I think I know why they did it, and I even understand it, but Miley should've known that most people would find that offensive. I think she pushed the envelope this time. I don't think she meant to be mean, I think she meant to just parody it and not care that people thought she was copying Selena, but she got a little carried away. So my verdict is that it wasn't mean to be mean, but she did get carried away.

Since the video was almost word for word, I think it was meant to be harmless, but most people won't see it that way. I don't really know what to think. I don't think she meant to be mean or rude. I really don't. But it did kind of come off that way. The teeth thing was in the original S&D video, so I think it was supposed to be just a parody, and I think they are friends. I don't know. I hope it just blows over.

The teeth thing was in the original S&D video, plus, it seemed more self-depricating on Miley's part, since she probably knows that she takes a lot of crap for her teeth. The video itself was funny, and I can see why some are offended, but at the end it says "Check out our friends Selena and Demi on youtube." I don't know. Miley and Mandy were parodying a parody of them made by Demi and Selena. The two videos are on the first posting. Demi and Selena were imitating Miley and Mandy on their video. They were funny too.

I found this rude. Demi is probably sensitive about having a gap (I mean there's no way she likes it) and Miley and Mandy seemed like they were making fun of her because of it. And Mandy seemed like she was making fun of Demi's makeup. I don't think that in the video Demi's makeup is dark, but Mandy draws it really dark. Yeah, it was a joke. But it most likely offended Selena and Demi, cause I know that if they were doing that to one of my videos I would have been pretty mad about it.

When I saw it a second time, I thought that it was just them trying to SNL their friends. Which really makes it seem way less malicious than what people are thinking it is. I think they meant to do a parody, to show that it was cool between the four of them. I think some people want to think they're feuding. But I don't think they are. Selena seems to love Miley, and though we don't hear as much from Miley on Selena, there doesn't seem to be any bad blood. I think the girls just got a little carried away. Which happens. I think the video was a mistake in that, some people are a little sensitive. In terms of content, I found nothing wrong with it.

I saw it, and i wrote down that i love both miley and mandy but that it seemed really mean, even if they didnt mean to make it that way and that they should definatly do an apology video. a lot of ppl got really mad at them for that, even if it was jut a joke. im still a fan, but not as big of a fan as i used to be

Okay not to be rude or anything, but you guys are fighting over something that doesn't even involve
us. Everybody is acting like a bunch of twelve year olds. I mean sure, some parts can be considered rude
but its up to Selena and Demi to decide if they're mad or not, not a bunch of defensive fans. I'm sure
everybody on here has mocked somebody before. it doesn't seem as rude when you're the one doing it,
now does it? I see the reason to discuss, but i don't see any reason to fight (which is against the rules
I'm sure).

So lets just cool it and I'm sure these friends will work it out. Nobody can claim that they are only
friends because Disney makes them, we aren't them are we? If there is a conflict between them, it will be
a conflict between only them, so there is no need to get defensive.

the point is that i can bet that demi got a little hurt by it, even if she won't show it. even if they weren't trying to be rude, i bet demi is upset, esp. by the make up thing.
