Did Miley really get a name change?

I heard she legally changed her name to Miley Ray Cyrus. But, you cant believe everything you hear! I dont really know if this is possible because she would have to have parental consent, and I dont know if her parents would let her. (I mean shes not even allowed to move out of the house till shes 20...)

Well excuse me my internet was down for 6 months! So obviously not EVERYBODY knows that. and btw, she CAN NOT MOVE OUT OF HER PARENTS HOUSE UNTIL SHES 20! SHE EVEN SIGNED A CONTRACT WITH HER MOM. Thers no reason to get rude.

yeah, it's legally 'Miley Ray' since late January (I think). Oh, yeah, internet sucks when it's down. and yeah, she had her parents' consent. She has to stay till she's 20, cuz she signed the contract, but she'll drive her mom crazy so she doesn't have to. yes she did, you can hear her say it is any number of interviews. Also they let her switch it because shes getting her permit soon and she wants her ID to be the stage as her stage name, it just makes it easier that way. Its harder to switch all that stuff after you've already got a permit.

Just for the notice, Ray is her middle name given to her by her father when she was born.

Yea, because my main goal as a 22 year old male college student is to make a bunch of 13 year old girls jealous of my middle name. My Great-Grandfather's name was Ray. My Grandfather's name was Ray Jr., my father's first and middle name is Douglas Ray and my first and middle name is Travis Ray. Its not that uncommon of a name.
