cool thanks!! that was interesting my favorite part was when miley said "make it like your singing to your boyfriend" and brett said "boyfriend?" and she was like "girlfriend sorry" i started cracking up
flutesinger262
07-26-2008, 07:32 PM
oh my gosh me too, lol
Yero34
07-26-2008, 08:24 PM
 LMAO!!
I love this freaking kid. My God she's hysterical. "I have faith in you Bret." Then she turns to the girl and shakes her head.
flutesinger262
07-26-2008, 08:34 PM
lol, the songwriter on E news was like lets just say theres a lot of other things she hated that we didn't let her put in the song, or something like that, lol. talking about 7 things. She was saying how Miley came off tour and played them the song on her guitar, lol. And I was laughing when she was talking about bottom of the ocean she was like she texted upset that her fish died which is so cute because its just a stinkin fish, lol. That was funny. No interview with Miley though, just her producers.
Yero34
07-26-2008, 08:37 PM
Is that on youtube? I want to see it.:D Bwah! I want to know what the other things were. I have a feeling TCA are going to be hysterical.
flutesinger262
07-26-2008, 08:42 PM
it just aired. lol, she said Miley's a natural song writer, all her songs come from the heart. Its not manafactured or clinical, its natural. lol. They had a couple cute pics of the two of them(not the one where shes kissing her cheek). lol, I laughed when she was like its a stinkin fish but Miley felt its loss and I get that, lol.
Yero34
07-26-2008, 08:44 PM
Lol. Scandalous. A young girl kissing an older woman on the cheek? Call the flippin' cops. Aww. So her producers are pretty fond of her I'm guessing?
flutesinger262
07-26-2008, 08:47 PM
yeah, definately. They had that guy Tim on there too but he really just sat their and let Thomas' mom, I can never rememeber her name, do the talking.
Yero34
07-26-2008, 08:50 PM
I believe it's Antonia Armata.:D
Who did the interveiwing? Guilliana(sp) I'm guessing. Not Ryan.:'(
flutesinger262
07-26-2008, 08:54 PM
Jason, again. Guilliana's the one who presented the story. I love the way she was like Miley Cyrus is growing up right before our very eyes, where it really shows is her music. the way she said growing up, IDK it made her sound like a protective parent or something, lol.
Yero34
07-26-2008, 09:01 PM
Jason Kennedy, and Debbie Momponompolus:lol: Sorry, man that was hysterical(word of the day). Okay serious now. Aww. I think a lot of them are protective, but no moreso than Mr. Seacrest. But they all just seem like they want to protect her from the jerks like Perez Hilton, from the cynisism, etc. It's sweet.:07:
flutesinger262
07-26-2008, 09:03 PM
lol I love it, Jason: "Breakout Breaks in a mature Miss M" lol
Yero34
07-26-2008, 09:06 PM
Aww. Bette Middler reference. Sort of. I love Bette Middler. That woman is priceless. Now that I think about it, Miley kind of does remind me of her, just because she's loud. Sorry Miles.
flutesinger262
07-26-2008, 09:25 PM
i love bette midler, I love wind beanth my wings.
lol, I hope they put what they aired today online because it was really cool. That Tim guy seems cool, doesn't talk much though. lol.
Yero34
07-26-2008, 09:28 PM
Bette Middler is just fantastic. Have you ever seen the Rose? It's pretty much based on Janis Joplin. It's amazing. I'd love to see Miley do something like that when she gets older. Now that I really think about it, I think the person Miley is most like in terms of type and career, and personality, is Bette Middler. Also, Bette Middler is kind of a gay icon, and I can totally see Miley becoming one. Ie, have a huge following of gay men. Not Perez Hilton obviously.:54:
flutesinger262
07-26-2008, 09:40 PM
lol
"get out of my chair"
"come on we don't got all day, I've got to call lunch"
lol, shes so cute. I could never have said any of that stuff with a straight face.
I love how she was making Brett doing rock, paper, scissors(sp?) and he didn't even know how it work.
I wonder what he was doing that she was like don't do that.
Yero34
07-26-2008, 09:44 PM
That was so funny. You just know that when she grows up, she's going to have so many hilarious stories to tell. When Judy Garland got pretty old, she went on the Jack Parr show and talked about how the munchkins would hit on her on the set of Wizard of Oz. I can totally see Miley having stories like that about HM or whatever. Miley's got that old school storytelling thing going on. Like Robin Roberts said, it's like you should have popcorn when you're interviewing her.
"Don't do that." Hee. I'm guessing he was head bangin. lol.
flutesinger262
07-26-2008, 09:51 PM
lol, shes so funny.
