Intro-
I searched for her day and Night, I couldn't find her, he helped me but nothing was going right. I lost her the day I lost my parents, Linda and John Ryan. My parents were everything... but I guess the loss of them drove me to a point where I couldn't be myself anymore. Now I realize, the worse I get, the harder it is to find her. She was just drifting away, but I'm still searching for myself...

Chapter 1- Tragedies and Depression
I saw the yellow caution tape around my house. "What's going on here??" I asked a bystander. "I don't know." The bystander replied back. I walked away from the bystander and walked to a paramedic and tapped him on the shoulder. When he turned around he looked at me. "Excuse me, but may I please know what's going on here??" I asked in my politest voice. "Um Miss, we can only discuss this with the family, it's extremely confidential." The paramedic said in his seriousest voice. "But I am family, sir, I'm their daughter." I replied. "Alright Miss, walk over there to Giovonnie, she'll tell you what's going on." The paramedic pointed to a police officer standing up by the front door. I did as I was told. "Um, excuse me, can you please tell me what's going on here??" I asked again in my politest voice. "Hello Miss Ryan. I am Lieutinant Giovonnie Walker, please come inside and have a seat." Giovonnie said in a serious voice. Giovonnie opened the door and led me to the dining table. I took a seat and waited for the bad news. "Miss Ryan, your parents were murdered tonight." Giovonnie said in a really serious voice. I started to cry and I felt really depressed. "Miss Ryan, it's gonna be okay. Your stuff is packed and you're going to be living at a friend's house until you're old enough to move out and get your own." Giovonnie replied. I still kept crying. I grabbed my bags and went to the taxi out front. Shortly, like about 4 minutes later, I left the house and I was on my way to my friend's house. About 6 minutes later, I was there. I knocked on the door and waited for an answer. The door opened about 4 second's later. "Vanessa?" He said my name more like a question. I was drenched with rain and tears. "Come here." He said in his comforting voice. He grabbed me and hugged me and he brought me in his house. "So, would you like to go change??" He asked me. I nodded my head. "Okay, the bathroom's down the hall and to the left." He pointed it out and sat on the couch. I went into the bathroom, dried off, and changed into something dry. I went back to the living room and sat down next to him. "Nick, I'm never gonna see them again." I said sadly. "I know, but you'll be alright, you have me here to get you through the pain." He said while giving me a kiss on the cheek. I smiled after that. I have the hugest crush on him, ever. Even though he is my best friend, I think he might like me too. "Vanessa, you can sleep with me tonight, that way you'll be alright." He said while hugging me a little tighter. I smiled and I sorta belive everything's gonna be alright.

Chapter 1 part 2: Morning<3
I woke up at 4:00 in the morning. I looked over at Nick who was fast asleep on the other side of me. I sorta smiled and fell asleep again. I woke up again at 9:45 in the morning. Nick was leaning over me smiling. "Morning sunshine!" He said with a smile. "Good Morning." I said with a smile. "Did you sleep well??" He asked me. "Yeah. Did you?" I asked. He nodded his head and kissed my cheek. I smiled and got out of the bed. "Do you want anything breakfast??" He asked me. "Umm no, thanks." I replied. So far this morning is progressing fine. I sorta forgot my parents murder. I actually felt sorta happy.
