Transparent Sig Tutorial

Program: Gimp
Translatable: Most Likely!

1. Go to File>New

Make your width and height depending on the size of the mask
I will be using this one>>

It’s 593x399, but I will be making the size
A little bit bigger that away it’s easier.. You don’t have to..but I am.
I’m making it 625x425
Now Match your setting’s with mine>>

2. Copy & Paste your mask.. Then go Layer>Transparency>Color To Alpha
Were it says From __Then there’s a blank___ to alpha
The blank is the color.. Make sure the color is set to White (ffffff) then click OK
Then go to Dialogs>Layers and right click on Floating Selection
Then click on New Layer…right click on it again and press “Merge Down”

3. Now find pics you want.. Copy and paste them on to your image (I’ll be using pics of selena gomez)
Once you pasted it go to Dialogs>Layers! Right Click on Floating Selection then click on New Layer
You can either erase the parts you don’t want, or you can set it on a mode.. I’m going to be setting my mode on Lighten Only to make it easier and not having to erase anything! DON’T CLOSE THE LAYERS WINDOW!!
Although.. You might wanna erase some of it..Like Shown>>

^(See how there’s yellow dotted lines? That’s were the pic went to..I deleted some there)
Now.. Right click on the layer that says Pasted Layer and click on Merge down!

4. Copy and paste your 2nd pic! It’s basically like the 3rd step! .. Go to Dialogs>Layers
Then right click on Floating Selection and click on New Layer… You can set your mode but it will look like this (btw.. I’m setting it on Lighten Only KEEP LAYER WINDOW OPEN!!)>>

So you have to delete the parts that are covering her face like this>>

Then right click on the layer that says Pasted Layer.. Then click on Merge Down!! (btw..you can add more than 2 pics if u wanted 2)

5. Add Textures, Text, Brushes..etc. and Your Done!
(btw..when you add text..textures..and brushes..be sure u ALWAYS click on Merge Down!!)

Wallpaper Tutorial! =]

1. Go To File>New and make your Width: 1024 Height: 637!
2. We’re going to take this picture>>

copy & paste it and move it to the right hand side like this>>

3. Take your 2nd pic>>

4.Take Your 3rd Pic!

Copy & paste it.. Then go to Dialogs>Layers & right click on “Floating Selection” then click on “New Layer” And move it towards the bottom left side like this>>

Now You wanna delete the parts you don’t want that away it looks like this>>

5.Take your 4th image copy & paste it Then go to Dialogs>Layers & right click on “Floating Selection” then click on “New Layer”(KEEP LAYERS WINDOW OPEN!!! ..move it at the top kind of in the middle like this>>

Now if you didn’t keep your layers window open go to Dialogs>Layers
Click on the layer that says pasted layer to make sure your working on it (don’t right click)
Now.. Set your mode to “Lighten Only” so it should look like this>>

Now delete the parts you don’t’ want so it ends up looking like this>>

Now go to Image>Flatten Image!
6.Take your 5th pic and copy & paste it.. Then go to Dialogs>Layers & right click on “Floating Selection” then click on “New Layer”(KEEP LAYERS WINDOW OPEN!!! ..move it at the top right hand corner like this>>

Now if you didn’t keep your layers window open go to Dialogs>Layers
Click on the layer that says pasted layer to make sure your working on it (don’t right click)
Now.. Set your mode to “Lighten Only” so it should look like this>>

We’re not done yet.. Now you have to ROTATE your picture that away it looks a little something like this (You can move it upwards a little bit if u have 2)>>

Now… delete the parts you don’t want that away it looks like this>>

Now go to Image>Flatten Image!
7.Now we’re going to be adding text!
Use “Carnivalee Freakshow” 4 Miley Cyrus
“Violation” 4 Don’t’ you wish you could be…
& “Mia’s Scribblings” 4 A Fly On The Wall
(it doesn’t matter what size!)

Now.. The part were it says a fly on the wall is going to look like this 1st>>

So you want to Rotate it so it looks like this>>

Then go to Image>Flatten Image!
8. Now we’re adding the Pink Dots(They don‘t have 2 be pink!)!
Select the Paint brush tool & match your setting’s with mine!
(Make sure the brush is Circle(19))

1st go to Layer>New Layer & Click Ok!
Now.. You can finally add the dots
Place them were I place them>

Now go to Dialogs>Layers
And click on the layer (don’t right click it) that says ‘New Layer’
Then change the mode to “Lighten Only” so it should look like this>>

Go to Image>Flatten Image!
9. We’re Not Done Yet! Now 4 the Coloring!!
Go to colors>curves and match settings with mine!

