If this was a movie, we'd have a shot of all of us embarking on our journey.

Leaving from different places but all heading the same way. I leaned back in my airplane chair.

It wasn't all that comfortable on the plane let me tell you. The dude next to me was snoring.

But I can't say I wasn't used to it. My boyfriend Joe snored like a pig.

I wonder if he missed me? He hasn't seen me in like two years. I think I've changed a bit since then.

I fingured my nose ring. It was a dumb idea, but I think I looked okay with it in.

This was my first time going to LA. And probably, my last. The jet lag was getting to me.

Big time. I tried not to think about Travis. I knew he'd be there.

I had heard of the big scandal with Nick Jonas and Travis's sister Dani.

No surprise. Dani owed me. She told me that Travis liked me. And I had ditched him.

I haven't spoken to him in two years as well.

I don't know WHY they are making a big deal out of me. I amd FINE. Hear that? FINE. I looked down at the car lights below me.

Glinting nicely in the dark. When you are looking at them probably for the last time, you really have to lean back and admire these things.

I was on the edge of my building. Maybe, I wasn't okay. I just couldn't take it anymore, okay?

I had reached the end of it. I leaned a bit further over my twenty-third floor story building. I stopped.

Was it really this bad? No, I don't think so. Wait, he broke my heart. And I was better off dead with the way things have been going besides that.

I closed my eyes, than I heard a door slam inside my apartment somewhere.

"DANI!" a voice cried. My eyes snapped open. I see my brother's plane has arrived safely. God.

Travis

People really don't want to give me a break do they? If they expect me to be all happy go lucky all the time, well bite me.

And to learn that your sister is a suicidal physcopath on the same day? Well buddy, too much for me.

I looked at Dani, my fifteen year old sister, standing in her pajama pants and Avenged Sevenfold tshirt, teetering on the edge of the balcony.

"Oh. My. GOD DANIKA!" I shouted. I never, almost NEVER used her full name. But this time, I was freaked.

"Hi Travis. Go AWAY," she shouted.

"Dani, Dani," I said, sweating. "You have everything in the world to live for! Now PLEASE come down NOW!" I cried.

She jerked her red head angrily in my direction.

"WHAT ARE YOU SAYING?!" she shouted.

"I DUNNO! I SAW IT ON TV ONcE!" I shouted back. She fell silent and I just watched her.

I was so afraid. I didn't want to lose my only little pain in the as* sister. I couldn't. She looked down.

"Just go home Trav," she whispered. I shook my head and dragged her over the balcony.

She didn't fight me.

I thought about this. All day. I was not gonna go all spastic when I saw Serra. As much as I missed her, I think I grew out of that.

I sat there and watched my brothers instead. You'd be AMAZED how interesting it is to watch them.

Kevin was sitting upside down with his feet in the air watching TV. A fly floated near his face.

He swatted it away and continued staring blankly at the TV screen. Nick was sitting silently in the corner.

He had "Gone With The Wind" open on his lap. Don't ask me why he was reading a girl's book.

I really had no idea. I was just getting used to the quiet when the doorbell rang. I sprang up and sprinted to the door.

Yanking it open, I was disappointed to see not Serena, but Lynetta standing there with her bags.

"Hey Joesph," she said smiling. I tried not to let my disappointment show through.

"Hey Lyn, Kevin's being a mindless drone. Go right on in," I said. She smiled and walked through the door.

Right as I shut the door and made to walk away, the doorbell rang again.

I held onto Dani. I didn't feel right about dropping her. So I picked her up honey-moon style and carried her into her apartment.

She was crying into my shoulder. Me, being the incompassionate person that I am, tossed her onto her bed.

She lay in a heap in her comforter. I didn't know what else to do. I did the only thing a guy in my position could do.

I picked up my phone, and called my mom.

"Travis? Hi honey! How was the flight?" my mom asked. I tried not to roll my eyes too much.

I had refrained from telling my parents too much about Dani, but I guess I couldn't now.

She had just tried to kill herself for god's sake.

"Mom, listen. I need you and dad her. Now. It's about Dani. And it's serious," I said.

"Honey, what's wrong? Can you-" she began, but I cut her off.

"Don't ask questions PLEASE mom! I need you here okay?" I pleaded. She gave in and hung up.

I did too and called Lynetta.

I wasn't TOO happy to see Kevin. And I'm not being sarcastic either. Seeing as how he had read my entire STUPID BLOG, I wasn't all too thrilled.

But thankfully he just smiled and hugged me. He hadn't mentioned it, and by the smile he gave me, I knew he wouldn't.

I sank down into the seat next to him and waved to Nick. He gave me a little smile and went back to his book.

A chick's book. It was kind of creepy. I shook it off and was about to ask Kevin something when my phone rang.

"Hello?" I asked into it.

"Lynetta. PLEASE come over here. I need you too."

"Travis? Why what's wrong?" I asked. Travis sounded weird. After I had just met Serena, I could justify weird.

Joe and her weren't talking. Just staring in silence.

"Tell you later, just PLEASE come to Dani's will you?" Travis begged. I assured him I would, then hung up.

I looked around the room.

"Who has a car?"

I heard them talking about me. I wasn't deaf. My mom who had just pretty much flew a thousand miles in an hour, with my dad.

Lynetta, who was just flipping through my Frasier disks, which I had long since abandoned.

"What should we do Frank?" I heard my mom whisper urgently to Dad. Travis had filled them ALL in.

Except for the part where I almost sky dived without a parachute over my balcony, to which I was extremely grateful.

But me cutting myself wasn't all that safe. Travis leaked that right when our parents were within two feet of him.

"I don't know dear. I can't believe a BOY would just do this to her," Dad whispered. I buried my head deeper into my blanket.

A boy? Just a boy? He wasn't just a boy. He was like my one true love. THE one. Don't get me wrong, I hated his guts intestines and skin right now, but I still loved him.

"I know a great therapist," Mom said. I froze.

"So Serena, how you been?" Joe asked. I don't know why it was so awkward around them now.

Usually you would need a crow bar and some nail polish remover just to get them an inch away from each other.

Now they were just sitting there. Not even looking at each other. I think it was the fact that Serra's hair was browner.

Or the nose ring. That definetly threw me off. Kevin had disappeared for a bit to drop Lyn of at Dani's.

I wish I went with them. I'm pretty sure Dani's WAY happier than I am. And I was reading my mom's book.

WHAT IS WRONG WITH ME? I closed the book and tried to listen to Serena's description of her classes.

I was probably gonna ask Lynetta to take me to Dani's tomorrow. I'd BEG her. I had to see her.

Even though I didn't know at the time that Lynetta wasn't going to be staying with us after all.

So maybe I'm not exactly thrilled. Lynetta is sleeping over at Dani's. Don't ask me why.

I was a bit mad when Lyn informed me of this. I can't lie and say I wasn't hoping to spend a bit of alone time with her.

Even though she's only supposed to be my friend. Because after I dumped Brooke like a hot potatoe, there's no denying that I don't love her.

I just have no clue if she's given up on me yet. Seeing as how she gave up on her blog.

That was kind of mean of me. To read her personal diary sort of. I would be REALLY mad if someone did that to me.

Not that I have a diary. I don't, but if I did, I would murder the person. I glance over at the clock.

12 o'clock at night. The first day anyone has arrived and thanks to Danika, I wouldn't be able to spend a minute with Lynetta.

And I wasn't happy that Travis was spending the night there too.

My parents had left awhile ago. But that didn't explain why Dani hadn't moved for three hours.

Me and Lynetta just stared at her. I knew she was crying and dude, I felt bad. I had just narced on her.

And she has to go to THERAPY. EVERY DAY. I mean, I've had MY share of therapy and it wasn't all that fun.

In fact, my parents told me I might need rehab today before they left. Not that I drink, it's probably because I was acting like such a basketcase.

"What do you think we should do?" Lynetta whispered. I shrugged.

"Let her cry? She's probably gonna be more out of this apartment than in starting tomorrow," I said.

Dani, for the first time in three hours, jerked her head up to look at me. Dude, it was The Bride of Frankenstein meets Freddie Krouger.

It was scary the look she gave me.

"Want me to show you guys your rooms?" she asked. I didn't want to ask but I got up and followed her out of the room.

We walked down a hallway and Dani opened a door to reveal a nice deep blue room with......one bed.

"Holy GOD NO!" I shouted the minute a saw the bed. Travis replied with,

"Hell no. No way Jose."

Dani was laughing, which I didn't appreciate.

"I'll buy an air mattress tomorrow seeing as how we'll be out anyway," she said. Travis winced.

She smirked in a good immatation of her brother.

"Sleep tight, don't worry Lyn, he doesn't bite," she said. The minute she shut the door I turned to Travis.

