Miley not Disney’s first pick to play Hannah?

I have no idea in how far this might be old, or even a hoax, but thought it was interesting to post as I hadn’t seen it before and just showed up in my feed reader.

“The successful teen songstress admits that she turned down Disney’s offer to be ‘Hannah Montana’ … shoes later filled by some little-known celebrity you may have heard of named Miley Cyrus. The 17-year-old singer-actress tells Extra she has “no regrets at all” about turning down her chance to become stupidly rich and famous.”

And we all know, whether we want to admit it or not, that last line somewhat describes Miley Cyrus. (We are not saying she’s stupid, its how much money she’s made from ‘Hannah Montana’ that’s ridiculous.) Antother quote, also from PopEater, shows more of JoJo and how she feels about the whole thing.

“JoJo says she’s got “no regrets” about turning down Disney’s offer to be the star of ‘Hannah Montana.’, and says being a teen superstar of Miley Cyrus proportions is “not really what I see for myself.”"

So, would ‘Hannah Montana’ have been better or worse with JoJo as lead? Would she have become as famous? Vote Below [on the above linkes website]!

it actually is true jojo was asked before miley auditioned 5 or 6 times.
Jojo actually said that she wanted her own music portrayed not
the written hannah montana music.

and personally i couldn't see jojo as hannah montana. hannah is more country like and jojo isn't southern at all

ahhh but Characters can be edited to match with the person playing him or her.

Probably one of the reasons You cant see it because Mileys already Miley Stewart and hannah montana. She has been for a while.

Shes already molded as the character.

But then again, I cant see her as a hidden pop star.

Jojo says shes has no regrets, I believe her.

Her statements,timed with her TV movie, makes one believe that she is using Miley's name to get free publicity. It's the same thing the condom company did. Whether it's true or not, it's just a cheap pubicity trick.

yeah i heard that a while ago. I don't think JOJO could act as hannah but i do like her and i think she's too good to be in HM
