Intro: It all began one night when I was watching TV, and my cell phone started to buzz... wait, wait, lets back it up;

My name is Carly Davis, and I am a blue-eyed & brunette 15 year old, living in the suburbs of LA. I’m finishing up my first year at Lakewood High School ---then summer! Enough about school though, lets get back to the story;

So my phone vibrates telling me I have a text message. I look at it and it was the Jonas Brothers fan phone number. It told me they had left a message and I had to call to see what it said. I always got excited when I heard there voices! The message said:
“Hey everybody, its us, the jonas brothers. We just wanted to let you know, if you haven’t heard yet, that this summer will be burning up. That’s right, you heard us! We are going on tour this summer on our Burning Up Tour. We want to see you there so make sure you get your tickets as soon as they go on sale! We love you guys!”
And that’s how it all began.

Okay here's the first chapter! AHHH!

.1 we HAVE to go!

As soon as I heard that message, I called my two best friends-Paige and Brooke-up for an important meeting. All three of us already knew what the meeting was about. They came over to my house, and as soon as they were both there I asked them both, “Did you get the message?”
“YESSS!” they both screamed.
“Isn’t it exciting? We have to get tickets!!!!” I screamed back.
“I know, when do they go on sale?” Brooke asked.
“The message didn’t say but I looked on there website as soon as I heard the message and it says this Saturday for us.” Paige answered.
“And isn’t that tomorrow?” Brooke sounded excited.
“Oh my jonas! It is! Hey Carly? Can we just slee---” I cut Paige off.
“Yes I was thinking the same thing. I’ll go ask my mom, be right back.”
“Wait, what’s going on?” Brooke asked.
“Your such an airhead! She’s asking her mom if we can sleep over so we can buy tickets when they go on sale tomorrow!” Paige explained.
Brooke is an airhead, I thought as I walked out of my room. And it makes Paige so frustrated sometimes! It’s actually entertaining!
While I was talking to my mom, my dad asked why everyone was screaming. I told him because the Jonas Brothers concert tickets go on sale tonight and we want the best tickets. He then gave me a weird look and said, “Well I hope you get good tickets. We’ll figure something out if you don’t.”
I slowly walked back to my room thinking about what he had said, and what it could mean.
“Okay, my mom said its fine that you stay the night, if you guys wanna run home to get sleepover stuff my mom said she could take you, or you can just borrow my things.”
“Alright cool.” Brooke said.
“So should we plan our attack of getting the BEST tickets in the world!?!” Paige said, getting more excited.
“Okay, well they go on sale at exactly 12 midnight! So I say we just stay up! I mean why not?” I figure.
“Yeah, who else is going to be up at midnight waiting for them to go on sale... probably no one.” Brooke says.

--11:55pm---
“Are you guys ready?” Brooke asks very excited.
“Uh, yeah!” me and Paige say together.
With me on my laptop, and Paige on hers, and Brooke on my family computer, there wasn’t any room for doubt.
And in a few minutes we will be grabbing the front row tickets that we deserve. We all have been dedicated fans since the beginning. Getting tickets to every show they have in southern California, but we never seemed to get very good seats. But this concert had to be better somehow, we had to get up in the front!
We started to count down. “5...4...3...2...1...NOW!!!!!!”
We all got to work searching for tickets, when somebody found tickets better than the nosebleed seats we yelled to eachother: “HEY, what about these!?!” But none of them seemed good enough for us. I guess we were so picky that it just didn’t work out. By 2 in the morning ticketmaster had crashed and we were left with nothing. I guess Brooke had been wrong, there would be a lot of people waiting up for these tickets.
“Guys, look, theres still hope, a lot of people will just buy them and put them up for ebay. We’ll just check it out in the morning.” Brooke said.
“Yeah I guess she’s right. Let’s just go to sleep.” I said.

And so that’s what we did. But as I was falling asleep I couldn’t help but think of what my dad had said to me.... “Well I hope you get good tickets. We’ll figure something out if you don’t.”

okay i wrote the second chapter so im just going to post it!

.2 was it all a DREAM...no-but there’s still HOPE.

