have you ever moved?

hey.
well...i've moved before.
last year.
just a few towns over, yet i only kept a few of my friends.
i guess theyre not good at staying in touch.

anyways i'm moving again in mid september.
we're moving in w/my grandma.
b/c my grandpa died and, well....yeah.
we've known we're moving for a while.
weve been planning it.
it just so happens that she lives FAR away.
really far. :(
and i want to make sure i keep the only 2 friends ive managed to keep through all the moves.
bc theyve always been there for me and i dont want it too stop.
i'm gonna miss them.
so were going to visit sometimes, but i dont think its enough times.

i'm only a about to be a sophomore and thisll be the 3rd school i've gone to for HIGH SCHOOL.


so have any of you ever moved?
was it hard for you?
can you give me advice?
how do i keep my friends this time, even though its really far?
how do i make new friends?

i'm pretty outgoing, but..
idk. its just hard to keep starting over.
help...?


and to be honest i'm glad to leave this place i'm in now..
it's been horrible.
i've made absolutely ZERO friends.

I know what you mean by moving constantly...
I lived in PA all my life until I turned 13 and my parents wanted us to move to AZ, which was a horrible idea... We just packed up and left. Since then I've twice and that wasn't even a year ago.

It is really tough but you'll get through it!

I've moved 3 times in my lifetime and where I am now, we've been for almost 9 years now!
When I was 2, we moved from Newcastle to Bradford. Then when I was 5, we moved from Bradford to Devon, then when I was 8, we moved from Devon to where we are now! It's been hectic but I've made loads of friends here. Unfortunately, next year when I finish school, I'm going to University which means moving again =[

i moved once, when i was like 3, and i only moved about 10 minutes away into a bigger house. so i dont really have much advice for you haha. sorry!.

I moved like 5 years ago and it was about 15 min. away.
i didn't care.

But I hate where I live (suburbs are boring) and i want my dad to get a job
in New York City

I've never moved in my entire life!! But maybe you could call them everyday, or chat with them online!! Thats one way to keep in touch :)

I moved when I was around 6months old and since then I've been living in the same house for the last 14years. So I don't really have much advice, sorry ;)

Ive moved 3 times in my life
two didn't affect me cause i was little
the third time did, I was going to a school and i had a lot of friends
i moved to where i am now, and haven't kept touch with any of them.
that was about 4 years ago, i still think about them all it sucks.
but i made new friends, just talk to people and be yourself, and your sure to make friends

its hard, but you'll get through it.
