chapter one:
first day, and a new friend.

I woke up because of the stupid and loud alarm clock.

I was pretty excited, 'cause I was going to a new school and all, but I knew I was going to
be a loser.
Well, the popular people will probably think i'm one, I don't know about anyone else.
The way I knew this is because every school I went to, the popular girls called me a loser.
Even in kindergarten, Amanda Creston tried to embarrase me 24/7.

I got up from my bed and walked into the bathroom. I started the water and went back into
my room to get my clothes. I walked into the closet and searched for some clothes. I finally
found a decent outfit and put it on the bed. I walked quickly to the bathroom so I could take
a shower.

I got out of the shower and dried myself of, then I put on my clothes. I dried my hair and
then brushed it. I put on some make-up and my sweater. Then I grabbed some socks, put
them on and put on my shoes.
I quickly and carelessly tied my shoes then I grabbed my backpack. I ran down the stairs
and looked at the clock.
It was 6:45. I went outside and started walking to school.
It was freezing outside, but I didn't mind. It was usually hot, so this was the day when I
could celebrate the coldness.

I got to school in about 8 minutes because I didn't live away from the school and I walked
pretty fast.
There was loads of people, obviously, and they were all blabbing and talking and stuff. I
walked into the school and went to the office to get my classes and locker number.

There was a fat lady sitting in a tiny seat. She looked cramped in her little office.
"Bindee Tuhgen." I told her. She handed me a paper. "Thank you." I said and I walked
away.

I eventually found my locker. it was right next to this other girls locker, and she looked nice.
I decided to say hi. "Hey, I'n Bindee." I said. She turned and smiled, "Sweet Name. I'm
Mandy."
I waved and looked into my vacant locker. "New?" she asked and I nodded. "That sucks.
Hopefully Tricia doesn't bother you. She's the popular girl. She's going out with Shane Jonas.

"Thanks for the info." I said as I closed my locker and looked at her, "What's your first class?"
"Science," she said, "Yours?" I smiled, "Science." I said. "Awesome, we can go together,
since you don't know your way around the school yet."
"How 'bout we go now?" I said. "Sure!" Mandy said. And we walked to science. I was glad
to say that I made a friend that morning.

chapter two:
lunch with new friends.

Mandy and I had most classes together, but not all of them, of course. We were at lunch
now. I had met a girl named Adrianne in Math,
a girl named Emma in History, and Mandy introduced me to Danielle, her twin sister. It
was way hard to tell them apart.

Emma said she had three really talented brothers, and I really wanted to meet them. She
promised me I would meet them at lunch,
and it was lunch, so I guess I was going to meet them.
Emma walked over with a curly haired dude. "I thought there was three of them." I said,
confused.

"It turns out that Shane wanted to sit with his beloved Tricia and Jason was sitting with
them, laughing at all of Shane's pointless jokes."
"Oh." I said. And I looked at Emma's brother. I liked his curly hair. He was pretty cute, and
he looked shy.
"Oh, this is Nate." Emma said. And Nate waved me.
"You don't say much, are you shy?" I asked. He shrugged. "Trust me, when you become
his friend, he'll talk to you all the time."
Emma said.

"Well, then we should become friends." I said. Everyone else had already met him, so I
got to talk to him all by myself.
We were sitting in a different table, socializing. "So, what's your favorite....color?" I asked.
"Blue." he said. "Everyone likes blue these days. I think it's too common. I like purple." I
said. "Light or dark?" he asked. "Dark." I said.
"Yea, I like dark purple. Light purple is to girly-ish for a guy." I said. "Thats exactly what I
think! But, I'm not a guy." I laughed.

"So, Emma told me you were new. Where did you move from?" He asked. "Florida." I said
and I took a sip of the gatorade I got.
"I heard thats a really nice place." he said. "Yea, it is. I really liked it there, but we had to
move, so now I'm here. I don't know how long for, though."

"Oh that sucks. The part about you from moving there. You must miss all your friends." he
said.
I shook my head. "Nope, I barely had friends. I was 'the loser'" I said. "Oh, well, you're
making friends here, aren't you?" He asked and I nodded.
"I just don't want to meet the Tricia and be called a loser again, get humiliated and have
no friends." I said.
"I doubt that will happen, but if it does, which it won't, you should be happy and hang out
with your friends."
We both got up and moved to the other table where everyone was sitting.

chapter 3:
cold stone and a promise

Mandy and I went to Cold Stone after school. She got the Mud Pie Mojo and I got the
Oreo Overload.
We sat down and ate our ice cream and talked for a while. She was starting to become
one of my really good friends.
She understood me and stuff. Plus, she was nice and hilarious. My ice cream was sooo
good. I loved Cold Stone.
Suddenly, Emma and all THREE of her brothers walked into the Ice cream place, Emma
and Nate sat where Mandy and I were and the other two went to order ice cream. "Get
me something, please." Emma said. "Fine." Shane said, as he and Jason stopped at the
counter.
"Hey guys." Emma said, she smiled. "Hi Emma," I said and turned to Nate, "Hi Nate." I
said. "Hi Bindee. And Mandy." He said.
"It doesn't take that long to get ice cream." Emma said and she got up and walked over
to Shane, who was eating ice cream. "Wheres my ice cream?" She asked.
"Oh, I didn't have enough money, so I got ice cream for me only." He said. Emma rolled
her eyes and grabbed his ice cream.
"Hey, that's mine, I paid for it!" He said. "Well, it's not yours anymore." She walked back
and sat down and ate her ice cream.
Shane walked out of Cold Stone and Jason came over and sat next to Emma. "Wow, he
is...." I said. "I know." Emma, Nate, and Jason said at the same time. "Yea, but, he's ex-
tremely cute." Mandy said and ate some ice cream. We stared at her.
"Oh gosh. Did I say that outloud?" she asked. I laughed, "Yepp." I said. Everyone nodd-
ed.
We all left Cold Stone and Mandy and I started walking home. But then Emma stopped
us. "Need a ride?" she asked. "Sure." I said.
We got into the car and Jason gave us a ride home, well, a ride to my house. We said
bye and walked into my house.
I went into the kitchen and got a water bottle. "Want some water?" I asked Mandy, as I
opened my water bottle.
"No thanks," Mandy said, "But I need to tell you something." She said as she sat on the
couch and sat next to her.
"What is it?" I asked. "Well, I like Nick, a lot. I've known Emma since like 6th grade and
I've had a huge crush on him ever since." She said.
"Woah, have you told him or anyone yet?" I asked and she shook her head, "Nope you're
the first to know." She said. "Ooh, I feel special!" I took a sip of my drink.
She laughed. "Promise not to tell anyone or go out with him or something, unless I get
over him?" I nodded my head. "Yea, I promise."
