So I don't know if this is the right section but last time something like this was posted it was posted in this sections. Remember ratings were down a lot of people were saying its because of the pictures? well a lot of us said that it was because of the spacing between episodes, not because of the overblown scandals that HM's ratings were down. Well since HM started airing regularly(every 2-3 weeks a new episode) the ratings have been up and lasts week it got the highest ratings in nearly a year.
This article talks about the ratings increase. It also has air dates fort he remaining 4 episodes of the 2nd season and a disney exc talking about disney's hopes to have a 4th season of HM, which they do have an option for.
anyway heres the link:

T4P. I agree it was Disney problem that ratings went down since they were not prepared so spread out the season 2 episodes so much. They should have been ready for writer's strike as a lot of other shows were ready.
Miley is actually a bigger star and I'm sure once the new shows start to air regularly again the audience with be huge again.
Go Miley and I can't wait for the new season too.

omg that's great!!! i knew they would get back up!

and a 24 episode installment for season 3? it seems a bit small considering the other two, but it might work out good that way! plus we get the movie!
i'm just overjoyed that they have a third season! imagine if they stopped it like lizzie mcguire and even stevens after the second season! i would be crying!
so yay for high ratings and season 3/possibly 4!!

24 episodes right now, but thats what season 2 started with and it kept getting extended. I think you'll see a season 4, Disney has the option for it, which I believe technically means if they use the option then Miley and the rest of the cast have to do that fourth season because its in their contract.

Hmm.. thats interesting. It would be awesome if they had
a season 4.. i dont think they will because the movie is while
season 3 is airing.

haha i was just gonna say something like that.

i would love to see a season four but miley already finished the hannah movie so if they did a season four she would look wayyy younger in the movie :P
plus they already announced that the movie would come out in somewhat-early 2009.

thats great that the ratings are back up though!

guys your misunderstanding. The movie is not the end of the series, it was never looked at it like that. The 3rd season will still be filming after the movie comes out, so ethier way the movies not the end. Wheather HM gets a 4th season has nothing to do with the movie.
as part of the contract disney has the right to decided to have a 4th season, which they are hoping to have. I think you will see a fourth season, HM and Miley just make them too much money for them to let that franchise go. If disney didn't have the an option for a 4th season it might be different but they do and if disney wants a 4th season, their will be one.
