chapter one; The Break Up.

Miley sat in her room as she thought about her and Nick's relationship. So did Nick, at his house. Miley decided to call Nick. Miley speed-dialed Nick's phone, by pressing the number two. She heard her phone beep a couple of times, as it speed-dialed Nick's cell phone. When Nick got the call, just a block away from Miley's house, he picked up. "Miley?" said Nick, answering. "Oh, hey, Nick. Listen..." Miley replied. There was a very short pause. "Yes?" Nick said. "Um, look, I got to go. I'll be at your house tonight at six pm, okay? See you there." Miley said, hanging up quickly. 'What were you thinking, you idiot?! You can't dump people on the phone! UGH!' Miley thought. 'Just calm down. You'll see him tonight and you can tell him then, okay? ... God, no I can't! This is too stressful! Ugh... do I really want to dump Nick?' Miley finished, stressed over her limit. Miley checked her watch. Five o'clock. COME ON! She had ONE hour to think of what she was going to say to Nick? No. Couldn't happen. Not GONNA happen. Oh, but Miley so wanted it to happen! She thought up something quick and then, at five fifty o'clock, walked a ten minute walk over to the Jonas house. When she got there, she pressed the doorbell. Was she ready? ... Yes. Yes she was. Nick opened the door. "Oh, hey Miley!" Nick said, smiling. "Listen... I have to tell you something..." Nick said, scratching the back of his neck. "I think we should just be friends!" Miley and Nick said in unison. "Wow. Okay, then. I guess i'll see you at school tomorrow." Miley said, slowly walking away. "What the HECK?" Nick said. He waited for Miley to disappear into the streets. Then, he closed the door. "DUDE. I just dumped my girlfriend when she wanted to dump me, and then we dumped each other at the same time." Nick said, confused. "Welcome to the club." Joe said, walking towards Nick, referring the the club of not having a girlfriend of the three Jonas brothers.

chapter two; untitled.

"Dude." Nick said. "Now I just freaking regret what I just did!" He said, freaking out.
"Miley was the best thing thing that ever happened to me!" Nick finished, waving his hands around. Joe tried comforting him by putting his hand on Nick's shoulder. When Joe came near, Nick screamed "DON'T TOUCH ME!". Joe backed off. "Haha, don't worry, lil bro! He'll get over it," Kevin said, snickering and walking away. Joe walked away with Kevin and Nick climbed upstairs, grunting. "Grr!" He said. Back at Miley's house, Miley was doubting absolutely nothing. She took out her diary, a pencil and started writing;
Dear Diary,
I am so glad I broke up with Nick. Now, I won't be followed around by paparazzi so much! AND... I won't have to answer questions about... ugh... "Niley." Yay. I got chills. That means I'm officially over him! Well, gotta go get on MSN; gonna tell Lilly the news! Auf Wiedersehen! :D

Miley turned off the computer and jumped on her bed. "Wow... was that really supposed to happen? Should I have really broken up with Nick? Yes?... No?... Ugh." Miley grunted and got her diary again. Instead of a pencil, this time, she took a frilly pen that wrote in forest green against her baby blue diary pages. She made a huge line over each word, from "I" to "Wiedersehen", and wrote, on the very side, "Should I make-up the break-up?". Then, she closed her diary for the second and last time for that day, and fell asleep. Without dinner, with out putting on her pajamas, without saying goodnight.

chapter three; the break-up make-up.

