How it began: Ok, so my mom thinks that I am a 'troubled' teen, but it's not my fault! I swear since I was 4, when my dad left to get milk and never returned, my mom hasn't even talked to me! Sorry, but i think when you have a child, you should talk to it every once in a while! My name is Jenna Lurkin, but I go by JC, I am 17, I have tried to run away 6 times in the past year, droped out of school, I was adopted at 6 months old, never datted, and have been cutting my self secretly for the past 2 years. So my mom put me into this program for other psyco kids called 'Letters From No Where'. I know the name sounds super safe, for all I know I could be sending a letter to some serial killer!

"Jenna, I really think it's a good idea for you to do this" My mom told me
"It's JC!" I snapped "And I don't care what you think! Your not my real mom, and I don't want to write stupid letters to someone I don't even know!"
"I will call you Jenna, that was your birth name and I will alway's call you that! And we went over this, I am you mother just not birth mother, I love you like a mother love's her own child"
"Funny way of showing it! This is the first time you have talked to me in years!" I told her "It's ok though, I know no one will ever want a girl like me right, I mean even my own mother didn't want me"
"YOU DON'T KNOW THAT!" She screamed at me "MAYBE SHE DIDN'T HAVE ANYOTHER OPTIONS! EVER THINK OF THAT!"
"I LIKED IT BETTER WHEN YOU DIDN'T TALK TO ME!" I screamed back
My mom took a deep breath "You are doing this program I sighned you up already and have to send you first letter in 3 days. Here are the rules, now get started" She gave me a little booklet and walked away
I grabed the booklet and walked up into my room to read it

Rule #4: You must tell the other person the truth about your past/present

"Joesph! It's for you own good!" My mom told me
"Yeah, maybe it will help, Joe" My younger brother, Nick, told me
"You probably just need a break from this whole 'Jonas Brother' sene" My other brother, Kevin, told me
"I don't need a break! I'm fine!!" I yelled at them all
In case you didn't guess already, I'm Joe Jonas. Yes of the Jonas Brothers, and before the JOnas brother's got popular I would have never yelled at my family, EVER! They all think something is wrong, but really nothing is!!! I'm fine.
"Joe! Stop! What's wrong?" My girlfriend, Bella, asked, grabing onto my arm
I shook her off "NOTHING!" I yelled again
"You would have never actted like this is it was a year ago!" my mom told me, like I did't know that already "Come on just try it"
"I havn't done anything wrong to talk to some psycopathic kid, possibly across the country" I told them
"You havn't been yourself, I mean you have been going out and staying out all night, what will happen if the public find out about this! Your carrer would be gone, like that!" My dad said
"IS THIS WHAT IT'S ABOUT!!" I screamed "THE PUBLIC! IS THAT ALL YOU EVER THINK ABOUT DAD!"
I suddenly felt really bad, I looked at Frankie's and everyone elses faces. They looked scared, and it's all from me. Bella started to cry
"I'm-I'm sorry" I mummbled going to hug bella but she ran out the door crying "I'll do it" I sighed hoping it would make everyone happier
"You have to read this" My mom said, handding me a booklet, with a disappointed look on her face
Everyone walked away in silence. I sat down at the kitchen table and started reading it

"Just calm down! Seriously, I hope we get our old brother back soon! I mean you scared away your girlfriend, and have you noticed Frankie hasn't talked to you in like days! He is freaking scared of you!" Nick told me

Ok I got the prefect thing to write. I got on the computer and typed the whole thing up

Dear...person,
Hi, I'm not allowed to mention me name soo just call me Tess..No wait I hate the name, just call me Carly. Just because I have to write to you for what...5 months, doesn't mean I have to be nice, or like you! I don't trust many people soo I'm soo not telling you my story now, probably never!!!! Yeah, so what if I break the freaking rules! I'm not trusting some guy I don't even know with my life! It's my life, my problems, not your's!! What ever, this letter is over! Write back so we can get this over with.