"I'm sleeping on the floor," I said. Travis rolled his eyes and said,

"C'mon! I showered a few days ago!" He gave it away by laughing.

"That," I said jabbing a finger into his chest. "Is NOT funny."

He patted me sympathetically on the shoulder.

"It actually is."

So, I spent the night with Travis Garrett, drummer of the band Skeletons in The Closet, in the same bed.

Half the girls in middle America would kill to be me, I'm so sure. Only it sucked for me.

I walked into my new room with Joe trailing silently behind me. We haven't spoken more than one or two words to each other.

It was sad. I haven't seen him in two years and no conversation whatsoever.

Nil, zilch. I shut the door after him and plopped my bag down on the bed.

I looked at him. If it had been a few years ago, I would have been all over him.

Seriously. But now, I didn't know what to do.

"So," I began awkwardly. "How've you guys been?"

"Good," Joe said nodding and taking my hand. He held it awkwardly.

Like he was trying to remember how we used to do it. Just as abruptly as he had held it, he dropped it.

"Night Serena," he said. He then headed out the door. I slumped on the bed in a heap.

So it was kind of mean for me to make them share a bed. Well, Travis deserves it. He ratted on me.

And saved me from ruining my life. Or ending it. I heard them arguing all night.

"Shut up I'm trying to sleep!"

It was entertaining. Very much so. I glanced over at my sock drawer. One that I had not opened in three years.

Seems alot? Not really, trust me. When your heart is broken, time flies by. I took out my phone.

It was dusty and I have to say I missed it. Nick had held it once. I knew he had. I turned it on.

It vibrated like a person stretching after a long nap. Seeing the familiar screen saver, made me start crying again.

Me and Nick? I haven't seen those two people in a very long time. One's gone and the other's just lost.

So maybe things weren't going well. Okay, the were going HORRIBLY. What was wrong with us?

What happened during the two years we were apart? I can tell you what happened to me, I met someone.

It's low. EXTREMELY bottom-feeding low, but I can't help it. Kami was there as an extra crew member at Camp Rock.

What was I supposed to do? But I remembered Serra. Everything we did together just made it harder to look at her now.

I didn't cheat on her, but I guess I'm getting bored with her. Which is totally sexest and discrimnating, but I can't figure out another way to say it.

I was thinking about this as the sun peaked through the cracks in my blinds. I slugged my way out of bed and ran a hand through my hair.

It was a mess and my breath smelt bad and I really needed a shower. I headed into the bathroom and brushed my teeth and my hair.

When I made it back into my room, Serena was in there.

"Serra? What's up?" I asked. She jumped about a foot when I came in, now she looked shy again.

That nose ring. What was she THINKING?

"Um, nothing," she said. I sighed and shut the door.

"Sit," I said. "We need to talk."

Dani

"Hi, I'm Dr. Stewart, and how are you feeling today Danika?"

I sank down further into my seat in the waiting room of the physciatrist's office.

"Like crap?" I suggested. Travis, who had taken me there was busy checking out Dr. Stewart.

She was tall and blonde and looked like she just got out of college. Dr. S's face cringed at my response.

"Oh, than come in please," she said, then she saw Travis who raised a hand in a hello.

"Oh, hello," Dr. S, who just told me to call her Susan, said.

"Hi, I'm Travis. Dani's brother," he said. Susan gesturered for Travis to follow us into her room.

He sank onto a couch in the corner and picked up a Rachael Ray magazine. I sat rigidly on the shrink couch.

Susan, seated herself delicately on her chair facing my couch.

"So, Danika, can you fill this out for me?" Susan asked, handing me a sheet. It was a survey.

I looked at the first question as Susan handed me a pen.

I have/had depressing thoughts:
a) recently
b) awhile ago

I circled a and moved on. I didn't have anymore problems until question twenty six.

I have/had thoughts of suicide:
a) true
b) false

Susan, upon seeing my hesitation said,

"Please answer honestly."

I rolled my eyes and sighed. And circled the A again.

I watched Kevin pace in the kitchen. I felt a bit bad as Lynetta retold of her night at Dani's.

I got increasingly jealous when Lynetta said she had to go back to Dani's after three o'clock.

When Kevin asked her what they were doing, Lyn didn't answer. I then plucked up the courage to say,

"Lyn? Can I go with you to Dani's?"

Everyone looked at me in shock. I guess it wasn't a good idea to visit your ex when she hates your head, toes and everything in between.

Boy, were they right.

"Are you sure Nick?" Kevin asked. I hopped onto the kitchen counter and shrugged.

"I have to see her sometime," I said, sounding more casual than I felt. My heart was banging out of my chest.

"She's kind of......sad Nick," Lyn said. I looked at her. She had bags under her eyes from (no doubt) sleeping with Travis.

The dude snored. I should know. I spent the night with him in the same room.

"I don't care. I need to see her Lyn. Please?" I pleaded. Lyn sighed and shrugged.

"Whatever."

Serena

"What about?" I asked. Joe took my arm and pulled me down on the bed.

The entire room was just like Joe. It was his whole personality right there.

"What have we done in the past two years?" Joe said. I looked down at the floor.

"I haven't left school," I said. Joe flushed and that made me narrow my eyes.

"Why?" I asked suspiciously. Joe turned a pretty mauve color.

"No reason," he said.

"You met someone else didn't you?!" I cried. I didn't know where that acusation came from, but it jumped out of my throat.

"No!" Joe cried. I was still heavily suspicious.

"Of course I didn't! How can you say that?! Don't you trust me?!" Joe yelled.

I stepped back. I had just said the magic words into an argument.

"Of course I trust YOU I don't trust anyone else!" I shouted back.

"Well you're JUST GONNA HAVE TO LEARN!" Joe shouted and he flew from the room, slamming the door behind him.

I crumpled onto his bed. This was un-stinking believable. My own boyfriend has fallen out of love with me.

Unbelieveable. And before I knew it, a tear trickled down my cheek.

"You know you could've been nicer to Susan," I told Dani on our way back to her apartment.

She sat grumpily in the front seat next to me staring out the window in a huff.

"Just because you liked her doesn't mean I have to," she replied angrily. I pretended to be stung by this.

"Aw, Dani. Now that hurt," I whined. She shot me a look of pure disdain, and I smiled.

We pulled up to her apartment and I got out and she stomped ahead of me in anger.

Dani

This is COMPLETELY unfair! THERAPY?! ARE THEY KIDDING?! It was a complete DISASTER the entire three hour session.

It was all I could do from not pulling out my iPod and blaring Mama by My Chemical Romance as loudly as I could in Susan's face.

I slammed the door to my apartment with Travis right behind me. He had to open the door again as I stomped my way to my couch.

"Dani, it wasn't that bad," he said. I looked at him with raised eyebrows.

The only highlight of that day was Susan saying how much her husband loved mine and Travis's music.

Seeing Travis's face at the word husband was hysterical. Little did I know that MORE misfortune was coming my way like a whirlwind.

Or was it misfortune?

"You sure you want to do this?" Lynetta asked as we drove down the rode. The familiar road to Dani's that I haven't taken in awhile.

"Yeah," I said, even though my heart was preforming a whole drum solo in my chest. "I need to see her Lynetta. You just don't understand."

"You're right about not understanding," Lynetta said. I sighed. The aparment we pulled up to sent me reeling.

A wave of memory came back to me and it hurt. Bad. Like someone sank a metal spike into my heart.

It affected every nerve in my body and I started having second thoughts as me and Lyn climbed the stairs to Dani's.

When we reached the top, Lyn knocked and Travis hastily answered. It was the first time I had seen Travis in awhile.

Today he looked more disgruntled than ever. Especially when he saw me.

"Oh crap," he muttered. I blushed. I knew I should've asked Travis first.

"What the freak are you doing here?" he asked. Only he didn't say freak. I shrugged.

"Can I just see her?" I asked. Travis tousled his hair a bit than shrugged.

"Fine, but we are not accountable for any injuries you are most likely to recieve," he said.

At that, I turned white. Travis had already stuck his head in and said,

"Uh, Dan. Someone's here to see you." I was breathing hard as Travis opened the door a bit wider.

I saw Dani sitting there, her hair was as red as ever and pulled neatly at one side into a barrett.

At first she just stared. I waved kind of shyly. I was thinking, "This is gonna be okay." Until I opened my trap and said,

"Hey Dani."

Then she opened her mouth and shouted,

"Get. Out. NOW!" Then she stared throwing stuff at me. Pillows, boxes, everything she could grab.

Travis immediately went over to grab his little sister, but a bit too late because a huge tin garbage can came sailing through the air and hammered me in the head.

It sent me off my balance and I collapsed by the door next to Lynetta's feet.