The next day, Miley went to school early. She got up at five o'clock in the morning, and ate breakfast quietly. When she was done with breakfast [five fifteen o'clock], she went back up to her room and got in the shower & got dressed for school. When she was done, and, almost out the door, it was five forty five o'clock. Before leaving, she left a note everywhere; on the microwave, on the oven, IN the oven, on the table, the counter top... EVERYWHERE. When she verified that every note was in its place, it was five fifty o'clock. Then, she headed out the door. She got to school at six o'clock and waited for Nick inside the hallway. When Nick approached her, she smiled and waved. "Hey, Nick." She said, shaking. "Oh, hey, Miley!" Nick said, giving his biggest & best smile. "Listen, Nick... could you follow me to the corner for a sec?" Miley asked Nick. "Sure...?" Nick replied, confused. Miley took him by the wrist to a small corner. She was cramped. Nick was cramped. They were close. That was good. "Nick..." Miley felt his breath running swiftly through the air. "...I love you." Miley said. She quickly kissed him on the cheek and ran to her locker. "What was that s'pose to mean?" Nick said, following Miley. She heard the question and replied; "That means that I love you. Three simple words that mean so much." She said, stopping in her tracks. She then realized she was sounding like a cheesy poet. "Oh, right. Well, okay, then. So... Niley?" Nick asked. "Niley." Miley replied. They hugged and went separate ways, to different classes. After two classes it was lunch time.

chapter four; at lunch.

At lunch, Miley and Nick sat together. Of course. Then, Oliver and Lilly came over. Great. Miley thought. Just the perfect thing to ruin our ... uh, ... "date". When Lilly and Oliver sat down, Miley giggled. "What?" Oliver asked. "Oh, it's nothing." Miley replied. But Miley knew it was something. Actually, it was Nick, tickling her ankle. Oliver fell into a pot of jealousy when Miley and Nick looked at each other passionately. He coughed, queuing to stop the love-doveyness. "Sorry." Nick said. "Hey, Nick! Where are your bros?" Lilly asked. "Over... there." Nick said, scanning the lunch room for Joe and Kevin. "Bye, guys! C'ya later!" Lilly said, running to table number seven, as known as, the table that Kevin and Joe were sitting at. "Nobody gets too excited over stars being here, at the celeb school, do they? Because if this was a normal school, Lilly wouldn't even be able to get eighty-five inches away from Joe and Kevin." Oliver said, trying to break the romantic ice. For him, the ice was almost melting because of so much love between the two. "Not really, considering everybody knows each other." Miley said. Miley got up, picked up her tray and said bye to Nick and Oliver. "Bye, Nick. See you later." She said, winking. "Bye, Oliver." She said, not so peppy. "Hey, dude, why is Miley your girlfriend and not mine???" Oliver asked. "..." Nick was speechless. "I can't reply to that." He said, getting up and snickering.

chapter six; Yes?

The next day, at school, Miley went to Geography class.
There, she saw Joe. She tapped him on the shoulder.
"Hey, you." Miley said.
"Hey, Miley! What's up?" Joe said, turning around.
"Nothing much, you?"
"Same."
His cuteness was just too attracting. Did she like Joe like she liked Nick?
No. Yes. No. Yes. No. Yes. Yes. YES!
"Joe, I..." Miley didn't get to finish her sentence. The bell rang. Class started.
"Tell me after class, okay?" Joe said, turning back around. Miley noticed an empty seat next to him. She quickly moved to that seat, without Mr. Mitchell noticing. "Hey, again, Joe." Miley whispered. "Ay." He said. After that, it was silence and learning. "If England is over here, where is Australia?" Mr. Mitchell asked Joe. "Uh... me?" Joe asked confused. Mr. Mitchell nodded, waiting for an answer. "Oh, um... way over there." Joe got up and walked to the white board. He used his finger to point at Australia's location. "Dang." Miley thought. "Couldn't he have stayed a little longer? Dang." Miley spoke up and suggested: "Hey, Mr. Mitchell, how about we try out Australian and English accents, and see the difference!". Mr. Mitchell agreed and pulled a CD out of his "teaching bag". He popped it in his handy radio and turned it on. "Only you won't be talking in the accents." He said, pausing the CD. "You'll be listening to it." He finished. Eight seconds into the CD, the second period bell rang. "Bye, my little starshines!" Mr. Mitchell said sarcastically. Miley and Joe left the room. "So, Miley! What did you want to tell me?" Joe asked. Miley gulped.
