Cool text. I have Gimp too so how did you do it?
If you mean the font, the font is Pea Anderson.
If you mean the way it's outlined, hit "Create Path From Text" at the bottom of the Text tab thing. Then go to Select -> From Path -> Grow.
Then a box comes up, and I usually do 3 or 4 pixels.
Then go to the bucket tool, pick a color, and fill the area thats outlined.

that's pretty awesome. I like how you used the black and white effect on some parts and then left the other parts by itself.