I woke around 9:30 the next morning-still tired! I just laid in my bed thinking about the night’s events. It sure was a bummer we didn’t get tickets...I was hoping it was all a dream, and that there was still a sparkle of hope.
Brooke woke up soon after. I lay staring off into space.
“Uh-hello?” Brooke said, obviously she was creeped out ‘cause I was staring right at her.
“Oh, sorry.” I sighed. “Please tell me it was all a dream.” I beg.
“What are you talking about?” She looked very confused. Either it was all a dream or sleeping really erased her memory.
“Oh my goodness-Brooke! Don’t you remember anything that happened last night?” Paige is definitely awake-and already frustrated with Brooke. She started to look less confused.
“Jonas Brothers tickets?” I tried to revive her memory.
“Oh right! I thought maybe I dreamt that!” Brooke finally got it.
“Wow...No it was real! It was fun, but we ended up with nothing. We shouldn’t have been so picky in where the seats were.” Paige thought out loud.
“Yeah we should have just bought some. But the concerts not for another two weeks- so ya never know what could happen!” I said.
“Carly-maybe your dad can hook us up! Doesn’t he work at the place that their playing at?” Brooke asked me.
“Yeah, he does, but last time at the Jonas Brothers ‘look me in the eyes’ tour, couldn’t get us very good tickets.” I said.
“But that was because it was just a few days before the concert, right? Maybe this time he can get better tickets because the tickets just went on sale!” Paige said getting very excited.
“I could definitely ask him and try. It couldn’t hurt. But I’ll ask him later, right now lets go eat breakfast...I’m starving!”
---Later that day---
After Brooke and Paige left I showered & got ready for the day, then cleaned up my room. As I cleaned, I blasted the Jonas Brothers on my iPod and pretended to be at their concert. After I finished cleaning I sat on my bed to think;
“I need to ask Dad about tickets. I don’t want him to think he has to get them but I do want him to think I want them very badly.”
Another thought popped into my head;
“He did say last night that “we could figure something out” if I don’t get tickets. Maybe he was hinting at something. What the heck...I just need to ask him.”
And that’s exactly what I did!
“Hey, Dad! Can I ask you something?” I walk up to him and try to prepare myself for whatever answer I’ll get.
“Sure, honey! What is it?” he looks at me as if he knows what I was going to ask.
“Actually-it’s a favor-kind of a big one too.” I was a bit hesitant but relaxed when he said:
“Just ask me, it can’t be that big!”
“Okay, well, the Jonas Brothers concert is actually at the venue where you work and since we couldn’t get tickets last night, do you think you could get them at work?” I was talking so fast I wasn’t sure if I got it all out.
“Well honey-it’s very hard to do-but I thought you’d never ask!”
“Wait-what do you mean?” I was very confused.
“Well I saw on my schedule that I will be working that night and I asked my boss if I could get tickets for you!” Right then he pulled out three beautiful, blue, black, & white tickets and handed them to me. I held them in my hands and screamed;
“AHHH! Daddy, thank you soo soo soo much!” I hugged him.
“No problem-did you even see where the seats are?” I hadn’t even thought of that.
“I looked: Front row, left side of stage (Nick’s side!) but close to center too. “Oh my goodness dad! These must have cost a fortune!”
“Well my boss gave them to me for half price, it was really wasn’t anything!”
“Thank you sooooo much Dad! I have to go call Paige and Brooke! I love you so much!” I gave him another hug and ran out of the room.
---On the phone with Paige & Brooke---
I had already broken the news to them and all three of us were ecstatic!
“This is sooo cool! Your dad is the best!” Brooke says.
“Hahaha, I know!” I say.
“I don’t know what I’m going to do with myself until the concert!” Paige mentions.
“I think we should make signs and shirts and all that good stuff!” I say.
“ Okay let’s just do it all after school gets out. We have finals this week and I don’t think I can handle it!” Paige says.
“Okay, sounds like a plan stan!” Brooke says.
“You are so weird.” Paige tells Brooke.
“Okay guys I gotta go but I’ll see you probably tomorrow!” I say so they don’t keep argueing.
“Alright, yeah. I gotta go too!” Paige says.
“Me too- But don’t forget-only 13 more days until the concert!” Brooke reminds us.
“AHHH! WOOHOO!” we all scream.
“We said our goodbyes and I sit on my bed just thinking of how much I love this day.