"GET THE FREAK OUT OF MY APARTMENT JONAS!" she screamed as Travis put her into a headlock.

Only like her brother, she didn't say freak.

That is it. That is SO it. I just yelled and got into the first argument I have EVER had with Serena.

It was so unreal. And how she knew I found someone other than her, was still a mystery to me.

I sank down onto the toilet with the lid down, and listened to the water I was running in the bathtub.

I felt awful. How could I've done that to her? What I really wanted to do was to make everything go back to normal.

You know, every chance we get, we're attatched to each other by the lips and tounges? Yeah, then.

That would be nice. That would actually be GREAT. Far better than THIS.

It turned out that I had to take Nick back to his place instead of Lyn, who was restraining Dani.

"I told you so," I repeated to Nick. He was rubbing his forehead where the garbage can had collided with it.

It had been pretty funny, actually. I give my sister MAJOR props for THAT one.

"Well, how was I supposed to now she was gonna murder me?" he asked. I looked at him sideways as I drove.

"Dude, where have you been for the past year and a half?" I asked. Nick sighed.

"Far away from your sister and regretting every minute."

Than it hit me. Full on like an atom bomb. He really did love her. Huh. Imagine that.

My sister finally gets a guy who really did wanna be with her and she blew it.

Or, rather HE blew it. I pulled up to the Jonas's and locked the doors for a minute so Nick couldn't get out.

"I'm gonna try. Okay?" I said. Nick looked confusedly at me.

"Try what?" he asked. I rolled my eyes.

I have to stop doing this, seeing as how my dad told me, after he was sick of me doing it back when I was 17 and told me my eyeballs would fall out if I did it so much.

My high school self had responded, "Cool, no more tests or reading." So, buddy you can bet it didn't stop me.

"To get you two back together you moron," I said. Nick blinked.

"Oh. Thanks Trav. I never thought you liked me-" he began.

"I don't," I said. Nick looked a little offended, so I said, "But I'm beginning to." Nick gave me a smile, and I decided to follow him inside.

My head was still reeling from that conversation. I was sitting on the couch next to Kevin.

He had heard the commotion upstairs and knew I was upset so he kept his trap shut.

I was beginning to feel a bit better before I heard the front door open.

And then came in a person that made my heart sink. Travis, looking as hot as ever came in behind Nick.

It was weird to think of Travis as hot. I mean I had gone through all my old diaries and I did used to have a crush on him.

Big time. And Joe had known. And he didn't mind......

"Hey," Travis said polietly to me. I blanched remembering that I hadn't spoken to him in a year.

"Hey," I responded. Then Nick, launched into the story of what happened at Dani's and why there was a big welt on his head.

But I wasn't listening. I was too busy looking at Travis. Who was looking back at me.

He was taller. His hair longer, and his eyeliner darker. It reminded me of when I first met him.

All those years back.

I was a little miffed that Lynetta didn't take Nick home, instead of Travis. I mean, WHERE WAS SHE?

And was I EVER gonna get to spend time with her? And I did notice the way Travis and Serra were looking at each other.

Apparently, so did Nick, because we averted our attention polietly away. I didn't see the point.

They were, (or at least Serra was seeing as how Travis had jerked his gaze from her and was listening to Nick's story with a smirk on his face) fully not paying attention.

I tried to listen to Nick, but watched sadly as he went to the kitchen to get an ice pack.

"Where's Lyn?" I asked, breaking the silence that had started once Nick had stopped talking.

"Probably finding a leash and a muzzle for Dani," Travis said and he picked up his jacket.

"I should go too. See you." And he was gone. Serena let out a sigh as the door closed behind him.

Weeeird.

My head hurt. Even though I was pretty sure it was Nick's head that should be hurting right now.

But instead, it was my head that felt like it got attacked by a vacum cleaner. I felt tears slide down my face for no paticular reason.

Lynetta was watching me in dismay. I looked at her and hastily wiped my eyes.

"What?" I asked trying to sound like I wasn't crying.

"You could've let him talk you know," she said. I sighed gustily and sank my head into the white leather of my couch.

The same couch me and Nick spent so much time on a few years ago.

"No way. Not after what he did to me," I said. Lyn sighed also and sat down on the couch next to me.

"C'mon. Don't be so hard on him. He still likes you you know," she said. Well. You can knock me down with a feather.

"Whatever." I sounded a lot more unhappy than I felt. I was still mad, I was, but I wanted to give him another chance.

Maybe.

"I'm going out," I told Nick who was holding a bag of frozen peas to his forehead. Poor Nick.

He just got his block knocked off by his ex girlfriend. Sad.

"Where?" he asked me from the couch.

"No where," I said stiffly. I walked as fast as I could out of the house before I had a chance of running into Serra.

That wouldn't be fun considering where I was going. My hair in a hat and wearing sunglasses, I hurried down the road.

Took a quick turn into a park and saw a blonde hair girl sitting there. My heart warmed. I felt relaxed for the first time in awhile.

"Kami!" I shouted. She turned and smiled. She ran up to me and hugged me. It was a FRIEND hug, I swear to God.

I felt bad though, about doing this to Serena. It was wrong, wrong, wrong, wrong WRONG.

But, I liked Kami too much.

"Joe! Ohmigod I missed you!" she cried. I smiled at her, but inside I was kicking myself. "Did you do it?" she asked.

My face crumpled.

"D-do what?" I asked, even though I knew perfectly well what she was gonna say.

"Break up with her. Your girlfriend."

I grimaced and sank down onto a bench with Kami following me closely.

"I can't do it Kami," I finally said. Kami blinked at me from next to me.

"Why?" she asked.

"I guess I still like her."

So it wasn't a good idea. So sue me. I got to see her. In REAL LIFE actually. And boy was I reaping the consequences.

My head was throbbing and it HURT. I glanced at Kevin who was flipping through the channels on the TV.

He missed Lyn. It was funny really how crazy it was drivingh him. Sad, but funny all the same.

"Do you think I should go back?" I asked Kevin.

"No," he said without even looking at me or pausing to think. I shifted my pea bag.

"Why not? She can't stay mad at me forever?" I asked. Kevin rolled his eyes at Billy Mayes's Oxy Clean.

"Yeah, she probably can," he snapped. By his tone, I figured he wasn't in the mood for talking.

I fell silent and watched a comercial for TRLs new band playing tomorrow night. The Love Project.

It didn't register on me that I was seeing Dani on TV with her new band until the TV Dani started talking.

And I dropped the frozen pea bag.

There relationship is apparently on the rocks. I don't even know if I should be happy about this or not.

I was very happy to escape dysfunction junction back in the Garrett's house and was glad to go to see Kevin.

The love of my life. Even if he doesn't know it yet. But, instead of meeting Kevin in the living room, I met Serena.

Serena is an odd little character in my opinion. She's oddly quiet whenever she's around people.

Which, according to my description that Kevin gave me awhile ago, she isn't AT ALL quiet.

"Hey Lynetta," she said in her quiet voice. I smiled and said,

"Hey Serena. What's up? You okay?" She gave me a grim smile and shook her head. I took that as a signal to ask.

"Okay," I said sinking onto the couch beside her. "Spill."

She did. A million tears and a very complicated story.

"TRAVIS! NO! NO NO NO!" I screamed as Travis pulled up to a house after my trip to the physcologist's.

"Dani, stop being such a wuss," he said. I glared at him. He was wearing a weird hat, eyeliner and his motorcycle gloves.

My brother is so weird.

"I'm not being a wuss you loser, I just don't want to see the kid," I snapped. He unlocked the door, and wrestled me out of the car.

"JUST-GET-IN," He grunted as he dragged me over the threshold. I was putting up a good fight for my brother though.

Even though when we got in, we were greeted by the sight of Serena and Lynetta. Travis let go of me and slammed the door before I could leave.

Travis didn't even look twice at Serena, even though I knew he saw her.

"Where's Nick?" he asked to the room at large.

"NO!" I screamed, but before I could scream enough, Nick came in through the door.

The minute I saw Nick come in, I knew that Dani was gonna go homicidal. I grabbed her by the wrist as she fought to get away.

"Nick," I said, grabbing him in my other hand. They were both struggling now. More Dani than Nick though.

"Now talk," I said throwing them into a room under the stairs. "Without murdering each other."

I locked the door too. The minute the lock clicked and I walked back into the living room, Serena was dashing up the stairs.

I glance questioningly at Lynetta.

"Please Trav," she said getting up and moving towards me. She took hold of my arm and shook it.

"Talk to her. Please? For me?" she begged. I rolled my eyes.

"Just because you say 'For me' everytime you want me to do something doesn't me I'll do it," I said.

Lyn looked at me. Her blue eyes were drilling a hole through my freaking forehead.