Then click ok!
Now go to
Colors>Componets>Channel Mixer and match your setting’s with mine

Then click ok!
10. Copy and paste this>>

Go to Dialogs>Layers right click on Floating Selection then click on new layer!
Afterwards set your mode on Lighten Only at 40.0!
The go to image>Flatten Image!
11.Then go to colors>Brightness & contrast and make your Contrast 22!

12.Last Step..take this texture>>

Now match your settings with mine!

Signature Tutorial! =]

1. Go to File>New
Make your Width 500 & Height 200
Then click ok!
2. Copy & Paste your 1st Image ({X} (http://ashleypictures.net/albums/appearences/2008/SEPTEMBER%2019TH%20-%20Ashley%20Hosts%20Birthday%20Bash%20for%20her%20 sister%20at%20The%20Bank%20Nightclub/normal_001.jpg)) and Place it Here>>
http://i307.photobucket.com/albums/nn290/nick_jonas_gurl13/Textures%20and%20Random%20Stuff/ashtistut1.jpg
3. Copy & Paste your 2nd pic ({X} (http://ashleypictures.net/albums/appearences/2008/SEPTEMBER%2019TH%20-%20Ashley%20Hosts%20Birthday%20Bash%20for%20her%20 sister%20at%20The%20Bank%20Nightclub/normal_002.jpg))
Then go to Dialogs>Layers and right click on “Floating Selection”
Then click on New Layer
Then move it to were it looks like this

Now you wanna delete the parts you don’t want so it looks a little something like this>>

Then go to Image>Flatten Image!
4. Copy & paste your 3rd Image ({X} (http://ashleypictures.net/albums/appearences/2008/SEPTEMBER%2019TH%20-%20Ashley%20Hosts%20Birthday%20Bash%20for%20her%20 sister%20at%20The%20Bank%20Nightclub/normal_006.jpg)) Then go to Dialogs>Layers and right click on “Floating Selection”
Then click on New Layer
Then move it to were it looks like this

Then delete the parts you don’t’ want so it looks like this!

5. Copy & paste your 4th Image ({X} (http://ashleypictures.net/albums/appearences/2008/SEPTEMBER%2019TH%20-%20Ashley%20Hosts%20Birthday%20Bash%20for%20her%20 sister%20at%20The%20Bank%20Nightclub/normal_007.jpg)) Then go to Dialogs>Layers and right click on “Floating Selection”
Then click on New Layer
But.. Change your mode to “Darken Only” and move it so it looks like this!

Now Delete The Parts you don’t want so it looks like this>>
(btw..in order to Delete the parts off of her face you HAVE to make sure
The “Backround Layer” Is selected.. After you delete that you can go back and click on the “Pasted Layer” and delete the parts you don’t want)

Then go to Image>Flatten Image!
6. Go to Filters>Blur>Selective Gaussian Blur
And change your Max. delta: to 20
Now it should look like this>>

7. Take This Texture>

Then go to Dialogs>Layers
Right Click on Floating Selection..then click on New Layer
Now..change your mode to Lighten Only
Move it were ever..so it should look a little bit like this>>

8. Take this Gradient
Click! (http://i16.tinypic.com/4ifabz7.jpg)
Then go to Dialogs>Layers
Right Click on Floating Selection..then click on New Layer
Now..change your mode to Lighten Only
Move it were ever..so it should look a little bit like this>>

Then go to Image>Flatten Image!
9.Now…Take this Brush>>
Click! (http://i98.photobucket.com/albums/l278/lys2011/tutorials/tutorial1/1brush.png)
& go to Dialogs>Layers
And set your mode on “Multiply”
Move it So it should look like this!

Then go to Image>Flatten Image!
10. Now 4 the text
I’m using Carnivalee Freakshow size 80 color White
Move it down Here

Then go to Image>Flatten Image!
11. Now go to Filters>Décor>Round corners and math my settings!

Now DO NOT FLATTEN IMAGE!!
& your finished!

Siggy Tutorial!

1. Go to File>New

7. Now 4 the texture
Take this texture>>

Then go to Dialogs>Layers
Right click on “Floating Selection” then click on New Layer
Now.change your mode to Lighten Only
Opacity: 55.0

8. Last step! Go to Filters>Décor>Round Corners
Now match your settings with mine!