Okay sorry guys! I've been really busy!
Chapter 3 is in 2 parts because its kinda long. Im posting part 1 now and ill post part 2 later.

.3 and the Winner is...? (Part 1)

The weekend after finals were over and school was out, we only had 7 more days until the concert. Paige, Brooke, & I went to get plain t-shirts and we ironed on letters that spelt out JONAS BROTHERS. It looked really good. We were super excited!
“Okay so is this all were going to put on the shirts?” Brooke asked.
“Yeah I think we should add a little something on the back.” Paige thought out loud.
“Um, lets put like ‘we love you’ on the back.” I suggested.
“YEAH” Paige and Brooke said at the same time. “That will look awesome.” Paige said.
And so that’s what we did. We tried our shirts on when we were done ironing it and had my mom take a picture.
“You guys, these shirts look great!!! You are going to have way more fun then you guys even expect at this concert!” my mom says. She seems more excited then we are! Maybe she knows something I don’t...

---Day of the concert! ---
Paige and Brooke were at my house and we were all getting ready for the concert. We had on our best outfits and did our hair all pretty by 4 o’clock we were all ready to go.
“So the concert starts at 7 and it takes like 30 minutes to get there so let’s leave by like 5.” Paige figures.
“Yeah that sounds good. Let me just go tell my dad.” I say. I run into my dad’s room and found him sitting at the computer.
“Hey, dad? We want to leave at like 5ish. Is that okay?” I ask him.
“Uh-actually honey, I think you should get there at like 5 so maybe we should leave in like a half hour.”
“Why so early? The concert doesn’t start until 7.”
“Because of a surprise I have for you.” He walks over to his drawer and hands me an envelope. I take a look inside and scream, “AHHHH!!!!!” Inside were three backstage passes for tonight’s concert! I give him a big hug, thank him for the passes, and run out of his room screaming to go show Brooke and Paige.
“AHHH!!” we all scream when I showed them.
“This is soooooo exciting! We’re going to meet them too I bet!” Brooke says.
“I know! AHH!” Paige and I say at the same time.

And an hour and a half later we are standing backstage waiting for the Jonas Brothers to come out and greet the BP* people. (*backstage pass)
“Gee-there sure is a lot of people here with backstage passes.” Paige points out.
“Yeah, your right!” I say. There were like 30 other people (mostly girls!) also waiting for the Jonas Brothers. I didn’t know they had this many BP for a concert.
At like 5:45 the boys finally came out and announced a contest they were doing for the people with BP at this concert only.
“It’s very simple-just call your parents immediately after were done talking and if its okay with them, you can enter to win. Just fill out this form and put it in the box. If chosen, you and your party that is with you tonight can go with us on the rest of our tour! Only fill out one form per group.” Kevin & Joe announced.
Everyone broke out in omg’s and screams. I immediately called my dad, and so did Paige and Brooke. He said it was fine. Probably because there were only 2 weeks left in the tour. Paige and Brooke’s mom’s also said it was okay.
We walked up to the table to fill out a form. We wrote out all the info and put it into the box.
“Oh and by the way, we will be announcing the winner after our concert at 10:30 so come back here to see if you won!” Nick mentions.
“Alright, I’m so excited!” I say to Brooke and Paige.
“I know, I hope we win! Let’s got get in line to get a picture with them.” Brooke says.
And that’s what we did.

---During the concert-a break when the boys ran off to change---
“I am so anxious to see if we won the contest!” I said.
“Oh um, aren’t we all!?” Paige says.
“Guys, shut up! They’re back!” Brooke shouts at us.
The boys sang another two sets before the concert was over. I loved every minute of it. My favorite song was Love Bug because it was amazing and I think Nick kept looking at me-or in my direction. I kept smiling and he would smile back at me-at least I thought we did.

part 2!!!!

