her likeness on the doors.

Mike touched her shoulder. "I'm glad you're okay. We'll get you back home soon."

She giggled. "There's no hurry."

Sarah folded her arms. "Sweet nibblets."

KITT flashed his scarlett scanner. "I was so worried about you Miley."

She replied, "I'm okay now."

Mike said, "To an outsider this place can be intimidating but you're safe. Don't be scared. I'm going to call Roxy and let her know that you're with us."

KITT assured her. "You're with friends."

Mike repeated, "Yeah friends."

KITT drove a few feet forward and bumped into Mike, "Excuse me but I was talking to Hannah."

"Hey take it easy pal."

Zoe ran up to Miley clutching her camera. "Oh wow it's Hannah Montana!"

Sarah stepped up, "Okay everybody calm down. Hannah I'm going to take you to my room and give you some privacy. I have a cool LCD TV in there. I think you could use a break."

Miley protested, "But Mike's here."

Sarah took Miley's arm. "Mike's busy now you can talk to him later. Come on it's okay. "

"Yeah you're right Sarah I could use a rest."

Sarah smiled. "I have a very comfortable room."

Charles examined KITT as he walked around the vehicles holding a screen. "KITT I need access to your CPU."

KITT wondered, "Do you think I have a malfunction of somekind?"

"More like a glitch KITT. " A screen formed on KITT's hood. Charles studied the rows of numbers. He touched KITT and threw the numbers on his screen.

KITT asked,"Please don't erase my memories of Hannah."

Charles went to his work station. "I'm not doing that KITT."

Mike put his hands on KITT"s roof. "Don't you think you're acting a little strange?"

"What do you mean?"

"Look at yourself KITT. You changed your paint scheme to a Hannah Montana collage."

"But I like her and she likes me."

Miley sat down on a soft bed as Sarah switched on a wall screen. She touched the screen until a Jonas Brothers video appeared. Sarah explained. "Our computers and TV's operate with touch screen technology and everything is interconnected and wireless."

"My brother would like to hook his WII up to that."

"Are you better Hannah?"

"That shot you gave me fixed me up."

"KITT relayed your vitals to us so we could help you once you arrived."

"What is this place?"

"Years ago a wealthy man, Wilton Knight created a foundation. This branch is called Knight Research. We develope expermental technology."

"What's the deal with the car?"

"KITT has a crush on you."

"Eeeewww."

"He's harmless. It's some programming glitch."

Charles scanned the binary codes again. "Zoe what do you think of this?"

She ran the data through her computer. "I think that's it. Did you plan on a scenario like this Dr. Graiman?"

"No. I never though KITT's AI would evolve to include this. KITT you do have a slight malfunction. I'm going to access your CPU in oder to correct it."

Mike asked, "Did you locate the malfunction?"

Charles answered as he typed, "Yes. KITT was dowloading information on Hannah Montana."

"Then he stared acting goofy."

"What happened was when he was sorting through all of the data he developed a glitch in his programming. He got stuck on a pattern. He kept going over her data again and again. He developed a type of OCD. KITT became a bit obsessed with her. I'm going to counter that programming so he can get unstuck. KITT you won't forget Hannah but you'll be able to perform other functions again. You'll be just as good as new."

The car responded, "I understand Dr. Graiman."

Charles threw the instructions onto KITT. "How are you KITT?"

KITT color changed back to black. "How's Hannah? May I see her?"

Mike asked, "Did it work?"

Charles sat back, "Technically. He stll has feelings for her."

Mike sat on the console. "You never forget your first one do you."

Charles laughed. "No."

Zoe looked at the two. "What are you talking about?"

Mike explained, "Your first crush. You think she's the one and you're going to be together forever. KITT's dealing with that now."

Charles agreed. "Yes and KITT's going to have to learn what we learned."

"Poor guy."

"It has to be done Mike."

Sarah turned when she heard the incoming call appear on her screen. She touched the monitor and her father's face popped up. He stated, "We have a plan. Hannah is going to have to explain how she feels toward KITT."

Miley stood up, "Okay. It's not easy when you have to turn down somebody who liked you. What am I saying? I talking about a car."

"You have to be honest Hannah."

Miley walked beside Sarah back to the SSC. Miley asked,"Can I have some privacy when I talk to KITT?"

Charles answered, "Yes you can."

Miley approached the car. "Hey KITT I need to talk to you in private." The door opened and she sat inside.

Sarah stood next to Charles. "Did you get all of that grey hair from me?"

"Nah, it's just genetics. My dad had grey hair young."

Sarah looked at her own hair. "That's not a pleasant thought. This reminded me of the times when I rebelled from you. I must have drove you crazy when I was younger. I wasn't a poster child for daughter of the year."

