It doesn't really sound like Miley on the first impression no but you don't really hear her say a lot. My guess is that it will be easier to tell in the movie.

You can't hear her a lot in the trailer, but I bet in the movie she talks a lot, her character is one of the most important ones.

Miley's the second lead after John Travolta, their names are the only two on the promo poster. So yeah Miley does have a big part.

We won't actually know how big the part is until you see the movie. I've seen promo posters with names on them where the actors involved only had tiny parts. But seeing the story revolves around Bolt saving Penny she would have a major part in it, though I don't know if she'd have the second most lines. Bolt's sidekicks might have more lines.

The movie actually looks really cool. And I tend to hate the Pixar stuff(unpopular opinion, I know). I prefer the traditional 2D animation, but this does look pretty awesome. And look, she's not yelling out her lines. Take note HM directors. lol.

In Miley's first ever acting role her name was Ruthie so the answer to question one is no :).

Doesn't it? It's Disney 3D, so I just automatically assumed Pixar. Miley's character looks a lot like Violet from the Incredibles.:)

Bolt is Walt Disney Feature Animation, Wall-E is this years Pixar movie. Walt Disney Animation is pretty much the production company that used to do the classic animation movies but got into computer animation at a later point (like last year they released Meet the Robinsons).

Pixar is basically a company that started as a daughter company of Apple Computers but it became a company on its own and was bought by Disney a couple of years ago.

So Disney just owns two complete computer animation studios that don't have anything to do with each other. The 3D part isn't actually that difficult to do once they have all the scenes animated, they just have to render them in both 2D and 3D.

This movie kind of reminds me of Oliver and Company. John T seems to be channeling Dodger a little, which is cool, since O&C is a really good little movie. I think the Hamster is going to be the Tito. "Hey man, if this is torture, chain me to the wall." I love Oliver and Company. So underrated. lol.

So it's a show within a show. That's cool. The cat and the hamster are going to steal it right out from Travolta's nose, I can all ready feel it. I think the cat is Susie Essman from Curb Your Enthusiasm.

Anyone else love how it starts the same as a horror movie, with a phone call? I thought that was pretty cool.

I think the first part is the show within the movie. From what I can gather, the dad is a scientist who makes the super dog Bolt to protect his daughter, but then the daughter is kidnapped or something, and the dog actually thinks it's real, but it's just part of the show. That's my understanding.
