And I don't know why. Two threads have been closed because some
people took the conversation way off topic. I mean - someone posted
pictures in a topic about Miley's party. That-has-nothing-to-do-with
-anything. Its makes me a little ticked because these threads are getting
closed for stupid off-topic conversations. I'm partly mad because I was
one of the people who started a thread that had to be closed because
people went off topic :icon_rolleyes: I also couldn't help but notice that the other
person who started a thread that had to be closed for the same reason,
was upset as well.
I know I'm not a moderator or anything, and I can't force rules - but
please hear me out; just stay on topic. Use your commen sense and
think before you type, because others are getting affected by it.
Thanks a ton :D
Sorry if this came off rude.

The reason threads are being closed is because people are being realllyy inappropriate and/or off topic.
i dont like it either.
people are commenting in such inappropriate ways that i dont think thats how they [ the staff members and members] want MMW to Look.
It sucks...
and the people who mostly are being off topic ect, dont come in this section. =\
oh but i dont know if threads like this are allowed. either way, i agree that its unfair

I don't know of people are really TRYING to get off topic (i'm not defending them, i'm just saying).
like for example they would say something related to the topic, then another person would say something related to that thing that was related to the topic, and so on and so on. Then it would come of as totally off topic.

Yeah I think thats the problem. Unfortunatly, I don't think they
stop and realize it - when they should, I guess.
And I'm sorry if a thread like this isn't aloud. I was just thinking out
loud and saying how I feel after seeing a thread get closed bc
of it. Whoops :embarrased:

haha. i'm not sure, i dunno if there's a specific rule against this kind of stuff. because i've read the rules, && there's nothing really-close to what this is. i dunno. maybe i didn't read it closeley enough.

if someone in your thread is being problematic, it will be taken care of. if your thread
has been closed for reason that are not your fault, you can restart it if you don't think
it will be a problem again. the other threads were closed because they were getting
really inappropriate and used as chat threads. if you repost your thread and it continues to be a problem, it will be closed again and the members may receive a more severe consequence.