" don't perform the song when you sing it make it seem like your singing it to you boyfriened"
"Boyfriend?"
"Sorry, I mean Girlfriend"
lol.
"How do you think hes going to do?"
"bad"
"Met too"
the I have faith in you Brett then her rolling her eyes made me laugh so much.
lol, what is that drink she was drinking out of a straw, I can't figure out what it is. lol, about the lepercan(sp?) shoes. so much of this video make me laugh.
OMG brett head bangin would be too funny.
I know Robin was dead on with the popcorn thing,
Yero34

Miley is so unbelievably quick it astounds me. If there's an opening for a joke, she'll take it. I don't think I've ever heard a wittier young celebrity. The things that come out of her mouth are priceless. I would love to see her have a career like Bette Midler. Actor, Singer, Comedian, etc. Miley could totally be a comedian. I wish people would look past the disney thing and see what she really has to offer.
"Boyfriend?"
"Girlfriend, sorry."
Ha, she totally wasn't sorry.
flutesinger262
07-26-2008, 10:15 PM
lol, no she wasn't lol
Yero34
07-26-2008, 10:17 PM
Heh. Cheeky little imp. She's got such a mischevious quality to her. The more I see her, the more I like her.:)
flutesinger262
07-26-2008, 10:22 PM
shes very mischvious. i love it, lol
Yero34
07-26-2008, 10:35 PM
She's just so adorably mischevious. I really don't think she means any harm when she does stuff like that. I think she's just naturally impish. Heh, "I got to call lunch." If Miley had a career like Bette Midler or Judy Garland, I would flippin' die. Those two are my favourite triple threats(movies, tv, singing), and if Miley joined their ranks, I would be thrilled. I think she could.:D
"My scissors cut your paper."
flutesinger262
07-26-2008, 11:09 PM
lol "My scissors cut your paper."
about 7 things, to the doubters, one things for sure after the way Antonina was talking about that song, there is no way its about Thomas, lol, because she defintaly knew who that song was about.
Yero34
07-26-2008, 11:11 PM
Heh, the guitar smashing. Awesome.
Yeah, there's no way. I'm still laughing about BOTO. Fish? Crazy, mischevious little imp.:)
flutesinger262
07-26-2008, 11:18 PM
"its a stinkin fish", lol. I like that Antonina person, she seems like a cool lady to work with. I can see why Miley likes her.
"all I'll say is theres a lot of things she hated that we didn't let her putt into the song"
lol
the guitar smashing was soo cool.
Yero34
07-26-2008, 11:21 PM
Maybe a little too much. Heh. I'm kidding. Stupid Oceanup with their dumb pictures and ignorant minds.
Hee. I want to hear those other things.:33: It's great that they all like her. She must be so much fun to be around. You'd probably never get bored.
flutesinger262
07-26-2008, 11:25 PM
lol, i wanna hear what they are too. Theres never a dull moment with Miley. Serious Miley seems like a person who would be such a great friend, if you can keep up with her.

07-26-2008, 11:26 PM
I luv miles!
Yero34
07-26-2008, 11:28 PM
Me too. That's why I don't get the Mandy bashing. Frankly, it offends me that if a 21 year old is hanging out with a 15 year old, they must be a bad influence. Miley seems like a really fun, energetic kid. In this case, age is just a number. I work with 15 year olds, and we get along fine. I would so not be able to keep up with Miley though. lol.
flutesinger262
07-27-2008, 02:27 AM
i know. i don't get it at all. i'm in college believe me Miley's more mature the most of the 20 year olds on my campus. Miley's maturity level us on par with Mandy's so i fail to see why they can't hang out.
lol, I could never keep up with her ethier
Yero34
07-27-2008, 02:58 AM
Miley has an unbelievably quick mind. While some of her decisions are questionable, her mind is so sharp. My mom and I were talking about her and she said Miley reminds her of Judy Garland in that respect. Hee. My parents love Miley.:) I like to think I'm pretty quick, but Miley is just lightning fast.
flutesinger262
07-27-2008, 12:38 PM
oh my gosh I totally missed the interview they had with Brett comparing her to Madonna.
lol, Miley's so funny:
Jason: Brett Ratner compared your work ethic to Madonna
Miley(looks at the camera and blows a kiss): I love you Brett Ratner
Jason: What do you think when you hear something like that?
Miley: uh its AWESOME
lol
awe Brett
"her records so incredible, so honest"
"shes like a little adult"
"it makes me feel relevant because a 15 year wanted me to direct her video"
"Shes just a pro, so down to earth"
he said Miley had some ideas and things she wanted in the video and that she takes incredible direction.
lol, its like a Miley love fest on E! News.
