It looks as if the Miley Cyrus/Hannah Montana Best of Both Worlds 3-D Concert will be released on DVD and Blu-ray on August 19th complete with 3-D glasses! I got the Info from Tommy2.net today & August 19th is also my 16th birthday!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Am i lucky or what?????????????????????????

Yay!!!!!!! I missed the concert when it came 2 my town i missed the movie so I bought the CD but it only had like 2 music videos on it so I want the DVD of the complete movie!

Hi,

I saw the movie in theater here in Germany (Cinecitta in Nuremberg) last week and its really great :)

Before watching the movie the name "Miley Cyrus" meant nothing to me and I knew "Hannah Montana" only from the ads. :( I decided to watch this movie only cause the massive Hannah Montana marketing campaign running in Germany for the last few months and especially the "Hannah Montana and Miley Cyrus Best of Both Worlds Concert" movie posters hanging everywhere round the city made my curious.

Although I had never heared a single Miley Cyrus song before I left the cinema as a total Miley fan :)

It didn't even take Miley 90 minutes to make me a new fan of her!

Her songs are so great, emotional and honestly!

I could spend the whole day listening to Miley's songs :)

I've even started to watch "Hannah Montana" from the first episode and it is really fun to watch it :)

I can't understand that Miley is by far not as popular here in Germany then she is in the US. :(

When I asked for Miley Cyrus CDs in two major German CD stores (Mueller and Saturn) I almost couldn't believe this:

The guy in Mueller didn't even know how to spell Miley and after spelling it to him he didn't even find a single CD/Music DVD of her :(

The same thing in Saturn they have terminals where you can search for artists/albums etc. yourself. I entered "Miley Cyrus" and found nothing :(

So I tried it with "Hannah Montana" which brought me 2-3 CDs/Music DVDs in both stores but even this is nothing compared to what is available in the US.

It's so sad that almost nobody knows Miley over here in Germany especially not under her real name "Miley Cyrus" :(

Concerning the DVD / BluRay of the movie:

From what I read on the WWW they are both going to be released on 19th August in the US. The BluRay will feature the concert in 3D but comes with an additional 2D version (for those who can't watch 3D movies without feeling dizzy) and it will also include 7.1 uncompressed PCM audio. Each BluRay comes with 4 3D glasses.

The DVD will include the 3D version only (af far as I know) and comes with 5.1 Dolby Digital Audio. I also don't know how many 3D glasses come bundled with the DVD.

Unfortunately I don't think that the BluRay is gonna be released here in Germany at all even the DVD is not listed on German Amazon by now :(

Luckily I have a friend who would help me getting the BluRay along with a BluRay drive for my PC (yes I will upgrade my system with a BluRay drive to experience Miley in HD 3D :) ) from the US.

If anyone else in Germany would like to buy the US DVD/BluRay too I would be glad to help you out (of course I would only charge the US price and shipping fees, I don't want to make any profit out of this!).

btw I'm 21 and my brother (16) makes fun of me being a Miley fan too.

He told me that he would never listen to such "kids music" and that no one older than 14.5 would listen to this!

I don't know what he would tell me if he knew that I'm watching "Hannah Montana" too :)

But I don't care at all! Miley is great and I love here music no matter what anybody else says / thinks!

If you want to improve your English skills while having fun at the same time you should go and watch "Hannah Montana" episodes which you have allready watched in German again in English! Cause you allready know the plot this would give you an easy start in watching TV shows / movies in English!

Believe me I've learned more English watching TV and sitting in front of my computer than I did in school!

They are allmost priced the same and both the BluRay and the DVD will include a backstage pass according to that shop! :)

But I wonder whether this backstage pass is only valid for her US tours or also for her concerts outside the US?

I just read that description at TigerDirect.com again and I think I got the thing with the backstage pass wrong :(

The description says:


In addition to its viscerally real concert footage, the film includes a +óGé¼+ôbackstage pass+óGé¼-¥ peek at Miley+óGé¼Gäós life on tour.

When I read this for the first time I thought that it says that the DVD/BluRay will include a backstage pass but when I read it again I think it says only that the DVD/BluRay includes scenes that will give you a "backstage pass peak" at Miley :(

I think when I read it for the first time I read only what I wanted to read :)