"She's upset. She needs a friend. You've known her longer than I have. Please?" she said. She didn't beg though.

I pried her hands off me and followed Serena up the stairs.

I hope Travis wakes up underwater tomorrow. Dani shifted in the little room that he had locked us in.

We were both on the floor. I had the feeling it was on me to start the conversation. If there even was gonna be a conversation.

"Listen Dani," I began. She didn't look at me. She was busy looking at the palm frond next to her.

Probably thinking of hurling it at my head.

"I'm sorry. I really am. Can't we just let bygones be bygones?" I asked. For the first time, she looked at me.

Having those gray blue eyes looking at me for the first time in the longest time, it felt weird. And good.

"Listen Jonas," she said. The sound of her voice also felt good.

"I'm not willing to forgive," she said. I felt my heart sink. "But I'll forget."

I smiled and she shot me a small one. But hey, it was a start.

I knocked on the door. I don't know what I was getting myself into. Hadn't I just gone through the lousiest time because of this girl?

"It's opened," she said. It was so quiet though, I had to lean in to hear it. That wasn't the Serena I remembered.

The loud one? The immature one? Yeah, that one. Had the girl I loved in high school gone on hiatus?

I pushed open the door. She gasped when she saw me. I leaned calmly on the door frame.

"Travis," she said getting up and standing in front of me. I was giving her the dead eye.

"Why are you here? I thought you didn't care if me and Joe broke up or not," she said.

Broke up? What? They didn't break up......I'm pretty sure they didn't.

"I never said that and you know it," I said stonily. I was being a jerk to her on purpose.

She totally deserved it.

"I-I know," she said. Than before it she made this strangled yell, and started gusing tears.

And she also buried her face into my neck and flung her arms around me. She hasn't hugged me like this before.

Or hugged me in awhile that is. I didn't know what to do, so I just patted her tentatively on the back.

I'm not breaking down. I'm NOT. If she thinks I'm not mad at her anymore, well she's got another think coming.

So really, trully and honest to God, it felt good to have Nick back. As a friend at least. But really, I wasn't willing to forgive.

Or forget for that matter. True, we were locked in there for a decent half hour because SOME PEOPLE forgot we were in there.

I glanced at Nick who was walking around the room. Like there was much room to walk. Really, I didn't want to talk to anyone.

Bygones be bygones? I'm sorry but does he REALLY think that I am not still in pain? It hurts to even look at him.

I tried not to think back to those days. Those days that seemed like forever that I spent with Nick.

Like it would never end. But than BAM! it did. Does he know how much he hurt me? Does he know that I am in THERAPY because of him?

I felt low. Lower than low. I don't know why I wanted to hug Travis so badly than.

I just did. And it did make me feel better. To grab hold of my best friend and just not let go.

I missed the way Travis smelt. Which is really weird, but I did. He hasn't changed much.

Except for the fact that he doesn't talk to me anymore. This was further implied for the fact that he peeled me off him.

Then he slipped out the door and just left. Without a word to me.

Then I felt so shallow. I had dumped my best friend, now he's dumping me.

I sank down onto the bed thinking that things couldn't get any worse when Joe came in.

Usually when I see Joe, it is a sign that things are gonna get better.

Now it's a warning sign for me to keep quiet because everything was going to get bad.

I don't even know why we don't get along anymore. I just reread all my old journals and....we were nuts about each other.

No need to quote.

"Serena?" he said coming slowly into the room.

I looked up shyly.

"Yeah?"

"Lyn!" I shouted chasing her down the stairs. She turned and smiled.

"Geez Kevo. I know I haven't seen you in awhile but it's only been a day," she teased.

I smiled.

"Seeing as how you got abducted last week, let's say I'm a little paranoid," I said. Her face softened and she laughed a bit.

"Kevie, you're really sweet, you know?" she said. I blushed in spite of myself. Lynetta just smiled at me.

We were standing at the foot of the stairs, and was almost barreled over by Travis hurrying down the stairs.

He looked flushed, and Lynetta snapped her gaze away from me. Whenever Travis is around, Lyn can't seem to focus on just me.

Which makes me REALLY MAD.

"Trav, what happened?" she asked. Travis was busy walking to a door next to the kitchen and wrenching open the door.

He pulled Dani out and said, "C'mon Lyn. We're going home." Lynetta shot me an apologetic look.

"Well. I guess I'll see you tomorrow?" she said. I tried to hide my disappointment.

"Yeah. Sure. Bye Lynnie," I said. She squeezed my wrist and followed the Garrett siblings out my front door.

I slammed it as softly as I could behind them.

"Hey," I said. Serena just looked at me. What was wrong with me? Why can't I just say, Serena I'm sorry but I think we should see other people?

Why can't I say it? Because maybe I still have feelings for her? Maybe, just maybe, they're stronger than my feelings for Kami?

"What's with the nose ring?" I asked instead. Serena's hand flew up to her nose and held the ring.

"Why? I like it," she said defensively. I flushed and looked away.

"It's.....just not you," I murmered. She gazed at me with a steely expression.

"I grew up Joe," she said. "I can't stay seventeen forever you know." I turned maroon.

"I know! I wasn't saying that! It's just that...you CHANGED TOO MUCH!" I cried. She flushed this time.

"We've been dating since I was a junior in high school. I'm a freshman in COLLEGE NOW. I'm not in a TIME CAPSULE Joe!" she shouted.

Here we go AGAIN! Everytime we try to talk, we argue.

"I know! Jesus! It was a simple question-" I began but she cut me off.

"I grew up Joe. It's your turn now," she snapped. Then she left, and left me standing stupidly in the middle of the room this time.

I'm a jerk. So what? She was a freaking jerk to me last year, why shouldn't I give what was dished out to me?

I glanced at Lyn in the front seat of my car. Dani was in the back, looking thoughtfully out the window.

"What are you so mad at?" Dani suddenly asked me. I glanced back at her.

"Serena," I stated. Dani raised her eyebrows.

"Your love?" she asked. Lynetta choked on her on spit. I swear, I could've drove right off a cliff ending all of our lives and saving me the humiliation.

"Shut up," I growled.

"YOU LIKE HER?! YOU LOVE HER?!" Lynetta was saying excitedly. She was laughing. Which made me want to hit her.

"Trav, you know I have TRL tonight? I need to get home sometime in this century," Dani said.

I glared at her.

"Thanks to you, now I'm driving at granny speed," I hissed. She rolled her eyes. My stupid sister.

No wonder why I was in therapy for four years.

You know sometimes when you are so happy that you feel exhausted? Well, that's how I felt today after Dani left.

We're friends! I could sing and dance right now if it wasn't for the fact that we were eating dinner before Dani appeared on TRL that night.

I ate more than I ever had in months. I cleaned my plate and even went back for thirds.

Everyone, including Serena (who wasn't here during my apetite loss) was just staring at me as I shoveled more food into my mouth than ever.

Not only did I eat the most, I finished the fastest too. Joe, who was awfuly quiet nowadays, just shrugged and picked at his spaggetti.

It doesn't really bother me that me and Dani are just friends now. Not to mention the fact that she won't say my name.

Seriously. The entire half hour we were in that room, she only called me Jonas. And I was really dying to hear her say my name again.

But still. It's a start. She can be my friend now. We'll get over that rough patch. I know we will.

She's stronger than that isn't she?

After dropping Lynetta off at the Jonas's, we were headed to TRL's studio. I'm not kidding. Both of us.

Me and my brother. My twenty three year old brother. They wanted BOTH of us. After I was finished screaming this, we actually managed to leave on time.

We were driving into the parking lot, when Travis said,

"Why do they want BOTH of us?"

I shrugged calmly even though I had just spent twenty minutes contemplaiting that too.

"Well, we are brother and sister....maybe, I don't know...they wanna ask us questions together?"

Travis shrugged and we pulled up to the studio and headed inside.

Joe

After getting over Nick's new appetite and we cleaned off the table, we all flocked to the couch and TV to watch Travis and Dani.

We've never been on TRL.....I think. I couldn't exactly concentrate due to the fact that Serena and me wound up sitting next to each other.

I was debating on putting an arm around her or just leaning over to where Kevin was sitting with Lynetta.

I decided just to stay stone stiff inbetween her and Kevin. I knew she saw how tense I was when she sat down, because she whispered,

"What are they doing on TRL anyway?" I shrugged trying to go back to talking like we used to.

"I think they said for an interview," I said.

"And to play an acoustic version of one of Dani's new songs on her album," Nick added. We all looked at him, and he looked away guiltily.

We turned our attention back to the TV as Dani and Travis came on.

Travis

So yeah. This whole thing with going on an interview and preforming an accoustic version of one of her songs?

Yeah, definetly not my idea. But, what could I do? We were introduced to the new host, Matt Dameon.

