Why Miley Won't Be Just A Fad.

Let's try this again. lol. This is strictly about why Miley will be around for a while, based on her own merits. What does she have that will endure?:)

For one, I think she's got a boatload of charisma. She can captivate an audience, to kids from 1-92.:P She's got a charm to her that makes her approachable. Even though she's pretty much the biggest star in North American, she doesn't come off as intimidating or out of reach.

She doesn't have the greatest voice in the world. It can be a bit rough, its tone is not what people are used to, and she's an alto, the alsorans of the choir. lol. But, her voice is improving, and I think a lot of people are taken by its unique tone. Someone's always going to be a better singer, but for what she has, I think she does it pretty well. You've got to do what's best for you and your voice. Plus she's got the country tone in it, and could easily cross over more in the future.

She's very attractive. If I may be shallow for a minute, I think as she grows older, she's going to be a knockout, and in this business, that definitely helps. Not only looks wise though, but energy wise. She's not typically good looking, but there's this vibe that makes her attractive. It's hard to explain but it's part of the "it" factor.

She's a smart and witty kid. She's made some mistakes of course, and we all know what they are, but she seems to have her feet on the ground, and she's so fun to listen to. I think her personality and wit is a big part of her charm.

Lol. Also, she's got so much support from the veterans, country music and otherwise. It doesn't sound like lip service when they support her, it sounds genuine. I don't think anyone thinks she has the greatest voice since Loretta Lynn or whatever, but I think they see that she does have something special. Cause I think a lot of people do like her for her music. I know I do.:) I think she sings with a lot of character and emotion.

I'm watching the Today performance on youtube, and her tone really comes through on slow songs. That rich low register is also something that sets her apart. Since a lot of singers predominantly sing high. Miley's probably one of the few who could sing Moon River in the original key. lol.

She is the most charismatic, funny and energetic person I've ever seen.
Her voice is unique, different in a good way as already said, I've never seen a voice like hers.
She is just positive and she can go through pretty much anything that people throw on her face.

Well can't say I disagree.:D I think that was the initial appeal. But now that she's growing up, I think people are starting to look deeper into the talent side of things. I thought she was adorable when I first saw her too, and then I heard her sing, and I thought "Thank God, someone who can actually sing." lol. So she definitley has the voice. I think some people feel protective of her right now because she is so young and naive(sorry kiddo) but when she grows older, they'll start to look past that. My dad says she seems like a "scamp." lol. It's a compliment.

And she's still going. If it stops, I think it will because of her walking away(which I don't see happening), not because she faded. Only so many people reach that status. Lots of people are famous, but only so many have that extra jolt or burst or something. It's not something that can be explained. Frank Sinatra, Elvis Presley, the Beatles, Judy Garland, etc, I think they all had it. And I think she does too. But again, it's not something tangible. That's why I think if she chooses to, she'll be around for a long time.

yeah as she's said, she's not going to be Hannah Montana until she's 30. she's already expressed that she's going "to keep disney happy" for a bit, but she will definitely be doing her own thing in due time.

It seems like she's doing both. Breakout was in image, independant of disney, so were various concert appearances. She's still with disney, but I think people are looking past that. Hannah Montana is disney, but Miley's kind of sitting on the fence. I think she'll be able to walk away unscathed when she does. If she jumps too soon, she probably be taken as seriously, if she stays too long, same problem. So it's kind of a balancing act, but I think it will work out.

musically Mileys broken away from disney in a way, as many of the critics said Breakout is not tweenbopper music. Miley use to tour as Hannah, shes made it clear that she won't be doing that ever again. Shes not going to stay with disney forever, another year or two. Disney has an option for 4th season, so its not really Miley's choice about the 4th season but after that shes going to leave. By 17(maybe towards the lather half of 17 ) she'll have left disney.

really, I know a lot adults who love Miley. She had the 2 highest opening sales for the year for a women, second to Mariah. Thats amazing, she beat Madonna and Janet Jackson.

I think hannah would fall into the same category as Barney and the children's mascots heroes type thing. She was always geared for children. But Miley, she's more for teens and well everyone, apparently. I think she'll be okay.:)

I think Miley has a ton of charisma and a lot of acting potential that we've seen glimpses of here and there in the show. For example, I've been impressed with the preview for the next episode, where she very convincingly portrays her crush on the rich guy, as well as her her performance in the episode where she fought with Robbie Ray over the trip to Florida. Another is her reaction to Robbie's story on how he met her mother. Yes there are over the top scenes, but there are a number of little moments like those, not to mention the many funny one liners she delivers so well. I'm anticipating further development in her upcoming movies.

I think she'll do well in the future, but as many have said already, she'll need to break away from Disney in the next few years. She was right to want to end the show with season 3, even though it was reported as some kind of mini scandal by the tabloid press.

Yeah, there are some really good scenes in Hannah Montana, of course many of them are supposed to look like "Duh" kind of dumb because the majority who watches the show are kids/teenagers but there are some really good parts, I think Miley with her charisma and she is naturally funny so she is amazing in funny scenes but I think she does awesome with dramatic scenes as well, even though we've seen few of them on the show, she shows she has a lot of potential and I'm soo excited to see HM the movie its not even funny.

that was so sad, the voice she did.

and I love the episode where she goes to florida in general but the part where she is with Robbie on the plane, the ending when she hugs him tight its so sweet, cause the song is a true song of their lives and the look on her face made it seem so real, and I believe that was a little bit off the camera as well, her reaction, awesome.

Youch. lol. I like the little moments more than the "funny" moments. I think they resinate more, and I think she uses her eyes really well. Like in ABJ part 2. When he kind of yells at her, she looks so hurt. *Hugs Miley, and kicks Jake in the butt* Hence, good acting on both their parts.

I'm really excited too. It's all new directors and writers, so hopefully they won't be screaming at us for an hour and a half.:lol: I think it's going to be amazing. I hope so. I think my favourite scene ever is in I Am Hannah..., and she tells her dad her fears about not being Hannah anymore. That was a really good scene.

LOL Yeah I was like wtf? whats that episode and then I saw "kicks jakes butt" and I realized it was the achey jakey heart, lol and also its the only epis. with 2 parts.
I think the movie must be definitely more mature and serious.
Just because Miley was much older when she filmed the HM movie and the relationship with Lucas (Travis) seems more serious and mature as well.
Just everything... she'll blow us away with this movie, I can feel it. :D
