Heylo people!
Um...lemme explain this to you:
I need money...and EXTREMELY FAST.
Problem is, I don't know what to do to make a TON of money really fast.
I need about...eh, $2,000 at the least.
Why, you may ask?
Because I want 2nd row JB tickets, DUH!
Yeah, and if I could make that much money, or more (like, $4,000 to pay for all the tickets I would need :P),
I would be like...THE happiest person in the world.
Another problem I have though...
Is I only have one job.
I'm getting like, $100 this week for working full day,
And then in two weeks (when I start working again)
I'm getting like $75, I think.
It's not a very profitable job, as you can see :P
I just NEED money, within like...I don't know, two weeks?
If that's possible.
I need it that quickly so I can actually BUY the tickets before somebody else steals 'em!
PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE HELP MEE!!
MY BFF AND I WOULD DIE IF WE GOT 2ND ROW TICKETS!
THANK YOU SO MUCH IN ADVANCE!
P.S. Just to help, here are some of my talents:
Singing & guitar (not so much in front of crowds though :P)
Drawing (I'm an artist)
Photography
Knitting (xD)
Um...uh yeah that's pretty much all I can think of besides like sports and stuff...so yeah, PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE HELP! THANK YOU!
Oh and P.S.S. I know, I know...I could probably just ask my mom to lend me money, but...
Then she'd get all mad at me and go all medieval on my butt.
Okay, she wouldn't, but she'd be like, furious.
She doesn't want to pay that much money for tickets unless it's coming out of MY wallet, hehe :P
So yeah, I mean, if you have a way of me being able to make money really fast,
I could ask her to order the tickets and stuff and then pay her back later, right?
PLEASE HELP! THANKS (AGAIN)!

lol, i've done that before.
other than that, lauren..i'm not sure.

I do babysit...haven't in a while, but I get like $7 an hour. Thanks anyways ;) And I could try selling stuff on eBay, but I don't know how my parents would feel about that :P
Anybody else? Please help! I'm trying to think of things, but it doesn't seem like enough.

Hello?
And also, I'm just wondering: Do you guys think that if I sold drawings (b&w, pencil only) for like, $100 each that that would be a reasonable price? And if so, who could I sell them to and stuff? JW, I need help on this guys, please :51: xD

Hmm.. well If your like superly good,
which i bet you are, then yeahh sure.
You could like offer to draw a picture of
somebody, and have then pay you at least
$75. Or, you could ask a neighbor if you
could pick up, or mow their yard?! Maybe
you could even make an offer with you mom
or dad likee you'll keep like the kitchen and
sitting room clean for an extra 30 dollars..
lol doubtful, but just trying to helpp.;]

Drawing by who? You? then maybe $10, but 100 is alot . [imo].
Theres no way to get $2,000- 4,000 soon. Dumb as this may sound, but believe you have the money, ask for it [ in your mind] and believe your gonna get it . It worked for me. I believed i would get money and what do you know? Two checks in the mail same day :o
had you just learned about the concert? If not then you should have thought of this before.
$100? At your house? For doing some things that your supposed to do already? Thats alot, if they can afford to give you a hundred dollars for working around the house then just ask for the money . Maybe ask a relative?
Clean pools?
Maybe a neighbor needs help around there house/property?
GOOD LUCK! :D

no one is going to buy a pencil drawing for 100 bucks.. sorry but it is true.
just go around to all your neighbors and ask if they have any chores around
the house that you can do to help get more money. that'll make you like.. a lot..
if you live in a rich neighborhood.

You could always make a deal with your mom.
Like offer to pay her back or something. That way you'd get the money fast but she wouldn't have to spend it.
Sorry, I don't know your mom. I'm just saying that's what my mom would go for.
As for the drawings, it depends on the quality. If they're professional-good, then 100 seems fine. Otherwise, I'd charge a little less.

You can't make $2000 to $4000 in two weeks. It's as simple as that.
I make about $100 per week, and that's because I have a good job.
Is $2000 REALLY worth it to see the Jonas Brothers?
Maybe spend a little bit less and get not quite as good seats?
If you're really good at drawing and stuff like that it CAN be profitable but the stuff has to be really good and people usually won't just buy a random drawing unless it's framed and presented really well.
Selling stuff is the best thing that I can think of that will make you money fast.
eBay is good for that kind of thing.

eBay ftw!
And it is actually possible to make up to $500 a day without leaving the house (aka; online); but you'd have to get a site with lots of visitors and take paid surveys etc...