He shook my hand and told me what a big fan he was. And he flocked to Dani like an ant to a lollipop.

It sickens me how that happens. So we were both seated on a black leather couch, and I was leaning forward a bit with my hands folded.

Dani was lounging in the couch right as the cameras started rolling.

"Heeey there and welcome to TRL," Matt said, speaking to the camera/audience.

"We are here today with siblings and drummer in the band Skeletons in the Closet and lead singer of the Love Project, Dani and Travis."

He looked at us.

"How you doing today guys?"

"Great," I said.

"Fine," Dani agreed. Matt shifted so he looked at me first.

"So guys, since you're like siblings and all but you're in different bands, what's that like?"

Dani didn't answer so I decided I had to.

"Well, it's fine I guess. But me being the drummer and Dani being the lead singer, she gets more publicity than I do."

I heard everyone laugh, because I was even laughing too. Dani had a small smile on her face.

Matt, than turned to face me and I knew it was my part of the interview.

"Now Trav, I heard you sing too. Is that true?"

Lynetta

At that, my jaw dropped. TRAVIS? SING?! Yeah right!

"Yeah, I actually sing lead in a few of the songs on our album that we're working on right now, me and the guys," Travis said.

I couldn't help it. I laughed so hard that I started crying.

"Ryan's cool with it," Travis said when the host asked how the real singer felt about it. Hearing Ryan made me shut up. I missed him.

"He always helps me out cuz I'm a little tone deaf," Travis continued. The audience laughed.

So after Travis's time was up, Matt turned to me.

"So Dani, what's it like for you and Seth Brown, the only united Breakers, to go to a new band entirely?"

I looked down at my converse and thought for a minute. My hair was shining like a traffic light under the lighting.

"Well, me and Seth have always been tight from the beginning and Terra and Max are really cool to us," I said finally.

Matt smiled his TV smile and dropped the bomb.

"So speaking of tight, what was this scandal about you and Nick Jonas?"

I just sat on that leather couch with my mouth open and a strange laughing sound coming out of it.

Though I was definetly not laughing.

The minute he said my name, everyone's heads snapped over automatically to look at me.

I knew I had turned red. I could feel it. I felt so bad for Dani as she sat there looking so awkward.

"Uhh," Dani said. She was still looking at her feet when Travis cut in.

Dani

"It's a long story really," Travis said. Travis to the rescue. I felt so grateful to my big brother as he explained how me and Nick met.

"They're really just friends," he said shrugging. I had half a mind to through my arms over him and hug him to death.

He shot me a look after the little speech he gave about me and Nick. I translated it to mean, "Your welcome".

"Well, we're go to a short back but after the break we're have a sneak peak at the Love Project's new songs," Matt said.

"And we're clear!" a guy said. I sighed and as Matt walked away and me and Travis were getting up, I flung my arms around him.

"Thanks Trav," I whispered. He patted me on the back.

"No prob Dani. Now help me find where the put our guitars," he said. It took a good few minutes to find where they put our acoustic guitars.

Than we were put back through makeup and hair and then we were on the stage. I was sitting on a stool with a microphone pointing to my mouth and guitar.

Travis was next to me with his guitar as well. I wasn't used to doing acoustics. I was mainly covered by a lot of drums (courtesy of Max Lewinski) and bass (Terra Linewood).

But I was pretty nervous when the same guy shouted,

"And we're live!" Then Matt was talking. Introducing my new album Alive on The Inside. (So Breeanna I chose the other one)

Travis counted us off. "One, two, one two three." We started playing our guitars to my song Alive On The Inside the single on my album.

Dani smiled as her hair shined like a red disco ball. I was laughing at the look on Nick's face, when Joe touched my arm.

"Can I talk to you for a minute Serena?" he asked. He looked pained, so I just nodded.

"Listen Serena," I said once we were safely inside the kitchen. "This really isn't easy for me to do."

She just looked at me with a stricken expression on her face. I took a deep breath and took the plunge.

"I just don't think it's working between us anymore. You know? I really think we should take a break," I said.

I watched her face grow so pale she almost blended in with the refrigerator behind her. I felt so bad.

When she didn't say anything, I figured I should just keep going. What was the harm in murdering myself some more?

"I mean, you're right. You grew up a lot more than I did. I haven't changed," I continued. I was sad to see a tear go down her face.

Then she reached out a hand and grabbed my arm. She looked like she had just saw a ghost.

"You're not the same Joe," she said. And with that, she hurried out the room and up the stairs.

She was right. I wasn't the same. I was WAY different.

"Oh God," I groaned as we watched Serena disappear up the stairs. It was obvious she was crying.

"What did you DO?" I cried the minute Joe came into the room, looking no good as Serena just had.

"I.....I think I just ended it," he whispered. Lynetta did something very surprising then.

She got up, walked over to Joe, and SLAPPED him. Not hard that it left a mark, but hard enough so it made a sound.

SLAP! Then she hurried up the stairs after Serena.

Travis

"Travis, I owe you," Dani was saying on our way to pick up Lyn at the Jonas's. I rolled my eyes.

"You owe me a LOT more than just from that time," I pointed out. She leaned over the seat and hugged my arm.

I nudged her off me before I rear ended the dude in front of me. We reached the house and we both knocked on the door.

Nick threw it open.

"Hey guys, you were great!" he cried. I tried (very hard) not to roll my eyes, so it must've looked like I had a serious twitch.

"Thanks Jonas," Dani said stiffly. I raised my eyebrows at her and glanced at Nick.

"Where's Lynetta? It's 12 'o clock, and I'm about ready to hit the sack," I said.

"Are you still sharing a bed?" Nick asked. I smiled grimly.

"Thankfully we got an airmattress," I replied.

"Well, you're gonna have to wait. Serena and Joe just broke up and-"

I choked on my own spit and started having a freaking coughing fit right there on their doorstep.

"Wh-what?" I managed to choke out.

"Yeah, just now," Nick said, thumping me on the back (which by the way wasn't helping).

I was trying to grasp the subject of whenever I think of Serena, I don't have to see the back of Joe's head anymore, when Lynetta came down.

"She okay?" Dani asked. Lyn looked grim as she grabbed her bag and coat (it was pretty chilly for spring).

"Better than I would be," Lyn said. I looked up the stairs behind Nick, than we trooped back to my car.

I wish I was dead right now. So I don't have to feel pain. I mean, duh I'll get over it.

But not for awhile. I just wanna lay in bed for now. I mean, I did get up occasionally.

But not much if I could help it. Joe already came in this morning.

He poked his head into the door and smiled at me as I made my bed.

"Are we cool?" he asked. I didn't look at him. I still felt like he had ripped out my heart put it into a blender and hit FRAPPE.

Stonily, I replied. "No."

He looked hurt for a moment, and so I straightened up and stared a bit less icily at him.

"We will be though," I said.

"We're still friends right? I mean I would love to spend time with you as just friends," he said.

FRIENDS?! I wanted to slap him! He just broke up with me and now he wants to be FRIENDS!?

And he only waited two days since doing so to ask me? God, what did I ever see in him?

Oh yeah, what I still see in him. The love of my life possibly.

"You okay?" I asked Travis. We were sitting at Dani's dining room table with waffles in front of us.

Dani actually made them for us. I guess she's feeling better, which is good I guess, but the waffles didn't seem to be making her brother happier.

"I'm fine Lynetta," he said. I put an arm around his shoulders and for the first time he didn't shake them off.

I took advantage of this to wrap my other arm around him in a hug trying to cheer him up.

"C'mon grumpy pants, smile!" I said in a cheery voice. Travis glared at me and I recoiled.

"What's up Travis? You seem like you just watched your goldfish get flushed down the toilet for the past two days, why?" I asked.

Travis shrugged my arms off and got up from the table and headed into our guest room.

I glanced at Dani. She shrugged. We were surprised when the doorbell rang.

I knew why Travis was upset. Or at least a little pensive. It was Serena being single again that was getting him so quiet.

I felt bad too knowing that they weren't on speaking terms because of something I did. Something I blew so badly for Travis.

I got up and answered the door. I was surpriesed to see Maggie. My 14 year old cousin standing on the doorstep.

"MAGGIE?!" I shouted. She smiled a little smile.

"Surprise? You seem to be feeling better," she said. I was still at a loss for words.

"Y-yeah ever since Trav and his friend moved in with me." Right as I said this Travis came back.

"Mags?" he asked. She gasped, and I remembered she hadn't seen Travis in like two years.

"TRAVIS!!" she screamed and she blew right past me and threw herself at Travis. Me and Lynetta were laughing as Trav wrestled with Maggie.

"Since when did you become so emo-like Trav?" she said. Travis was just looking at me with a "Help?!" expression.