Karii''s P.O.V

"Grrr" I said picking up yet another beer bottle from my sister's party laast night.
"I know, I know. But we need to clean this whole place before your mom gets home. You don't want to get introuble again, do you?" my friend Sam asked. She has been living with me for about a year since she ran away from home and I love having her here, if I had to deal with my sister and mom all alone, I WOULD DIEEEE!!!
"Of course not!" I said "Your right let's just get this over with"
You know what I find soooo wierd? My sister makes these big party's that everyone in town know's about, but my mom still blames me!!!!
About an hour later we finally finished cleaning up right when my mom walked into the house
"Hi hunny" My mom said running over to me giving me a hug
"Hi mom" I replied hugging her back
I know she might seem nice now, but she is bipolar, and if you don't know what that means, it means she has multi personality's. One minute she is happy and fine, the next she is evil and yelling and screaming at me, and ONLY me!!
"And hello Sam!" My mom said giving her a hug too.
My mom think's since Sam has been living here for about a year, it's not wierd at all to treat her like her child
"Hi Mrs. Greene" Sam said slightly huging her back
My mom's whole facial expression changed as soon as she heard the last name 'Greene' "Samantha, I thought I told you before, NEVER call me that. Not since that-that HUMAN walked out on me and my children" My mom said trying not to lose it
My mom refuses to be called Mrs. Greene ever since my dad walked out after a HUGE fight with my mom when I was about four. Then my mom moved us across the country to Rhode Island so he couldn't find us again.
"Right, sorry Mrs. Gr- I mean, sorry" Sam stuttered
"Call me Liz" My mom told her
"Ok, Liz" Sam said
My mom did a quick glance around the room and stoped in the middle of her search "What's that?"
I tried looking where she was looking but I didn't see anything "What's what?"
My mom marched over to one of our many couches and picked up a beer bottle and a man's shirt "What are these!!!!!!!" She shouted
"Oh ****" I mummbled and looked at Sam who's eye's widden.
"Sam, please go up stairs while I talk to my daughter" My mom said through her teeth
Sam didn't reply she just ran as fast as she could up the stairs
"I thought I told you NO MORE PARTY!!!!!!!" My mom screamed at me
"It wasn't me" I said not raising my voice at all
She laughed "Oh really? Who was it then?"
"It was Erin!" Erin was my sister's name
"Stop blaming everything on her! She is a good child! Unlike my other one!" She told me, I was her only other kid she has.
I started crying "But it wasn't me I swear! Why don't you believe me?"
"Because, Erin would never do something like that!" My mom screamed "Now you are not allowed out of your room for a week!!!!!!!!!" My mom through the stuff and me and walked away
I picked them up and through them out. I ran up to my room and started crying.

Leni's P.O.V

"Please mom!!" I beged my mom
"I don't under stand why you even need this, you are a good kid, name one reason you need this program" my mom told me
I rubbed my newly cut wrists where I have been cutting my wrists since I was ten. "I just want to met new people, please mom" I lied. I wanted help with all my problem's. I have been cutting my self, my dad abuses me, and I hang out with a whole bunch of idiots who have got me drunk about 4 times
"But it's probably to late to sign up" My mom tried to get me out of this thing
"No! Tomorrow it the last day you can sign up" I said
"Fine, it's free, right?" My mom asked
"Yes" I lied, it was $50 but I could pay myself
"Ok" She said grabbing the sign up sheet and filling it out "Here" She said when she was done "Are you sure you want to do this, there are soo many other way's to met people besides this"
"I'm sure!" I said happily grabing the sheet out of her and "Thanks" I gave her a kiss on her cheek and ran up stairs.
I went into my dresser and pulled out $50 my grandma sent me for my birthday. I put the sign up sheet and the money in an envolp and closed it. I ran down stair's and put the envolp in the mailbox.

"What should I write?" I asked myself tapping my pen on my note book. "Got it!"


Hi person,
The packet said I can't tell you my real name, so jsut call me Dani. I don't know if I can trust you with ll of my secret's but, again, the packet said I have to. I guess the first step to curing your problem's is to face them, right? :). Well any way, I have been cutting myself since I was ten, and neither my mom or dad know. My dad has been abusing me since he got fired from his dream job two years ago, he has blames me for it every day of those two years. And I hang out with the worst possible people, they are all into drugs and drinking. I don't do drugs but I have gotten drunk 4 or more times. My mom thinks I'm perfect though, I don't understand it, I guess it's because I'm her only child and because she doesn't know anything that I do. So those are all my secret's, I guess I'll get into more detail in future letter's. Well that's all I can really say for now.

And your friend's suck. Why do you hang out with them? All my friends are great! I cut my self, too, but I only started like 5 months about, so I can relate to that. My mom is bipolar so sometimes she is the nicest mom ever, but something stupid can set her off.