To make that much money so quickly, you would have to work very hard doing a LOT of stuff... In a few years you will think it was really silly to try and earn $2000 for one night at a concert. There will be more concerts and actually-- I know the Jonas Brothers wouldn't want one of their fans to spend that much money on tickets. That amount of money is more than most people pay for their house for a month. Also, did you know that in some sweatshops the workers who make iPods only make $50-$100 a month? That's a max of $1200 a YEAR. Save your money and be thankful for what you have!

I agree casefasce.
but, if you really really want
this, I'll try to help.
okay, I know that you've heard
many of these examples but
I'll just put them there, anyway.
babysit
sell stuff on eBay
help someone, who
needs it?
clean the house
make the dinner
for the days, when your mom
is at work? lol
I know that I come with weird ideas
but, it's VEERYY hard to make that much money
so fast. but, yeah..

Haha yes guys, even as expensive as it is, it would be worth it to see the Jonas Brothers :P

That's what I was thinking...I guess I could give it a shot. I'd just ask (beg) her to buy the tickets and then offer to pay her back over time.
And as for quality, what do you think this kind of a drawing (http://i175.photobucket.com/albums/w156/Star_Struck1174/P1010002.jpg) would be? Just wondering, thanks. (Psst; it looks a ton better in real life, it just doesn't photograph well. And I haven't cut it or signed it yet either.)

well it is just pencil, i think you should get color in there..
then you could sell it for more.
MileyRox1174
07-07-2008, 06:39 PM
Eh, I can't use colored pencils :P Haha it's okay, I'll just try to make a deal with my mom and if all else fails...I don't know what I'll do xD

Since the economy is super bad, people might not want to give up their money! Maybe you can build a gas station. . . since they are dominating America with the price of gas! LOL! Ok, ummmmm, yardsales, selling artwork could help. Get a better job, chores, help around the neighborhood, sell anything near a crowded place. Try seeing if any family members will give ya the money are you could sell them the stuff or help them. Why $2,000 for tickets for the JBs? Crazy! Try anything that's all I can say!

This is just any idea I am shooting out for but...
You said you are a singer/guitarist, so maybe you could have
a neighborhood concert starring... YOU!!! [[[LOL]]]
Put up posters, signs, and flyers all around your nieghborhood
and in your school [maybe] for everybody to see. Hold the concert
at your neighborhood and maybe have a fee to get in... to make the
concert even better get some of your friends to pitch in.
I know that isn't a very very fast way to earn the money, but it is
possible to achieve!

I found a site called frontrowtickets.com
click here (http://www.frontrowtickets.com/index.cfm?sectionid=1057&id=10&client=2155&RPID=58261&CFID=23406296&CFTOKEN=4821e7-d9b9202d-54c9-44ec-ac0e-2163cb13ae60) I'm sorry, I can't find a way to help you out :/
but, where is the concert gonna be?
and in which section+row do you wanna be?
MileyRox1174

The concert is on August 7th...and I found the tickets and stuff, but there's no front row for anything less then what I found for second row on that site. There actually isn't any FRONT row, just second row, and those are even more money than the other tickets I found on another site (second row also)! :P
Thanks for the help, though ;)

if i were you i would ask my parents.
but since im not you, idk how you can make $4000 fast,
unless you ask your parents or grandparents. or do what isabelle said.

i agree with everyone else, your best bet is a loan from your parents, without the earning power and talent of the Jonas bros, opportunities are limited

07-09-2008, 04:19 PM
well if there was some way you could make half of the money, and your mom could pay the other half, and then you pay her back when you can, that might work. and didn't you say you wanted to take your friend too?? maybe your friend can also work on earning money too.

Thanks for the ideas, guys! Hehe actually I was thinking about asking my mom for a loan :P We went to our insurance agent and my mom and I had just cashed a check and stuff and he was joking about me needing a loan :P It's funnier than it sounds ;)
Grah I want to ask her but I'm like, nervous, I guess. Or just procrastinating...anybody have a good way to ask my mom, possibly? If so, thanks!