"Nick! Dani, Travis and Lynetta are here!" Joe shouted. I got up and went to go get Kevin.

God, I've never seen a GUY wear that much eyeliner before. Dani smiled at me.

"Hey Jonas," she said. I smiled back. It was like old times, except we.....weren't dating.

"Hey, Dani, Trav, how 'bout you stay for lunch and dinner?" Kevin asked. Travis opened his mouth, no doubt to protest when Lyn said,

"Yeah! C'mon guys! We never spend a lot of time together!" Travis rolled his eyes, which I notice he does a lot.

"Sure whatever," he said. Dani smiled and walked across the room to where I was standing.

"How's Serena?" she asked me.

BAD IDEA! BAD IDEA! Very VERY bad idea. What was I supposed to do HERE?! I was gonna die, I swear.

I looked at Lynetta who had already buzzed off to go and talk with Kevin. She so has it bad, it's pathetic.

But I have no room to talk, because I have it bad for someone too. I looked at the stairs.

I was the only one left by the door. Dani had disappeared down the hall with Nick and Joe and Lynetta and Kevin had also disappeared.

Dinner came pretty fast. We all had a good time watching a few movies and playing board games.

Serena even came down to join us once or twice. And before we knew it, lunch came and went and we were soon ordering dinner.

It was strangely quiet as we all chowed down on our tacos and burritos fresh from Taco Bell.

I mean, besides the fact that Dani didn't eat and Travis only picked at his. What was wrong with that family?

Dani was sitting next to Nick, who was sitting next to Joe, who was at the head of the table (he payed).

Travis was sitting next to me and was facing Serena who sat next to Dani. I sat to the right of Lynetta.

We all were silent until Dani started telling about how her cousin had came to visit that morning.

"She's staying somewhere in town for spring break," Dani concluded. Nick was gazing at her with rapt attention.

This made me roll my eyes. Nick was so in love with her. Dani barely glanced at him. She was apparently still mad.

I looked at Lynetta who bit into her burrito. A bunch of cream cheese oozed out and got onto the corners of her mouth.

She caught me staring at her and started laughing as she wiped up her mouth. I missed her mouth.

Dani, look at me! I was starting to get a bit uneasy. She didn't even glance a BIT in my direction.

She barely looked at me at all! What was wrong with her? Did she STILL really hate me that much?

Joe was the first to finish that night. He put his fork down and tossed out his paper plate.

"I have to go meet someone," Joe said, which I interpreted to mean, "I'm gonna hook up with Kami". NOT the gross way, but get together with.

When Joe left, Serena put her fork down too. She looked a little green around the gills.

"Thanks guys, but I'm not hungry," she whispered, than she bolted up the stairs.

I immediately looked at Travis. He glared at me.

"No," he snapped. I glared right back.

"Go. Now or I'm gonna get midevil on your butt. GO!" I snapped. Travis muttered a bunch of things that would probably be censored otherwise.

He slammed down his fork and followed Serena up the stairs. Kevin raised his eyebrows at me. I shrugged.

Then Dani and Nick got up saying they were gonna go on a walk down the block. Me and Kevin were stuck clearing the dishes.

I knew where he was going. And I was mad. I stormed up to my room and slammed the door.

I needed help, I really did. I wasn't over him. Just yet. Give it a day or two, and I will be.

I threw my cellphone onto my bed and sank onto it.

I was just adjusting to the fact that I was all alone, when the door opened.

Travis came in. God, Lynetta must really want to make me feel better.

"What do you want this time?" I asked. Travis shot me a look as he shut the door behind him.

"Just wondering why you're not over that loser," he said. I glared at him.

"He's not a loser. He's been good for me." Travis raised his eyebrows WAY WAY WAY up.

"Really? Because strangely, all I remember is you getting him back and than dumping me. Ring a bell?" he asked.

I looked ashamedly at my feet. He continued, and it made me feel more guilty.

"In fact, you don't seem to have reread those diaries of yours and seen that I've been to hell and back so many times for you I have frequent flier miles," he said.

I looked at my feet some more feeling my face grow hot. His voice was raising and I knew he was upset.

"And, you walked out on me because of something my freakin' sister said, which you didn't even BOTHER to ask me if it was true!" he shouted.

I looked up at him. He was standing in the middle of the room with his arms crossed and looking flushed.

"You didn't exactly try to prove her wrong!" I shouted back. I didn't know why I tried. The fault was clearly on me.

"YOU DIDN'T EVEN CALL OR ANYTHING!" I shouted. Travis had absoulutely NO problem yelling back.

"AND SAY WHAT EXACTLY?! THANKS FOR DITCHING ME?" He yelled. I stood up and crossed my arms too.

Travis just shook his head. We've been in here for almost an hour yelling at each other.

"You know what Serena? I don't care anymore. Do what you want," he said. He was at the door and pulling it open.

I knew I was gonna lose him again if I didn't say something.

"Travis?" I said. He turned and before I knew better or even THOUGHT about it, I was laying a big wet one on him.

It was a pretty scene really. Me and Nick walking down the sidewalk with the moonlight shining down

It was a half moon, and the street lights were sending a pretty yellowish light down on us. We walked for a good long time.

We were mostly silent, but really I was just thinking. Thinking what in God's name I was doing here with Nick Jonas.

The guy I was gonna KILL myself for. And I was still being civilized with him? Where has the world gone?

I glanced at Nick. He was looking up thoughtfully at the sky.

"What's up?" I asked. He looked at me.

"Just wondering," he said. I blinked confusedly at him.

"Wondering what?" I asked. He stopped under a street light and I stood next to him.

"Wondering why you still hate me so much," he said. I froze. Dear God, how was I supposed to respond to THAT?!

Me and Lynetta sat on a couch together in front of the TV. We were just starting to get used to Travis and Serena yelling upstairs.

Lyn laughed a bit as I poked her on the forehead.

"What are you doing?" she asked giggling. I shrugged. Hug her, hug her, I thought. I didn't.

I was too gutless to. I looked at her. She had her knees pulled up to her chest. I took that as a sign.

"What's wrong?" I asked her. She looked at the TV without really seeing it.

"Just thinking," she said. I looked at her. I had to tell her. I had to. Or at least ask her!

"Lyn, listen. I've been meaning to tell you this for the long-"

Than the shouting upstairs abruptly ended. Lynetta's gaze snapped to the ceiling.

"Uh-oh," she said.

"What are you so worried about?" I asked. She was already getting up.

"Dude, knowing Travis I think I'll find one of them dead by the time we get there."

And before I knew it, she was heading up the stairs. And my courage was sliding down along with my self esteem.

I don't know what's worse. The fact that when Serena first kissed me, she caught me so off guard I opened my mouth a bit and our tounges got tangled up.

OR the fact that I was making out with a 19 year old. OR (yes there's more) that I actually enjoyed it.

I don't know dude, but they all seemed EQUALLY bad to me. Except as I said before, I liked it.

I was really starting to get used to her all pressed up on me with one of her hands in my hair and one on my back, when I started thinking.

This is the problem about me. I can't think when I WANT to, (like at school for instance), but when I DON'T want to, BAM! I start.

I started thinking at all the people that would be pissed off at me if they saw what I was doing.

Like my mom for instance. And Dani, and Joe (oh crap I forgot about Joe), and.....and-

"OH MY GOD!"

Lynetta. Of course. How could I forget about bossy, know-it-ally annoying Lyn? I didn't of course.

And as me and Serena both came up for air and stared at her, both of us strangely out of breath, I was freaked.

Lynetta's eyes were like spinning, I could practically hear the cogs working in her mind as she tried to process the scene she caught me and Serra in.

"Lyn? What is it? You need something?" It was Kevin. Lord Almighty, what did I ever do to you?

"Not now Kevin," Lynetta choked out. "I'm in the Twighlight Zone." I let go of Serena.

I lost my temper. That was FREAKING it. I pushed past Lynetta and Kevin and ran as fast as I could to my car.

I was midway to my Jaguar, when I heard,

"Travis! Yo! Wait up!"

God it was Kevin. What did I ever do to deserve this?

"Listen, I don't want to talk about it," I snapped. I was already halfway into the car.

"But-" Kevin began.

"NO," I snapped, then I slammed the door and drove away.

"Hate you? I don't TOTALLY hate you," Dani said. I snorted a bit.

"Well, yeah. Do you REALLY think I wouldn't hold anything like THAT against you?" she snapped.

I crossed my arms.

"I told you I didn't want to do it," I reminded her. She sighed again.

"Listen Jonas, I'm not ready to forgive OR forget, but I'll learn to live with you again, okay? I'm OVER YOU," she said.

I looked at my feet.

"But I'm not over you yet," I whispered.

