Going for a story might have been a smart move if you think about it...
1. Whatever guy she might star in, she could possibley be linked to. Therefore, escaping dating rumors.
2. More hardcore bands, the ones she like, tell the story in the words. And for their music videos just show themselves, which I think she tried to do. I think the music video was more her. Which I appreciated.