SmileyMileyRay
07-27-2008, 12:43 PM
Lol. I don't know anyone in the business who doesn't love the kid.

07-27-2008, 04:15 PM
Aww, E and AH seem to just love her. Bret is awesome, and so dead on. I think as long as you have the serious media on your side, you'll(or she'll) be fine.

I'm SOOO glad it had the part where she smashed the guitar, that was the part of the music video that wasn't in there when it premiered, and I really wanted to see it, but I wasn't expecting the guitar smashing in the behind the scenes video, so it was a big surprise!
Yero34
07-27-2008, 05:02 PM
Please tell me this is on youtube. I want to see it so badly.:)
flutesinger262
07-27-2008, 09:52 PM
idk, i had it on my tivo. i was rewatchin the Antonina part and realized that the Brett part aired later in the show. lol, Brett got thousands of calls asking if they could come and watch. i was laughing when he was going "but you 40 years old" lol
Yero34
07-27-2008, 09:53 PM
I keep checking youtube, but no luck. Man, I want to see it.:'(
flutesinger262
07-27-2008, 09:57 PM
you've got to see it, its like a total miley love fest.

flutesinger262
07-27-2008, 10:05 PM
Ask the guy who uploads videos on here to record it. They should air it again some time today.
lol, the way she looked at the camera, blew a kiss and was like I love you Brett Ratner, too cute. i couldn't stop laughing
Yero34
07-27-2008, 10:18 PM
I assumed the "I love you" thing was for Brett. Either that, or the fans.
flutesinger262
07-27-2008, 10:24 PM
it was for Brett. She was like " I love You Brett Ratner"
Yero34
07-27-2008, 10:28 PM
Brett Ratner is one lucky guy.;)
The extended making of is so freaking hysterical. I love how every serious(not tabloid) person(actor, singer, media) just absolutely becomes captivated by her when they work with her. It's awesome.
flutesinger262
07-27-2008, 10:30 PM
lol, she said that because he said her work ethics like Madonna.
i love Miley's response when Jason asked her what she thinks when she hears people making those kinda comparision. She completely showed her age: "uh its AWESOME" lol.
the extended thing is so funny.
Yero34
07-27-2008, 10:33 PM
Lol. I can totally see that in my head. I love how she's not afraid to be a kid, but at the same time, she's really witty and intelligent. She's so poised and mature(Thanks Ry), but she's definitely a kid. The contrast works really well. Makes her seem human. What a concept. lol. I swear she's the only person in Hollywood Ryan Seacrest actually likes. lol.
flutesinger262
07-27-2008, 10:39 PM
lol, it was so hilarious.
Yeah the contrast is like perfect. Seriously Miley's personality is perfect for this business, lol. Shes the perfect balance between a kid and an adult. Shes a kid in several ways but shes mature and adult like in the ways that matter.
I'll never understand the people that crtize her for looking or acting the way she does. They say shes too mature in those aspects but I say I'm sick of kids acting immature and screwing up their lives, its nice to see someone whose mature in the ways that matter but is also very much a kid.
Yero34
07-27-2008, 10:43 PM
Exactly. I'm also sick of creepily robotic 10-16 year olds who talk like 40 year old psychologists. I think Miley has a really good balance, if not perfect. She knows who she is, and if you don't like it, go to heck. lol. I think people really love her because she's not fake. She can be a little loud, she can be really talkative, etc, but that's her. What you see is what you get. There's mystery, but at the same time, there's not.
SupaStaRrMiley92
07-27-2008, 10:45 PM
great vid, thanks for posting =D
flutesinger262
07-27-2008, 10:48 PM
lol, exactly. I also dont' get the people who critize her when she does look and act her age. the people on Perez were teasing Miley when the TV guide article comes out becuase not only did she say one of things she couldn't live without was her mother but she called her mommy. I'm sorry but shes 15, 15 year olds are like that. And then yesterday I saw someone say Miley Cyrus looks to geeky and awckward. I'm like shes 15, shes just starting to come out of her awckward stage.
What i love most about her is that shes as real as they get, never fake. I like people who what you see is what you get.