"Thanks," I said. I went to go get my coat. Walking in on Travis's make-out sessions were almost second nature to me with Veronica and all.

But WHO he was kissing was just kind've........shocking. Seeing as how he's four years older than her.

I woke up that morning to a knock on my door. It was Nick telling me Travis was here to see me.

Surprised, but happy all the same, I got dressed, and brushed my teeth and hair.

Walking downstairs, I was happy to see Travis met me down there so I didn't have to face Joe.

Travis was wearing his My Chemical Romance hoody, (which I recognized from our Eurotrip) with his hood up.

"Hey," I said, smiling upon seeing him. He, didn't smile back. He just dragged me into a room up the stairs.

I recognized this as the room that would've been Lynetta's if she hadn't stayed with Travis.

"WE need to talk. NOW," he said. I stared up at him. He REALLY is hot.

"Okay, shoot," I said. I had half a mind to add, boyfriend in there, but I was pretty sure he'd shoot me.

"We can't be together. Okay? We just can't," he said. I felt my face falter into a frown.

"What? Why not?"

"Want me to give you a list?" he asked, which hurt me really bad. There was a LIST why we couldn't be together? Ouch.

"First, because you are FOUR YEARS YOUNGER THAN ME," he began.

"FOUR?!" I cried. "I thought you were 22!"

"Where have YOU been for my last birthday?" he asked.

"Second, we are BOTH on the rebound right now," he continued.

"You too?" I asked wincing.

"Time doesn't stop just because you stopped talking to me Seren," he said.

Seren. I haven't heard that name in awhile.

On my first day back to Sunbreak Studios in three months, I was feeling kind of happy. I mean, I felt...normal again.

Besides the fact that Nick was there too. After that night when he told me he wasn't over me yet, I had avoided him.

But I guess I couldn't avoid him for long, because the minute I pushed open the revolving glass doors to the studio he ran up to me.

"Did you hear about Serena and-" he began. I rolled my eyes.

"And my perverted brother? Yes I heard Jonas," I said. He turned red and shrugged.

"So....are they together?" he asked. I knew he didn't want to talk about this. He really wanted to talk about the fact that he wasn't over me yet.

Tough luck.

"I don't know. I'm not his babysitter," I said defensively. Nick opened his mouth to say something else, when someone shouted,

"DANI!"

It was Seth Brown, Terra Linewood and Max Lewinski. The Love Project ran to me and enveloped me into a big group hug.

"Where you've you BEEN?!" Terra cried squeezing me. I was starting to get claustrophobic with all the people around me.

"Home? I've been feeling a bit under the weather," I said when the released me and stood to talk.

I had the feeling Nick was inching away. I realized why when I noticed the entire Love Project (minus me) was giving Nick the dead eye.

I met Kami at the beach after her cheerleading practice. She wrapped her arms around my neck and kissed me on the lips.

I felt my cheeks flame seeing as how I wasn't used to her being anywhere near me at all.

And in spite of myself, I was beginning to miss Serena. I mean it. I dump her, than regret dumping her, and miss her.

What have I gotten myself into?

"Wanna take a walk on the beach?" Kami asked me. I shrugged, not really feeling comfortable talking to her.

Like I used to feel with Serra. I followed her across the sandy beach. She took my hand and started swinging it.

I felt like I wanted to drown in that ocean.

"Why? And why did you guys break up again? You said you fought?"

"Yes. And I really don't want to tell you."

"Tell me what? Why it's a different story or why you broke up?"

Travis rolled his eyes and crossed his arms.

"Both," he said firmly.

"At least tell me why it's a different story! Come on Trav," I begged.

He turned a bit red.

"Hey Lyn, nice of you to stop by," I said. She raised her eyebrows at me. I was at the studio and Lyn had agreed to come with me.

"Nice studio," she agreed. I led her into one of the rooms that me and my brothers usually occupy.

"Kev," Lynetta said suddenly as I closed the door behind us."I need to tell you something."

I looked around. What was it?

Man, did I HAVE to say it?! She can't make me! I really didn't want to say it because it was just so......EMBARASSING.

I put my head in the palm of my hand and muttered,

"Ooookay," she said.

"I actually think that relationship could.......you know.....GO somewhere," I said. I said it like it was killing me slowly to come out. Which it was.

"What do you-" then comprehension dawned on her face and she turned scarlet.

"Oh," she said finally.

"And I don't really want to do that to you. You know? We should just STAY friends. FRIENDS, okay?" I said getting up.

"So technically, if our relationship would be a dead end, you wouldn't mind going out with me?" she said.

She looked a bit peeved so I said.

"NO! IT's-it's hard to explain-"

"I'll say," she said sarcastically rolling her eyes. I fell silent and she sighed.

"Look Trav, either way I lo-"

I then made a sound like BZZZZZTT-DADADAD-DUH! and held up a finger, cuz I KNEW what she was gonna say.

"I DO lov-" she tried again, but I slapped a hand over her mouth to SHUT HER UP. Cuz, it was hard enough as it was.

"DON'T-SAY-IT," I groaned. I didn't really leave her much choice though. When she just sighed gustily, I said,

"How about you come to my concert tonight? Maggie, Dani and Lyn will be there. I promise no Jonas Brothers."

She smiled behind my hand and nodded.

What was I DOING?! Why was I SAYING this? Why am I bringing this up?! WHY? WHY WHY WHY?!

"Okay, what is it?" Kevin asked. I took a deep lungful of air and asked,

"What you thought when you read my blog."

Kevin looked awkward and fell quiet.

"Wh-what do you mean?" he asked.

"You know...did you feel happy? Sad? Shocked? I mean you read EVERYTHING I wrote about you and Brooke and-"

The door opened and Nick came in.

"Oh, am I interrupting something important?" he asked. Kevin glanced at me and said,

"No I don't think so. What is it Nick?"

I just stared at him with my mouth open. I didn't stick around to hear Nick's dramatic story about Dani and her band, I walked straight out the door.

Besides, I have a Skeleton's in the Closet concert tonight. And I'm starting to think that Travis is a WAY better friend than Kevin is.

"Oh no. I really did it this time," Kevin muttered as Lynetta slammed the door behind her.

"What'd you do?" I asked. Kevin shook his head and ran a hand through his curly hair.

"Long story. So Seth Brown was a jerk again? So?" he said.

"AND Terra Linewood AND Max Lewinski. And I've never even TALKED to them before!" I cried.

Kevin shrugged and patted me sympathetically on my shoulder.

"Too much drama in that relationship bro," he said.

"Tell me about," I sighed. We than headed out the door to go see if we could drag Joe out of his date to go grab a bite to eat.

But really, I was just thinking. What was wrong with me? Saying that I wasn't over Danika yet?

I mean, it's the honest to God truth, but that doesn't mean I had to SAY SO!

Serena

I've never been to a rock concert before. Only Jonas Brother's ones.

And really, it felt good not to have a Jonas sibling in sight. I was a bit late seeing as how I took a taxi.

I knew I was majorly late when I bumped into the lead singer of the Skeletons.

All the Skeletons have half a skeleton painted on their faces and Ryan James, had went the extra mile.

He had scars painted on on the clean side of his face.

"Who are you?" he asked.

"Ummm, Serena Kennedy?" I asked. He pulled at the sleeve of his black Skeleton shirt.

"Oh yeah, Trav's friend. Backstage," he said, than he disappeared around the corner.

I followed his directions and wound up in a huge warehouse looking thing.

I spotted Dani so I hurried over to her.

"Hey," I said tapping her on the shoulder. Looking at Dani, I was hoping I didn't stand out too much.

I was wearing a Skeleanimals longsleeved shirt with my hood over my dark red copper hair.

Dani had on a Chiodos band tee and skinny jeans. I looked down at my baggy trip pants and felt self councious.

"Looking for my brother?" she asked. When I nodded, she jerked her head to the right.

Joe

"Joe, what is it? You've been tense all day," Kami whined as she rubbed my shoulders in a bad attempt at a massage.

I lifted her hands off me.

"Just feeling a bit confused is all," I said truthfully.

"Ex-girlfriend still got you hooked?" she asked. I nodded.

"Sorta," I muttered. She wrapped an arm around my shoulders.

"You'll get over it," she said. I hope she's right.

Travis

God I felt like an idiot when I saw Serena talking to my sister. I was the moron with half a skeleton painted on my face.

When Serena saw me, her face split into a smile. I felt crappy inside though.

"Hey," she said coming over to me. I pulled on my skeleton gloves.

As you can see the whole idea of the Closet Tour was to look as much like a skeleton as possible.

"Hi, can I talk to you?" I asked. She nodded and I led her away from Dani and the crew.

There was one papparrazzi dude that managed to slip past security but we payed no attention to him.