"You turned out fine."

"We had our battles. I was such a brat growing up. KITT's behavior is nothing compared to how I acted."

"You never did anything that bad Sarah."

"How did you deal with it? How does a parent deal with a child when they start getting lippy?"

"It's a normal part of growing up. I wasn't mister perfect when I was a young man. I couldn't expect you to be. I knew in your heart you meant well. Despite the problems we had back then I knew you loved me and I love you too. Being a young person isn't easy and I understood that. I was there once too. You had your growing pains and you've matured into a wonderful person and you learned from your mistakes. I'm very proud of who you are. I have designed and built some unique gagets but they are just gagets. You are my greatest work. And I wouldn't want you to be any different than who you are."

"I love you dad."

Miley squirmed in the seat. "I need to talk to you in private KITT."

The windows darkened. "I can classify our conversation as top secret." A folder appeared on the windshield. "No one will be able to hear us."

"Good. First of all I'm flattered I really am but you're a car and I'm a girl. It just won't work. I'd like a boyfriend who can hold my hand and laugh with and talk to. I can't have that connection with you KITT."

"Well we are different."

"I have to level with you." Miley pulled off her blonde wig and threw it in the passenger's seat. "Hannah Montana isn't real."

"But you're Hannah Montana aren't you?"

"Hannah is a character I created. I really value my privacy. I want to be a normal person who goes to school with her friends. I want to send time with my family. I created Hannah so I could do those normal things."

"Do you have multiple personality disorder?"

"No she's a character I play. A part of me is her. But when you see Hannah on stage, in videos, in interviews or public appearances that isn't really who I am. I like Hannah a lot but it isn't who I really am. Hannah isn't really real KITT. Miley Stewart is the real person behind Hannah Montana. "

"So my interest I had was in someone who wasn't a real person? I still think you're talented."

"And that's cool."

KITT asked, "Is it difficult keeping your secret?"

"Sometimes but I think it's worth it. I can do things as Hannah that Miley can't do. I can put a smile on a sick child. I can raise money for charity. Miley can't do those things but Hannah can."

"Can we be friends?"

"Of course. Hey a lot of girls say that to brush guys off but I think you're great. I have a fan who's a car and that's something special. You are the coolest car I've ever seen. You can do amazing things KITT."

"Thank you."

"So we're good."

"Yes we're good."

Miley placed her wig back on. "You can go back to normal now." The windows became clear and the door opened.

Sarah stared at the concrete as Miley slightly arched her back as she wiggled towards Michael. Miley whispered, "Hi there."

Mike replied, "Hey."

"I like you. I think you're cute."

"Oh boy. Hannah I'm not the right guy for you."

"I'd like to get to know you better."

"You're too young for me."

Miley snapped, "Do you think I'm immature?"

"No but.....you and I are in very different places in our lives right now. Oh if you were ten years older and more independent then things would be different. I don't think you're immature for your age but right now we wouldn't work as a couple. And besides Roxy would kill me."

"Boys my age are so immature and they just don't understand girls."

"That's very true but there are many nice boys your age who you would have much more in common with than you would with me. Just take your time and someone will come along who'll make a good match for you."

"Yeah you're right. I made you uncomfortable, I'm sorry."

"It's all right. Honestly I do think you're a nice girl."

"Thanks that's sweet. "

"KITT"s being prepared for launch I have to check out some of his systems and I'll be able to get you back to the concert hall."

"Okay."

Mike entered KITT said, "I feel rather foolish."

"Why?"

"I got carried away."

"It happens to the best of us. It's part of being a guy. All of us had a thing for a girl at one time or another and usually the feeling wasn't mutual. Don't beat yourself up over it. She made a monkey out of old King Kong."

"That's from the Muppet movie Mike. Will I ever have someone special in my life?"

"I don't know KITT."

"Frankenstein's monster asked his creator to make a mate for him. Will I be the only one of my kind?"

"Well I know back in the 90's the Foundation had plans to create a team of vehicles with AI's installed in them. They were going to make female AI's but the planned was dropped. I don't know. It's possible that someday you'll have a companion."

"I'll just have to wait until that day much like humans do."

"Is everything a go KITT?"

"Yes. My systems are all powered up at full capacity and am ready to launch."

Mike called out. "Hannah we're ready to go."

Miley said as she walked to the car, "Thanks Sarah. I hope to see you again." She buckled herself in. "Thanks guys."

Mike pressed the windshield. "Okay let's launch."

The tubes disconnected from KITT as the car cruised toward the hall.

I hoped the readers enjoyed it. I just proof read it again and made some minor changes. There were some minor spelling, grammar and typing errors. I also changed a few lines of dialogue. I'm happier with it now.