Yero34
07-27-2008, 10:51 PM
People are just ignorant. They give her crap for watching SATC, and then give her crap for calling her mom, mommy. Can't have it both ways. She just seems like a kid to me. Frankly I would never have been caught dead referring to my mother as mommy at 15, but to each their own. She's got a good relationship with her mom, what's wrong with that? The family seems incredibly close and loving, I don't think people know how to deal with that in Hollywood, especially when there's more than one celebrity in the family. If the family isn't fighting, backstabbing, etc, they can't deal. lol.
flutesinger262
07-27-2008, 10:57 PM
Its also a different kinda culture, people down south definately are like that still calling their parents mommy and daddy, especially the girls calling their dads Daddy. I live in NY, I just turned 19 and I still call my mom Mommy, but I'd never do it in public. Its really just the difference in cultures I think.
lol, at people not knowing how to deal with a hollywood family being close and loving. I think people are too addicted to the drama's of the Spears and Lohan families.
Yero34
07-27-2008, 11:01 PM
Yeah, like I call my dad, mom and dad. I know American girls call their dads, daddy, and that's cool, but it will be a cold day in heck before I ever call my dad that.:P I agree. People are addicted to the drama. God forbid parents in Hollywood not use their children as meal tickets. Perish the thought of a mother and father actually loving and protecting their child. Must be a foreign concept, and that's really really sad.
flutesinger262
07-27-2008, 11:08 PM
not all of us do it, its really just the little kids and then really the older girls down south call their Mom's etheir Mommy or Mama and their dads daddy. up in the northern part of the US its mainly just mom and dad that the older girls call their parents, at least in public, lol.
I know, but sadly their is legitamate reason for people to be skeptical. Dina Lohan and Jamie and Lynne Spears give hollywood parents a bad name. Quite frankly, I'll never understand why people think of all people Miley's parents are using her. Miley grew up in a manshion, her parents don't and never will need her money.
Yero34
07-27-2008, 11:12 PM
Oh, my bad. lol. I just rely on tv, and they always call their dads daddy. Anyway, people do have a good reason to be skeptical, but I think Tish and Billy Ray have proven that they're not exploiting their kid. Miley loves what she's doing, there's no doubt in my mind about that. They support her, and they make sure she stays grounded. What are they supposed to do? Not be seen in public with her? I cringe whenever someone compares Tish to Dina Lohan. No, just, no. And poor Billy Ray, the crap he gets, that's just not cool. She was their child first, and a celebrity later. When they look at her, they see their daughter, not dollar signs.
Sorry, but the Billy Ray and Tish bashing really bugs me.
flutesinger262
07-27-2008, 11:23 PM
really I only notice it on Hannah Montana and the other shows that ethier take place in the south or involve a southern family, and its only because thats a part of the southern culture.
Tish definately is no Dina Lohan. Have they seen Tish, the lady doesn't even talk to any of the paparazzi or those people unless they're being mean to Miley, and then of course shes going to stick up for her daughter. Shes nothing like the loud mouthed, spotlight hogging Dina Lohan. When Miley's older I will gaurentee you Tish will never be seen club hopping with her, lol.
Yeah definately from eveything I've seen and heard in Miley's stories, shes their daughter first and at home they treat her just like Noah or Briason.
People have no basis to claim her parents are stage parents, becuase they're not.
Yero34
07-27-2008, 11:28 PM
People are constantly making up lies about Tish and Billy Ray and it's jut so unfounded. From the way they all talk, it's clear that she is treated the same as the other two, or three, or whatever. lol. She has to load the dishwasher, tak out the garbage, clean her room, etc. If anything, she's going to get less liberties than the other two. She can't go anywhere without supervision, she probably has a lot less freedom, the other two don't have to worry about paparazzi or whatever unless they're with her. If anything, she's got less freedom. I don't get any stage parent vibes from Billy Ray or Tish at all. I can see why people would think that, but you can just see it in Miley's eyes that she loves what she's doing.
flutesinger262
07-27-2008, 11:58 PM
like I said you will never see the day that Tish is going club hopping with Miley or Billy Ray is Miley's drug partner. Britney and Lindsay's parents shouldn't have ever been parents. Its not fair to her parents but that the way many hollywood parents are sadly so they get sterotyped. She is treated normal, especially compared to many of her hollywood peers, and its nice to see. They keep her grounded, which I love. She definately has less freeedom then her brothers and sisters. Seriously I will never understand why people thing Billy Ray and Tish abuse their daughters fame, they really don't and never have.
Yero34
07-28-2008, 12:02 AM
Yeah, it's sad. I think it's great that Tish is always with her. I think it'd be strange if she wasn't. Miley really can't go anywhere alone. That would just be collosally bad. Who better than her mother or father to be with her? I can just imagine that that kid is probably borderline smothered, not in a bad way, but in a way that they never let her out of their sight. They can't. I'm sure Braison can hang out with friends, no problem, same with Braison. But with Miley, her parents probably have to run background checks on her friends.:P