"Are you still hung up about this whole we-can't-be-together thing?" I asked. Serena raised her eyebrows.

"Duh," she said.

"But why?! I already told you why we can't, but why are you still mad about it?!" I cried.

I was supposed to be on stage in a few minutes but I ignored everything (even Lynetta's squeals when she saw Ryan).

"Because you're being a hard headed, stubborn jerk that you always are," she said.

Point taken. Then she tried to kiss me. I caught her with my middle and index fingers right in the middle of her forehead.

"Nice try," I said. Than we heard,

"Hey Travis! Look over here!"

It was the papparrazzi guy. Without thinking, I shoved a hand into his lens as the flash went off.

Kevin

"Yo Joe! You ready to go?" I asked. I was still a little miffed about the whole Lynetta thing.

What would've happened if Nick HADN'T walked in? What would I have said than?

Because really, I didn't know the real answer to her question.

"Yeah," Joe sighed, squirming away from Kami. "Bye Kam."

The three of us trooped silently to the car. Probably all thinking who's love life is more screwed up.

I still vote Nick's. But Joe's comes in a close second. And mine's dead last. No comparison.

Maybe I do need to take a chance with Lyn. Maybe that's the only way to bump Joe out of second.

Or stay in last.

The next morning I walked into Serena's room while she was getting ready to go to the store.

"Hey Serra," I said cautiously. She turned and when she saw it was me, she smiled grimly at me.

"Hello Joe," she said polietly. I lollygagged into the room casually while she brushed her hair.

"Umm, can I talk to you?" I asked. She looked at me from the mirror as she brushed her golden red locks.

"Yeah, sure I guess," she said putting down the brush and sat facing me in the chair behind a desk.

I sat on her bed and sighed.

"It's just that......well I think I made a mistake," I said. She crinkled her brow at me.

"What do you mean?"

"Breaking up with you I mean," I said. Her face faltered but I kept going. "I mean, I miss you I really do. And I can't picture myself with anyone but you."

I said the last part in a whisper. I looked at her face. It was softened and bit sad looking.

"Joe," she sighed. "I think you were right. I have changed a lot, and so have you. Maybe we changed for the better. You know?" she said.

I looked at her sadly.

"I mean, really. We both have a considerable amount of growing up to do and maybe it was a good thing to nip this thing in the bud before it got too out of hand," she said.

I shrugged. It did make a lot of sense. She moved off the chair and sat next to me. For the first time she put her arm around my shoulders.

"We are still friends Joe. You know that right?" she whispered. I hugged her back.

"Yeah, I know Serra." We sat there for a minute before I said,

"So, have a good time at the Skeletons in the closet concert?"

Dani

"Seth, why were you such a jerk to Nick yesterday?" I asked when I met up with him the next day.

He looked a bit taken aback that I had asked that. Shrugging he said,

"Truthfully, I'm shocked that you forgave him."

"I didn't forgive him," I said through gritted teeth. Seth raised his eyebrows and held out a package to me.

"This is from Big," he said. When I took the package, Seth left the room. I guess I made him a bit mad.

I ripped it open and read a letter from my manager Big.

He was chasing me through the mall in LA. I was trying to get some shopping done, but he wouldn't leave me alone.

"I'm sorry about what I said yesterday."

"I'm not interested."

"Please? Just hear me out-"

"Save your breath."

"Wait, how'd you know that I went there yesterday?" I asked. Joe's face fell.

"So, you haven't seen it yet?" he asked.

I felt immediately sicken. What was he talking about?

"Seen what?" I asked urgently. Joe got up and crooked his finger at me.

I followed him downstairs and out the door to the newspaper stand at the end of the road.

He pulled out a copy of People magazine and handed it to me. Taking it, I felt like puking.

There was the huge picture of me and Travis, talking in a corner of the backstage.

You couldn't see me, because Travis had resourcefully shoved a hand into the lense.

You could only see the side of Travis's face, the one that was painted like a skeleton.

On the front of the heinous magazine was the heading:

Travis Garrett's New Girlfriend?

I'm not kidding. I was going insane. My mouth was hanging and I was thinking if Travis had seen this when my phone rang.

"Hello?" I asked all wildly.

"calm down Serena," Travis said. "I know you're freaking out right now."

"I'm not freaking out!" I cried. There was silence and I knew that Travis had his eyebrows raised.

"I was wigging out," I finished.

"Mmmhmm," he muttered. I rolled my eyes this time.

"But have you SEEN this magazine Travis!?" I cried.

"Yes I have. It's absoloute bull crap. We aren't dating. What's there to freak about?" he said.

I let out a huffy breath.

"Whatever," I murmered.

"I'll see you later," he said than he hung up. Leaving me to look at Joe hopelessly.

I sat stubbornly in the seat opposite Joe. We were at the studio trying to get some work done.

Even though, it technically wasn't work because we weren't doing anything. Joe was making a bracelet out of paper clips.

I was thinking about Lynetta. I'd blown it big time. And really, I needed to fix it before I lost her entirely.

I got up and Joe looked up from his paper clip chain.

"Where you going?" he asked.

"Find Lynetta," I said and headed out the door. I called a cab this time. I didn't feel like taking our car.

I drove all the way to Dani's apartment, which was about twenty minutes from the studio.

I walked up to the twenty second floor and knocked. Travis answered since Dani was at the studio.

"Hey, I was just leaving," Travis said. He side stepped me and was about to walk past when he whispered,

"Don't blow it again dude."

I didn't know if I had imagined it because he disappeared out the door without a backward glance.

I stepped into the apartment and saw Lynetta eating her breakfast in front of her laptop.

"Lyn?" I said. She glanced up and slammed her laptop down. Leaving her cornflakes abandoned on the table, she got up and headed down the hall.

"Lyn!" I cried. I chased her down the hall and into the guest room. One bed and an air matress, this was probably the guest room.

She turned right around when she saw I had followed her into the room and made to go out the door again.

I snapped. I slammed the door right in her face trapping her in and shouted,

"JUST TALK TO ME!"

Dani

"Hey Jonas," I said as I passed him in the halls of Sunbreak Studios.

"Oh, hey Dani. What's up?" he asked. I shrugged and we stopped in the hallway to talk.

"Hey, what are you doing tonight?" I asked.

Oh my god. can she actually be asking me out?!

"Tonight? Me?" I stuttered.

"Yeah, you know. You, your brothers, Serena. You guys doing anything tonight? I was thinking about a huge get-together again."

Oh. Of course not. She'd NEVER ask me out. She was over me. Duh.

"Umm, I don't think we're doing anything. Why? Didn't we have one of those last week?" I asked.

She shrugged. "Yeah, I guess but everyone's leaving in two weeks. I think we should have them more often," she said smiling.

Her smile melted me. Then we heard a huge crack of thunder and we all jumped.

"OH. MY. GOD. HOW can you not be mad about this?!?" Serena cried the minute she saw me.

I sighed and rolled my eyes. We were on the front porch of the Jonas's house and she didn't even bother to let me in.

"Because. I told you. It's complete BS. Who cares?" I asked.

"I DO!"

"I noticed," I said calmly. God, she is such a headcase. I was beginning to see that she hadn't changed much at all.

Except for the nose peircing. But I liked it. OH GOD!! STOP THINKING THAT! You like her you like her you like her you like her.

I know I know I know I know I know.

It bothered me. It really did. He didn't want to be with me. I mean obviously.

But he was standing there. Arms crossed, and glaring at me as I ranted about stupid People magazine.

"I mean, I know it's crap but still! I do lov-" I began.

"SHUT UP! JUST SHUT THE HELL UP!" Travis suddenly cried. I looked at him in alarm.

I didn't mean to say the L word again. It just kinda slipped out.

"T-Trav?" I whispered. He was like, livid. He was shaking a bit and he had his hands clenched into fists.

"Just-just leave me alone Serena," he said in a low voice. The rain outside was coming down hard now.

He turned and made to walk off the porch as a huge bolt of lightning flashed through the sky.

"Where are you going?!" I shouted. "You're gonna get killed!"

"I don't care!" he shouted back. I watched him disappear into the monsoon.

Kevin's lost it. I stared at him. He had just shouted at me. I was still in shock. He had his hand still on the wood of the door.

He was trembling with rage.

"Just. Hear. Me. Out," he said slowly. I crossed my arms and cocked my hip.

"Why should I?" I asked.

"Because I felt happy when I read what you wrote," he whispered. He still sounded angry.

But I was also taken aback.

"Happy?" I repeated.

"Happy. Just to know you didn't hate me," he said. He'd calmed down a bit but he still sounded mad.

"Hate you? I could never hate you," I admitted. He looked up and I saw him smile a bit.

"Really?" he whispered.

"I'll always love you Kevin."
