Awesomeee, well my name's Kenzie,
and I use GIMP 2.4. Alot of people have started
making tutorials, so I figured I'd make some to. ahaha.

Colouring Number One
Okay, well this is a pretty basic colouring tut.
Pretty simple, but your result is really pretty!.
Just follow the steps, I'd lvoe to see results.

1. Open up your picture or grpahic that you want to colour.
Then go to colours > hue saturation.

2. Select Red, and drag the saturation bar till your
satisfied with the ammount of red in your picture.

3. Next, go to Colours > Curves.

4. Select Value on the Curves menu, and match your curves
till it looks something like this.

5. Select Red on the Curves menu, and then match your curves
so they look something like this.

Black and White Blending
Well, Alexa wanted a tut on this,
so here we go (:
Hope this helps!.

1. Open your picture and crop/resize/whatever
till your happy with the blend formation.

2. Open up your picture again, but don't do anything to it.
Select the Paths tool.

3. Make sure your settings look somethng like this.

4. Outline around the main part of your picture.

5. Click, Selection From Path, and the click, Edit > Copy

6. Go to your edited Blend, and hit Edit > Paste
Then go to Colours > Colourize
Type oin ;;
Lightness ;; 30
Saturation ;; 0
Click OK. Move the pic to wherever you want.
Click Layer > Merge Down.
Then click Edit > Paste and scale the layer till it's smaller
than the black and white one.
It should look like this.

7. Add colouring, text or whatever you want.
Your finished product should look something like this.

I forgot to put polygon so it's not that great but it's better than I thought.

hmmm... that's weird.
Try going to Layer > Anchor Layer.
See if that helps.

I try to make the tuts as easy as possible,
but sometiems is is hard to understand.
I forgot to put polygon so it's not that great but it's better than I thought.

It helps a ton to put it on polygon though (:
Try some colouring, and it'll be ah-mazing.

Here's the problem, when I put polygonal it makes a square even if I outline everything!!! Please help!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
