Download Songs off the internet?

I reallllllly want to download songs off of media fire and savefile but I have some questions first.

1. Do these casue problems or contain viruses that can harm your computer?
2. Is it free?

the sites works fine for me and i have never got any viruses but make sure you trust the uploader before you download anything

i download all of my songs from youtube.
but you have to do it through vidtomp3.com which
is really simple. i have been doing it for 2 years
and no problems with my computer

What I do is record from my speakers using Windows Movie Maker cause it's not using any sites aside from just playing videos on youtube. I also rip from IMEEM a lot cause the quality there is usually better.
Downloading files doesn't usually create problems with your computer.
Just make sure you have a good anti-virus program and/or firewall just in case.
Whatever you do though, do NOT use limewire, it will totally mess up your computer.

lol, i use limewire :P, and it does screw up your comp if you don't have good antispyware and virus. Anyone saw the news in Hong Kong? A police brought his police files home for work on his personal computa, and he installed FOXY (chinese version of Limewire) and because it was a file sharing program, someone else using FOXY searched for "police" and they found those confidential files. So becareful when using File Sharing or P2P programs.
