Prologue

Cassidy (Cecilia or Cici) Laura Jonas trotted her horse to her cousin, Chirtina Cassidy Jonas's limp figure sprawled out on the race track.

"CHRISTINA! CHRISTIE!" Cassidy cried jumping off her horse, Magic.

"Mother," Christina whispered.

An ambulance came up and picked up Christina who was whisked away in the ambulance. Joe Jonas, her father, got in with them as they dashed to the hospital.

"Be safe," Cassidy murmured.

Cassidy Jonas, Cassidy's aunt, died 14 years ago, 2 days after Christina's birth. Cassie Jonas, Cassidy's mother came up behind her.

"Oh my," She cried hugging her daughter.

Her father, Kevin Jonas, stood silently in the stands. e didn't approve of what Cassidy did. he wanted her to sing and carry on the Jonas music career since Christina had given up the chance. He destroyed every dream and happy moment of Cassidy's life. Her mother supplied her with Hope though.

"Oh Christie!" Cassidy cried.

Chapter 1: Reaching For Heaven

All my life, there was just me and my dreams. As the days went ticking by, teh dream became true. But then tragedy struck. Christina Cassidy Jonas, my cousin, was in a racing accident when riding her horse Shadow. I had a dreams to be an Olympic rider like Christina's dream. But after the accident, she was banned from riding. She escaped with a broken wrist and ankle. She survived.
As my her dreams faded away, mine was taken away by my father, Kevin Jonas. He wanted me to sing, take up the Jonas singing career. I revolted against his dream and went after mine. It did not wrok. I was not only banned from racing, but I was banned from my cousin, Christina. Now I am 18, 4 years later.

"Cassidy! Sing," My father said.

I took a deep breath and began singing.

"As I look into the future, I won't forget about teh past. All the times we spent together, they will always last. This place I have been will always be in my heart. I leave all my memories so they will not part." I sang.

My father shook his head.

"Cecilia! I know what you can do! DO IT!" He cried.

I stared at him coldly.

"Cassidy is my name." I murmured.

"Cecilia is your name. You will be called that in my book!" My father bellowed.

I shook my head.

"I want it to stay Cassidy. That's what you calle dme before. I hate you!" I called to my father and raced up to my room.

My father did not move, though my mother, Cassie Jonas, did.

"Honey," She said sitting next to me on my bed.

"Mom, I want to race. I want to be with Christina!" I cried letting the tears fall.\

"I know, but Kevin, your dad." Cassie, my mother, said.

I smiled at her.

"It's your dreams. Do it. Win it. Reach it." She said.

I gave her a hug and raced out the door.