.3 and the WINNER is... (Part 2)

---After the concert-anxiously awaiting the news of the contest winner---
All the BP-ers were put into a room where we waited for the boys to change. When they finally came out everyone screamed. Me, Paige, and Brooke pushed our way to the front and were standing under Nick (they were standing on a table as a make-shift stage)
“Okay, so we want to announce the winners of our contest now--” Nick starts but can’t go on because of too much screaming.
After like 5 minutes of screaming he continues, “But first, we want to thank you for coming to the show tonight and to say that we love all our fans so much.” Was it just me or was he staring at me when he said that last part? Whatever, I shouldn’t get my hopes up.
“Okay can we have the envelope please...?” Joe says. Kevin gets handed an envelope and gives it to Joe.
“The winner-who will be staying with us for the rest of the Burning Up tour-is...”*Joe hands mic to Kevin*
“Carly Davis, Paige Brannon, and Brooke Williams! Where are you girls?” Kevin finishes.
“AHH!!! Right here!” We all shout.
“Okay jump up here!”
We run up on ‘stage’ and hug each of the guys. Not one of us could stop smiling.
“Sorry everyone else who wanted so badly to win! We still love you and always will!” Nick says to the losers. (Not to be mean-but they did lose!)
All the ‘losers’ slowly walk off with either sad or jealous looks on their faces.
After everyone left, all six of us hopped off the stage and Joe started giving us the info. “Okay, this is what’s going to happen: Gather al the belongings you will need and meet here at this venue by 5 tomorrow. We have to leave soon after 5 so don’t be late!”
“Alright, sounds good!” Brooke says.
“What exactly do we need?” Paige asks. That would be a good question! She always is thinking.
“Well, enough clothes for about two weeks. You can go shopping and do laundry during the tour.” Kevin says.
“Okay. This is going to be so much fun.” I say.
“Which one of you is Carly, who is Paige, and who is Brooke?” Nick asks.
“I’m Paige.”
“I’m Brooke.”
“And I’m Carly.”
Nick turns to me and says, “Oh, so you’re Carly. I saw you smiling at me during Love Bug. Do you like that song?”
“Yeah, I do a lot. I didn’t know you were looking at me!”
“Well yeah. I was smiling back at you too. You’re very pretty.” Nick says smiling.
“Ooooo! Nick has gotta crush!” Joe says teasing him.
“Shut up, Joe!” Nick mumbles.
The boys parents walk over to us, and we get introduced.
“You guys will have so much fun on tour with they boys. It’s been great so far!” Denise says.
“Yeah, but I think the boys should to get going, they have to get up early for rehearsals.” Kevin Sr. says.
“Ugh! I hate early morning rehearsals. We don’t even have a show tomorrow.” Joe complains.
“Yeah, well you’ll be meeting up with the girls later so we have rehearsal in the morning. So let’s get going! Get Big Rob and walk the girls out, then come straight to the bus. Don’t be too long!” Kevin Sr. says.
“Okay, Dad.” Nick says as his dad walks off. “Should we walk you out now?” Nick says turning back the group.
“Oookayyy.” I say a little star struck. I couldn’t believe this was happening.
The boys walk off to go get Big Rob and as soon as they were out of earshot, me, Paige, & Brooke start freaking out.
“Nick soooo likes you!” Paige says.
“Really? How can you tell?” I whisper-ask.
“Just the way he was looking at you and the way he was talking to you. It wasn’t like you were just some fan, but something more. I could just tell.” She explains.
“Yeah, me too. You guys would be so cute together. That would be so cool if he asked you out!” Brooke adds.
“I highly doubt that he would. I mean we won a contest, not a date with them. But I sure hope he does!” I say getting kinda shy at the end.
I thought about that as Paige and Brooke started talking about the concert. It was pretty cool that Nick seems into me. I have always had a crush on Nick, but just like a celebrity crush. Paige and Brooke thought I was crazy for crushing on him, but then again, they only liked them for their music and not so much their looks.
A minute later the boys came back.
“Alright! You ready?” Nick asks.
“Yup!” We girls say. Nick holds out his arm for me to link and I gladly link back and start walking. We arrive at a limo the boys got for us to ride home in and Nick gives me a hug goodbye. It was a nice hug. I hug Joe and Kevin but it just wasn’t the same as Nicks, ya know? I could tell Nick’s was something more. I could just tell.
“See ya tomorrow!” I yell out the window as we drive away. And as I was rolling up the window, out of the corner of my eye, I caught Nick blow me a kiss then smile.
My heart melted.
