`For Good.

I looked up at the house as we pulled up to the curb.
It was one of those houses you see in the horror movies,
like the Haunted Mansion or Tower of Terror or something.
With the dead plants
and gargoyles outside.
God knows what it looks like from the inside.
But from what I can tell,
it doesn't look good.
As if it wasn't hard enough moving across the country,
my mother expects me to live here!?
I got out of the car, letting out a huge sigh.
My mom smiled, like she was HAPPY
she was moving into this house of hell.

"Isn't it just charming!" Debbie, the realtor said running up to us.
Her voice was all peppy and irritating.
"Yeah...it's real inviting" I said sarcastically, getting up out of the car and slamming the door shut.
"It's just perfect!" my mom cut in.
"It's a treasure...now let's take a look inside shall we?" Debbie said.
Debbie and my mom quickly headed up the front stairs and I trailed behind them.
The door creeked as it opened.
I took one look at the inside of house and turned around on my heals, but my mom grabbed me, turning me back.

We walked inside, seeing a huge double staircase and an old chandeleir, that looks like it could fall in 10 seconds.
Debbie took out some papers and showed them to my mom, contracts I guess.
I wasn't paying attention while I was looking around, until I heard the very last thing Debbie said.

They'd sealed the deal. I'm officially living here.

"WELCOME HOME BROWN FAMILY!" Debbie yelled.

`Chapter 1
I almost fainted when I heard Debbie.
Welcome Home?
This is NOT my home.
And it NEVER will be.

My mom smiled again, it was an evil smile.
I think she just wanted to torture my family in the house or something.
The front door creeked open and Dylan walked in slowly, with the same
shocked look on his face.
Dylan is my stepbrother, and one of my best friends, were pretty much inseperable now because I haven't seen any of my other friends since we've moved here, three weeks ago, and stayed in an apartment.
"Is she serious??" he whispered to me.
"She expects us to live here??"
I nodded.
She'd told us before that she'd decided on a house.
Without even considering talking to us about it, or letting us see it.

My step-dad walked in, with an angry look on his face.
He went over to my mom and Debbie and argued with them, we cheered him on.
"Mom, we ARE NOT living in this Haunted Mansion!" I said.
"As long as your my daughter, you are" she said.
I rolled my eyes, and so did Dylan.
Debbie lost her perkiness quickly, she obviously didn't want us not to buy the house, and she'd do anything for a sale.

Dylan and I went upstairs, to find our rooms.
They all prettymuch looked the same, dark, scary, with old furniture.
We split up and went seperate ways down the hall.
I walked by a room, side-glancing, and could've sworn I saw someone there, looking out the window.
I turned around, and stood in the doorway of the room.
"H-Hello?" I asked, thinking it was a ghost or something.
She turned around and I recongnized her.
"Natali?!" I screamed, running up and hugging her.
Then Megan came running out of the closet.
"Manda!!!!" she screamed.
"Megann!!!!" I screamed back.
She hugged me, making it a group hug.
I hadn't seen Megan or Natali in a very long time.
I moved here three weeks ago, and living in an apartment until my mom bought this dump of a house.
"What are you guys doing here?" I asked.
"We'll....we wanted to come visit you...since we haven't seen you in so long" Natali said.
"Yeah...but why didn't you tell us you guys moved into the Haunted Mansion! This is so cool, I bet there's like ghosts and stuff" Megan said.
I sighed.
"Oh, and we want you to meet some of our new friends..." Natali said.
"Oh yeah..come on out guys!" Megan said, opening the door to the other walk-in closet.
Why they were in a walk-in closet? I don't know.
3 guys came out, they looked familiar but not very, one had straight hair and the two others had curly hair.
"This is Joe, Kevin, and Nick" Natali said.
"Hi..." I said shyly.
"Hey, you must be Amanda, nice to meet you" the oldest one said, I think that's Kevin.
"Cool place...." The straight haired one said, I'm guessing that's Joe.
"Oh yeah, I just love it" I said sarcastically.
"Were all going out to lunch, wanna come?" Natali asked me.
"Sure..." I said.
I took another look at the brothers, if they even are brothers, they looked nice...I guess, but I got a bad feeling about them.
And I'm not sure what that is yet.
